I've been to this Culvers 3 times and likely won't go again. First time was excellent when it had walleye pike on the menu. Fish was excellent and no delivery problems when I called in early. Second time, no walleye and order wasn't ready when I arrived at the time agreed upon. I had to wait 15 minutes in the parking lot for the order. Third time was a disaster. Apparently, it has its own way of pricing its sides other than its published menu pricing. Not only was the order not ready, I had to wait 20 minutes in the parking lot, was charged incorrectly, and was shorted an order of fries. Last time I'll use this Culvers. read more

Nothing Special Culvers is an decent place to grab a good lunch or dinner. However, I didnt find anything special or spectacular. Culvers offers some different items from the ordinary burger shops. Today, I had a grilled chicken sandwich and french fries and cost about $8. I guess Culver's has better fast food than most other fast food restaurants but nothing I would go out of the way for. All in all I guess it's a nice change of pace from the typical, Wendy's or McDonald's. Maybe, next time I will spluge and try one of the Ice cream treats look very good. read more

Unbelievable. Waited 20 minutes for food. During that time watched 2 people have issues with their done in orders. Decided we should check our to go order in the car before leaving. The receipt was correct. Bacon was missing on 2 sandwiches. The burger ordered just without a bun was given to me as just a patty with cheese. I brought the food back in and it took over 15 minutes to re-make it. The second time, my chicken sandwich STILL had no bacon. The only thing done to the burger patty was it was thrown on top of some shredded lettuce. I went back in and just asked them to give me some bacon on the side so I could put it on myself. One side salad had cheese and tomato, the other was just lettuce, one slice of cucumber and croutons. If I could give a negative star I would. First, we had to wait at least 20mins sitting there, and nobody told us what was going on. When I rang the button, the manager answered in a very irritated tone and advised me that the longer I ask the longer my food will wait, like I dont have the right to ask when my food is taking forever. Floors were filthy, women's bathroom the same plus it smelled like an outhouse (plumbing problem?). There was no excuse for such deplorable conditions with that few customers. I asked for the Mgr. Met a wonderful person up at this location earlier in the week. It was during the lunch hour but it wasn't crowded at all. Service was friendly and exceptionally quick (minus a small cash register snafu.) Food was at our table quickly. Quality was excellent and of course I can't resist the diet root beer. I normally don't come to any Culver's anymore for drive-thru service, and it's also a bit pricey. But this was inside seating and the service was far better than what I've been use to in the past. I ordered the fish n chips and my son ordered roast beef sandwich it was Wonderful so I thought to take my family when we were going out of town. THIS location was Horrendous!!! This location needs some help. Stood at the counter with zero acknowledgment while two or three employees stepped up to print receipts or orders then walked away. Tables were dirty or sticky. The floor around the beverage station was so sticky it pulled my sandals off my feet. The kid who brought out our order slid it onto our table while looking in the opposite direction. Food was fine. I just hope the kitchen is cleaner than the dining room. I certainly don't expect fine dining service, but I think I'll stick to the drive thru. Fresh food made and brought to the table. Daughter number 2 and I decided to break for lunch at Culver's after shopping. We had a coupon for Buy 1 Value Basket and Get 1 Free. We ordered the Culver's Deluxe Basket and the North Atlantic Cod Value Basket ($8.50 each). Later, we purchased a Deluxe Snack Pack (around $5). The Butterburger at Culver's comes with a nicely toasted bun. The burger is tasty and the veggies are fresh. We adore their Culver's root beer almost as draft A&W. Not quite, though. The North Atlantic Cod came beer battered, but the sandwich seemed a little small to me. Crinkle cut fries are plentiful in the basket. I got their sweet potato fries. It was nicely fried. The value baskets are generous in their fries. You also get a medium drink. Without a coupon, I believe that the snack pack was better price-performance. We had our fill, and sadly, did not finish our fries. We will come back again. read more

First let me say that it's hard for a mid-westerner to say anything negative about a Phoenix area restaurant that serves walleye pike, and it's always excellent at this restaurant. However, like Mr. Culver says, Friday night fish fry is a mid-west tradition. Hence the problem. There are too many mid-western transplants and too many others in the Valley who have come to love walleye pike. Friday night at this place is a zoo even though there are employees stepping on each other. I call my order in at least an hour before I pick it up, so I don't have to be directed to a parking space to wait. Even though I called in my order an hour before pickup, tonight I was directed to a parking space and had to wait 20 minutes, even though other customers came to the drive-up window and went. I'm guessing my call-in order must have been misplaced so they had to start from scratch. Word to the wise, avoid this place on Fridays....especially around dinner time or expect to spend an inordinate amount of time waiting at what is supposed to be a "fast-food" restaurant. read more

