This is a 30+ minute drive for us but tied it to another stop nearby to make it more worth the drive, as wife has been wanting to find an actual coffee roaster nearby. As we were reading the board & trying to figure out everything, someone behind the counter offered help if we needed it. We asked a question or two, wife ordered a couple bags of whole bean varieties & then we got some drinks to go. I'm not a coffee drinker so got a chai latte, which was very good - warm with a spice kick. Wife said her coffee was good too. And check the photo for that roasting date on the bags we got - it's TODAY'S date. This coffee is fantastic! They have monthly themed drinks and then all of the standard coffee shop drinks that you would expect. They offer a lot of syrups and variety. I was impressed! The honey lavender ordered half sweet was perfect. The iced coffee was strong and smooth. The large is 24 ounces. The price is fair for what you get They offer and roast a range of beans there. They sell merchandise and if you buy a canister it saves you money. They have a whole menu online too. It has been busy on our visits but the really friendly staff keeps it moving. If you're ever in canton or holly spring i highly recommend visiting Alma! The service there is 10/10 and the overall experience is wonderful! They have a full on bean roasting right there while you order! It's so cool to see them packing orders right there. Awesome place for a cup of coffee, not only is it delicious to drink there, but you can buy and take home as well. They have great drinks freshly made right there in the shop, bags of coffee to take home, or canisters you can buy and refill. There's limited seating inside where you order, but there's a work room/study area in the building to the right of the main shop and a lot of outdoor seating too! The staff is always so sweet here and works hard. The inside of the shop also gives a glimpse into their warehouse so you can see the roasting side of things as well. Woodstock has a limited number of local coffee shops, so I was excited to discover Alma Coffee just 15 minutes away from my house. I have been to Alma probably a half dozen times in the last 6 months to year. The Alma environment is fun and aesthetically pleasing with a bustling shop, a quieter inside sitting space, and outside seating perfect for beautiful days. On Saturdays, a number of vendors set up shop outside, and I've enjoyed shopping with them a couple times. The staff is friendly and efficient. I typically have a cold brew or latte with a specialty syrup. Sometimes, the drinks are perfection, but other times, I feel like the syrups are just a bit off. I think that I need to come here more often to really find my signature drink that I love every time. read more

I'm glad to have found Alma Coffee near my house! I ordered a regular hot latte- delicious! The service was super friendly. It was my first time there and the guy at the register was nice and patient. The place itself is really cool and unique. You enter through a building where you can see the roasting machine equipment, which gives it an industrial-feel. Then if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee, you go into what looks like a house that is attached. It was a quiet studying/working area with soft music in the background. If I could give less than one star I would. First they cannot make a cappuccino lately. I ask for one and it's always a latte. The baristas and extremely rude about it and they are more worried about fancy milk art than the actual drink they make. If you ask for something specific they ignore you and they let the milk sit out instead of putting it in the fridge. On top of all this some guy told my husband he is not allowed to smoke on property even though there has never ever been a no smoking sign. My husband is always on the far side of the parking lot when he smokes. But don't worry. We won't be back and you all lost a repeat customer. Keep your attitude and customer no service to yourself. It's easy to miss Alma. It's on a road in a small town, removed from view by trees. The long driveway and simple sign do nothing to promote the wonders inside. And that is part of the magic. The store is run by a rotating group of very nice young ladies. They are polite and very knowledgeable about the coffee they roast, grind, serve, and sell. They can take you through the menu, give recommendations based on your preferences, and I have yet for them to steer me wrong. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Weather drives my choice, but I've been happy with both. Local bakers have displays with their wares for sale. All are delicious and pair wonderfully. I personally think Alma beats other coffee shops in quality on all levels. Probably the only downside is I fear them becoming too popular. So I bought a bag of Alma coffee a few months ago at a local fair and just now getting around to brewing a pot. What a wonderful and rich flavor. I'm hooked! Not overwhelming but a very smooth and flavorful cup. I got the Soulmate and you can taste the milk chocolate, clementines and candied walnuts! Amazing! It's grown in the Chopan Region in Hounduras. Wow! This place is amazing! You walk in and see and smell their roastery. Not only do they roast their own beans, they also make their own syrups in unique flavors. I had the rosemary maple latte and it was delicious. My husband tried the apple pie iced latte. I also tried their drip coffee and it was quite delicious as well. My favorite part of the experience was the amazing batista. He KNEW his coffee and he was the one that makes the syrups. He had the most energy I've ever seen from a Barista and he was so super friendly. This place ticks every box for a coffee efdiciando. It is definitely a MUST try if you are in the area! This location is located inside the student community center at Chattahoochee Tech. Parking is first come first serve. Although they do have a grab and go 15 min. spot reserved. The coffee itself is robust and flavorful. They have everything from french press to Cuban style and everything in between. If you are playing to stay in the student center(the place is open to the general public) they have a bottomless cup for $3 which is a total steal! Their regular drip is $2 and most of their lattes are about $3-ish (Afterall this is located in a college where eating Ramen noodles 5 times a week is a rite of passage) A desperately needed addition to our area! read more

Hoping the owner reads this. Coffee is amazing. Staff is friendly. Just advice on improvement. If someone orders a simple black coffee, don't make them wait 10 minutes on all the custom drinks. I stood and waited, and waited, and finally it took your staff about 20 seconds to pour a cup. The cashier could easily just turn and pour. Just a thought. Your coffee is way better than Starbucks but I can get in and out of Starbucks in about a minute in a half. No way I'm waiting 10 minutes for a simple cup of black coffee. read more
