The Yard Milkshake Bar deserves every bit of praise it gets. I ordered the Brookie Batter, and my wife got a custom shake. Both were outrageously good. These are not casual little milkshakes. They are full dessert events in a cup, and they know exactly what they are doing. The menu has a lot going on, so it took us a minute to figure out what we wanted, but the staff were friendly, patient, and helpful the whole time. That made the experience even better, because with that many choices, it is easy to get overwhelmed. If ice cream did not go through me like a cement truck, I would eat it more often. But digestive consequences aside, this place was fantastic. Great shakes, great customer service, and a fun stop that absolutely lived up to the hype. read more

The atmosphere here is lively, vibrant, and fun. The shakes are incredibly creative, over-the-top, and visually impressive. It's clear that a lot of effort goes into making them stand out. Unfortunately, that is also why this place isn't really for me. I walked in not knowing exactly what to expect and quickly realized that the concept is centered around extravagant desserts and large, highly decorated shakes. While I can appreciate the creativity, I personally found them to be a bit excessive and wasteful for my tastes. That said, I can absolutely see why others enjoy it. If you're looking for a fun dessert experience, a social media-worthy treat, or something unique to share with friends or family, this may be exactly what you're looking for. It simply wasn't a match for my personal preferences. read more

Wow they claim to be an ice cream shop but this is so much more than that. Every creation that they have on the menu comes out, looking like an art form. It is way too much ice cream and way too much pie, etc if you are counting calories so just don't count them and enjoy the masterpieces they have created! The place is very clean and well decorated. It looks like a great ice cream place and that is what it is. Even though we accidentally happened in on the heels of a school sports team, the staff was still super friendly, chugged away at the 40 orders or so in front of us and still managed be be very cheerful the whole time. They do have regular ice cream cones, etc. but why not go big and treat yourself? This is the place to do it. read more

We came to try the place out after eating at Spitz. We were greeted by both employees when we walked in. I thought they only served milkshakes, but that is not the case. The ice cream is blue bell. There was a nice amount of choices. I ordered the oatmeal one. It was delicious. Hubs got the blueberry one. Also, delicious. The two would pair nicely if you decided to get two scoops. The place was full with people and a steady stream coming in. We chose to sit inside while we ate. A cute little place. Only complaint is there are no cake cones. read more

Upon walking in on a Saturday afternoon it was slightly busy (3 parties ahead of us) but we moved up to order pretty quickly. We got the Pralines and Dream Bowl and it was so good! It came with a small scoop of cookie dough that paired really well with the ice cream. The spot was cute and perfect for a date or time with the family! We'll be back! read more

Very clean place with an array of ice cream combinations and toppings. Honestly, there was so much going on with the menu, I didn't even know where to start. The server was friendly. I got the Twix Fix as the sundae, and it was monstrous. The presentation was insane and, in my opinion, over the top, but that's what makes the experience for me. I ordered the souvenir pint jar--you can ask the server for the lid when you're done and go wash the jar yourself next to the bathroom, where they have a dedicated sink area. Pretty cool! All of the ice cream my friends and I got was delicious. I would return, but probably get a less expensive option without all the flair. read more

A sweet (and slightly pricey) treat! We stopped by The Yard Milkshake Bar for a little dessert adventure, and it definitely lived up to the hype! My husband went the minimalist route--he ordered one of their signature milkshakes without all the crazy toppings (no candy, no cookies, no whipped cream towers), and guess what? He saved $8 and was very happy about it. The shake was still delicious and super satisfying, just a lot easier on the wallet--and way less messy! I went with two scoops of ice cream: oatmeal and coffee. WOW. Both were phenomenal--super creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take their ice cream seriously here. Yes, it's definitely on the pricey side, especially if you go all out with the full Yard experience. But if you're looking for a fun treat or want to customize things a bit like we did, it's totally worth it. We'll definitely be back for another round! read more