OMG how can people eat this much cheese? I thought I was hardcore. I'm not. I got some sort of Colby burger with a side of cheese curds. I wanted as close to the Wisconsin experience as I could get...at least without the alcohol poisoning. My problem was not how rich this food was, and you'd be silly to come here and not understand what you're getting into. My issue was how *bland* it was. The crunchy bits of onion straws and little dab of what I believe to be steak sauce didn't help. The bun was flavorless and not even toasted. Do you even use salt and pepper on your meat? I was more excited about the signature root beer...and the giant TV tuned into the NBA playoffs. Service was surprisingly polite. Like, even better than In n Out. I love this place! Not only does it feel welcoming, but the food is fresh. It reminds me of Braums in Oklahoma. The frenchfries are fresh and great. When you bite into a burger it just feels right. I enjoy how great their customer service is. You go inside it's clean and sanitary. The drive in sometimes takes a while but because the fresh burgers and fries I'm okay with it. I love how in the drive in they will explain what's all in something and they are promptly on knowing the menus. If I was able to not leave a star I would of. My husband, daughters and I came into this place at 6:00 PM June 26th 2022. My husband had asked the person up in the front FIVE times the same question and she REFUSED TO LOOK UP FROM HER DAMN PHONE TO EVEN RESPOND!!!! I told him "she's to busy on her phone to pay attention" ANOTHER 10 seconds went past then she finally looked up at us, turned around and ignored us. Another kid turned around and AGAIN my husband had to ask this kid 4 times the same question. I asked to talk to a "manager" and she was finally coming out when we started walking out. I talked to her and told her the issue and she didn't F'ing care either. She said "well we are busy and they are kids." I told her idc if they are kids or not they are suppose to be there doing a job not playing on their phones. She said they are having that issue WELL IF THEY ARE THEN GET RID OF THEM!! I'm not a fan of maggot burgers with flies on the side. My wife just got out of the hospital from a bowel perforation, she has a limited diet and plain chicken is one of the few things she can have. We've had the same meal the past three dinners from this location, but today we got a heavily seasoned chicken breast with a grilled fly (no that is not a misspelling) next to her sandwich. I decided to check my sandwich and the cheese was definitely molded. Needless to say we will not be eating at this location again. Who knows what illnesses people might get from food they don't thoroughly check. What's worse that when we contacted them (we didn't want the whole meal comped, just the cost of the chicken sandwich) they proceeded to tell us about a time they had flies crawling out of their salad and demanding proof (in the form of bringing the sandwich back, probably so they could serve it to someone else). This is ridiculous and poor customer service. Even corporate didn't seem to care, saying that each location is individually owned as if that was some kind of explanation. So, if our voice will not be heard by the restaurant itself, I'll make sure it is heard everywhere, we've already filed a complaint with the Environmental Services. read more

The concrete mixers are my favorites, seeing as how you get the joy of ice cream and the benefits of a couple dozen flavor combinations. I thought well lucky me! I went through the drive thru and parked at the Denny's to eat which is just across from Culver's so there should be no reason it would of been cold. Asked for no mayo which they got right but put no ketchup on it. Not sure how this franchise owner is making any money but it's obvious he doesn't care about the 3 star rating. If I could leave a zero I would. I through it in the trash and did not have time to deal with a return so my loss but maybe you won't make the same mistake I did. Usually love Culver's. It was a fun family spot for us. We liked the fries and butter burgers but mostly love the custard. We would come just for the custard sometimes. Tonight we ordered regular concrete mixer with chocolate, fudge and snickers and one with the ice cream of the day lemon crumble, fudge and strawberries. We were served ice cream soup. Immediately we noticed the texture of the ice cream and threw it out We were waiting for quite awhile in the drive thru also to be served this ice cream soup. Mine was ice cream soup with frozen strawberries. We don't know what happened, they had been delicious and quite thick before. It was unsatisfying to a sweet tooth and waste of a couple dollars. Do not eat here!!! They messed up my drive thru order and gave me fries instead of cheese curds in one of my combos. When I went inside to tell them about the simple mistake she said it would be $1.50 for the upcharge. That's kinda weird most places would've just said "sorry about that here's some cheese curds" but whatever, It's a buck fifty. So the girl on the grill says something to the register employee along the lines of because the food had already been served I needed to give the fries back or it was gonna be full price. (Keep in mind this was their mistake) So I laughed hysterically and said "are you serious?" and the incredibly rude and unpleasant girl working the grill says " if he's only paying for the upcharge I need the fries back" so I walked to my car and got the fries (that had now been sitting in my car for about 10 minutes) gave them back to the employee at the register. I was expecting her to toss them but she turns to the grill cook and yells "here's your fries" and put them by the serving window. I said "that's disgusting" and walked out. I don't know what happen to them after that. What gets me most is the attitude of the employees. Zero accountability. I don't think I've ever had such an unpleasant experience at a "restaurant". Culver's is a delight. They are always on target with butter fried burgers, which is something you just don't find at any other current burger joints. It's why the meals take longer to come out once your order is placed, even in drive thru. I order what I usually get when I go to a Culver's, and that is the Mushroom and Swiss burger. Side of fries and a Mountain Dew, and I'm golden. Normally I'd get the Wisconsin cheese curds, but today I was in a rush to get to work and the cheese curds can drain you of all energy with their deliciousness, even with the caffeine/sugar combo from the Mountain Dew. Looks like I'll be returning to this joint a little more than I should, as I recently discovered that this Culver's is merely a few miles from my workplace out in Buckeye. read more

So tonight, they have me my custards first, then asked me to pull forward while they make my food. Ten minutes later, my custards are turning into milkshakes.
