Bawarchis is an institution, and it's exciting that they have graced their presence in this area. They've also brought along a good dessert spot with them - Kwality is an Indian ice cream wonderland. Got takeout to go - chicken 555 and chicken dum biryani. It's got the same taste as the food in Sandy Springs, now we don't have to drive so far to get it. For those who haven't had before, Bawarchi always does solid chicken appetizers (flavorful and crispy), their biryani is always on the masala-forward side (think strong garam masala). Biryani came with raita and mirchi salan. Looking forward to trying Kwality next time.

I was getting my haircut and my hair stylist told me about the new Indian restaurant that had opened up in the same complex. I am glad she did as our lunch was delicious! I was considering of getting butter chicken but per the server's recommendation I got the Andhra Chicken curry instead. It was so tasteful! Remember to tell them what spice level you would like. I like medium hot but on the spicier side and I got level 6. My husband got the Achari Gosht (mutton) also recommended by the server. He wanted to get mutton but was not sure which dish. And of course we ordered the garlic naan (One is enough for two people). The portions are reasonable. If you want to order an appetizer I recommend sharing a main dish. You can always order more! We will definitely go back to dine here again.

I have been back to this restaurant twice in the last week it is just that good! The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The interior is clean and well decorated, there is lots of room for groups if needed. The boneless chicken biryani has been my favorite, so flavorful and tasty. Can't wait to try some of the other items on the menu on my next visit so far it seems I can't go wrong. Definitely a hidden gem for wonderful Indian cuisine in Kennesaw!

My sister and I enjoyed our food we decided to try a new dish and everything was good and the waiter had no problem describing the menu to us. The ice cream store attached to the restaurant "Kreative ice cream" was nice and the lady taking the orders was so kind

I have nothing bad to say about them & my man & I have ordered Togo from here many times now. Food is always hot & fresh even after getting it delivered, too. The owners & staff TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY even when you're just picking up a Togo order, & they even give you a delicious little mango smoothie to take with you! Maybe it's just cause they like me though (; haha, idk. We always get the butter chicken & ask for naan instead of rice because we prefer jasmine rice over basmati, & they are super accommodating about it every time. I've been meaning to leave a review for a while now because it's been past well deserved. I hope they stay open for a long time & that business is good for them! The rest of my food was very tasty as well . But that naan was flavorful, buttery and fresh . Don't mess up my naan ! To my surprise they were very busy for a weekday . After ordering I realized there isn't really a place to wait without feeling like I'm in the way of other patrons entering . Unless you were dining in . There were three chairs ( I think ) right in the doorway . I had to move my feet each time someone came in. If I stood up , I was still in the way of the staff . That was annoying but otherwise the place seems clean as for as I could see . The staff just looked like they were focused on serving . They were neutral. No smiles or greetings , but they weren't rude . The buffet was out front center around the customers who were dining in. I took a peek over there. The food looked appetizing. Next time , I'll try the dining in experience.

We started coming here a little over a year ago and felt it was a borderline 4 star--cleanliness…read morewas always questionable (constant sticky floors and utensils). We've also started noticing a decline in the food quality; little things they do to cut corners such as extra breading on anything that has breading (like gobi manchurian, chicken lollipops, etc.). All the chicken chunks in their main dishes (chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, chicken home style curry, etc.) are all cooked until they're hard as rocks and tough as a rubber band ball--basically inedible. The tandoori chicken lying around is fairly dry, with the exception of the drumsticks, but they're all cool/lukewarm. There's also significantly less customers than there used to be, with a Saturday prime lunch time basically crickets and flies--we saw 2 tables in the hour we were there and it was empty when we got there). It's on the lower end of a 3 star now, but I'll give it the 3 due to the flavorful sauces (minus the completely bland home style curry) and the desserts are still pretty good. I hope they stop cutting corners and focus more on food quality, but I think this is our last visit here. We always came here for the tikka masala (my husband's favorite Indian dish) and considering it's inedible...I guess this is it.

Open in East Rome since fall 2024, we ordered from the take-home paper menu because it describes each course in detail. We had: Butter chicken. We started here based on local social media recommendations. This isn't something Paula Deen would whip up with her traditional "stick of butter." States the menu: "Chicken cooked with herbs and spices in a butter sauce." It looks something you'd put on spaghetti rather than the generous bowl of rice. Our take: It will be our go-to at this spot; good and filling. Chicken kurma (chicken, spices, coconut and herbs) was our friend's main course. Again, with a mound of rice. He shared it and all items that evening. Our take: Also good with more zip than the butter chicken. Mix vegetable korma (a floured gravy made with parboiled vegetables). This was our side if you will (no fries). A tangy broth that was very tasty, especially when dipping the naan we ordered. The meal is served at your table but a note that indoor seating is tight. The utensils and napkins are self-serve and you're asked to clear your place when done. There's covered outdoor seating with wind guards. And we were surprised by the steady flow of carry-out customers. Entrees mostly are from $10 to $20 with many in the $13 range. Appetizers and desserts vary. Cards accepted.

Sizzling on a cast iron platter with aromatics mixed in. This dish was perfectly seasoned. The chicken was my favorite! The Chicken Korma was next. This has to be one of my favorite Indian dishes ever. The chicken is almost secondary to the sauce as I tend to dip naan the whole time I'm eating it. The chicken however was very tender and the flavors were incredible! We had two different kinds of Naan to sop all of the sauces up! Such an incredible variety!