They have milkshakes, ice cream bowls, cones, cookie dough, and many many flavor options. I haven't tried all of them, but recommend the Cake Batter and Blue Monster ice cream flavors. My aunt & I had a wonderful outing here at the new location in Goodyear last Saturday afternoon. This location is located by Goodyear park, w/ restaurants within walking distance, wine bar & nail shop all conveniently located in the outdoor plazas in the area. The parking lot is shared w/ other businesses & have a parking garage next so plenty of parking. As soon as we walked in; we were both greeted immediately, the decor, friendliness of the staff, music, menu selections & ice cream flavors were amazing. The prices can start anywhere from:$8-18 or more depending on if you want a scoop, smaller ice cream sundae & or the big ice cream w/ souvenir glass. We choose the ice cream creation w/ the glass because for the price of 2 you will be paying $38 but definitely can share 1 w/ 2 people. Our desserts were the s'more's & the peanut butter brownie bliss which were both delicious & definitely took our time eating them both. Make sure you bring a bottle of water w/ you because you would need it after eating all your sweets. You can also ask the workers to try samples of ice cream before ordering as well. A tip: we saved our s'more's & brownie for later putting into a cup to take home for a 2nd treat & focused on eating our ice creams. Also; you can wash your glass in the back before leaving to take it home. A suggestion to put a soap dispenser & napkins in the area as well for better cleaning & drying. Wow! I didn't know what I was walking into. I went with a friend and her kid and was persuaded to get something on my own. I figured, "why not?" and got a huge specialty bowl. One scoop was 5$ and a bowl was 13$. It was sooo good! It was Oatmeal Cookie flavored with ice cream, an oatmeal cookie, and an oatmeal cookie-dough scoop. Everything was perfect. I definitely couldn't eat the whole thing and didn't make much of a dent, but I took it home to have more of later. What a joy! I'd 100% try more. read more

We went in around lunch time as a family and decided on one giant milkshake, it fed me and my three kids and still had to take some of it home. It was delicious and very over the top for sure. But everything tasted so good. The service was not that good. We weren't welcomed and we stood waiting to have our order placed while they were cleaning. I did ask for receipt and never received it. At that point just felt like we were bothering them. The place is smaller so if it does become busy or you have a large group just prepare for that. Definitely a must try for the over the top milkshakes but I think when we go back we will get the already prepared milkshakes in a jar. They had tons of options! read more

I've wanted to check out The Yard for sometime, but we always are near by after we've eaten a large meal nearby and are way too full. This weekend we took one for the team and went anyway ha ha . While the inside itself is pretty underwhelming for the look of their fancy shakes etc there is a cute instagramable wall inside. We arrived later in the day to Amory location besides the employee that greeted us. I decided on the small peanut butter brownie sundae and my husband a small strawberry shake. He is pretty dessert boring so not even sprinkles on his lol. Sad I know. Thank goodness I ordered a small sundae because it was massive!!!!! It was also very, very good. Ice cream quality was wonderful, but man was it so much sugar. I barely made a dent and had to take it home and put it in the freezer for my son to finish. My husband said his shake was good. However for over $24 I'll probably pass coming very often unless sharing with someone and treating myself for a special occasion. read more

Enjoyed trying this place out tonight. Took our two dogs as Yelp indicated dogs allowed. Glad we did. They have a "Pup cup" which we found out after ordering costs $4! But it's large enough for three small dogs! Has vanilla ice cream, whip cream, and two large dogs treats! Wife and I had great treats as well - again, split the large one between two of us. They were very friendly and nice to us and the pups, and we sat inside since still hot outside. Got lids to take home left overs. Didn't see seating outside but some nearby. It's in the new goodyear city plaza area near spitz. Wish they had water bowls for dogs, but oh well. Daughter had to speak loudly to get lids as the workers were sitting on floor in the kitchen area... not worth a drop in star though. We will be back. read more

$18 for a milkshake is a little crazy, but these milkshakes are massive. They offer a wide variety of ice cream and milkshake flavors. Perfect cold treat for the heat. I liked that each milkshake comes in a souvenir mason jar, and they have sinks and bags in the back so you can clean out your jar to take home once you're done. I'd definitely come back, but next time, we'll probably just split one milkshake--it's more than enough to share between two people! read more

Pretty dang good. My wife and I came in last night as I saw it was finally open. Soooo many options but ultimately we decided for 2 plain old strawberry milk shakes. They utilize blue bell ice cream and have tons of variations of treats. The shakes were $9 a piece, but I have to admit they were really good. You even get the Boba style straws, which is extremely helpful when drinking a thick shake. We will absolutely be back. read more

Me and the wife had a ice cream date here and can definetly say it was worth it!!! I love how what you see on the menu is exactly what they serve, so many unique different options and all great quality ingredients. Staff was friendly and answered any questions and provided recommendations for our first time! Price is reasonable and worth it plus you get to keep the jars and even have a washing station along with bags for easy transport. All in all will be coming back for a cold treat during this up coming summer!! read more

They serve Blue Bell ice cream for ridiculously high prices. The presentation was visually stunning and that's about it. The music was too loud and was extremely explicit with GD repeatedly blaring in the store. It is what it is but there were a lot of children so it felt extremely inappropriate. When we asked for a cup of ice water, we were told they don't have water other than bottled water. Also, it was made apparent that they expected a tip, which just seems absurd considering we spent $60 on ice cream. It was clean in the store and the ordering process went fast and we didn't have to wait too long for the ice cream. read more

When I walked in, I was greeted almost immediately. The young gentleman working was friendly, helped package my order, showed me the cookies, and got me on my way quickly. While the service was great, I did notice that the Reese's peanut butter cup brownie cookie didn't have as many Reese's pieces as advertised on Crumbl's website. That part was a little disappointing--especially since this specialty cookie costs an additional $1.50 on top of the already $6 price. For that price, it would be nice to see the candy pieces fully covering the brownie rather than just two or three pieces. Overall, the experience was good, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I just hope the specialty cookies are topped more generously in the future to better match what's advertised.

I went back the second time and that's where the excitement began. Instead of going in to order quickly, I took a gander around and noticed there's a whole clean, spacious, aesthetic seating area! This coffee shop is a beautiful hidden gem and I am so grateful it's in Goodyear! The coffee? 1000% better than your favorite Starbucks or Dutch Bros drink (trust me, their coffee/tea literally sparkles if your request it; and I'm not being figurative here). Spacious and calm enough to bring your work from home materials to a table in the lobby / have a friendly conversation at one of the comfortable seating arrangements. The employees? Everyone from the back of the house staff (cooks, coffee gurus, etc.) to the customer service at the front desk are obviously happy to work there; they're friendly and great at their jobs. Mad Mocha is just a few steps inside and while small it does offer a bar tip with stools to sit and hang out and enjoy your coffee. If you're there to get you're nails or hair done you can take you're coffee to enjoy while you pamper yourself. I was lucky enough to talk to the owner today and she was so great. I learned they started out as a coffee truck and have been open for about four seasons. They have been in the Enclave Salon space for about six months now. I'm sure a lot of you are wondering where they get their coffee beans from; They partner with Press Coffee, another great coffee. Today I tried the Highland Hank CB, Cinnamon Swirl CB and the SF Vanilla CB. I also picked up their version of a Caramel cookie for a friend. The cold brew was so smooth, no acidity which is a score for me. They don't over do the flavoring and the real coffee taste shines through. I don't know how many sugar free options they offer as I didn't think to ask, but I do know vanilla is of course one. Service was phenomenal and I felt like I was just sitting talking to a friend. They had consistent business while I sat at the counter. Great stop. Come by and support this great local spot.

My mountain neighbors were grazing contentedly at their tables. The menu boards were crammed with options. Things I like. Where do I even begin? My husband had been gatekeeping. I called and told him that I found this cafe and asked if he wanted anything - and he said he'd been there a couple of times before on the way to work. The bagels (though he told me that they were fresh and delicious) were a footnote to all the offerings. I honestly felt overwhelmed. The cashier said I could choose a fresh baked item - I selected a croissant - and they'd stuff it with sandwich ingredients. I chose chicken salad and it was epic. Generous shreds of chicken in a flavorful dressing that was creamy without tasting like greasy mayo. To top it off, you can choose a "free" bag of gourmet chips off a rack. That treat makes your $9 sandwich reasonably priced. I got it all to go, for lunch later, and picked up a green smoothie to get me through the store. When I walked in Safeway this lady asked, "Did you get that next door? It's so good isn't it?" All of my neighbors have been gatekeeping, while I have been relegated to Subway and Starbucks. Another time, I went to Oasis with my husband and got a breakfast burrito and fresh squeezed OJ, which were so good. We were anticipating an overnight guest from the east coast so we picked up a few black-and-white cookies for dessert and crumb cake to complement our home-cooked breakfast. All were very fresh and tender baked goods; our guest told us she felt so special. Next I'm going to try their deli sandwich since my tendency is drive over a half hour down the hill to Jersey Mike's, thinking I had no choice. These gatekeepers get on my nerves.
