Culver's is THE best fast food chain I frequent, period.I'm not even a fan of everything I've ordered (the cheese steak sandwich didn't do it for me , can't say it was "bad" though.) . Lets start with the Burgers , my burger of choice is the jumbo bacon cheeseburger. This creation is the thing of food related orgasms , I believe I made an audible gasp of Ecstasy when I first bit into one. I've had the cod sandwich , very good . The walleye sandwich , not as good , stick with the cod. The fried chicken , good , not great, I've ordered it several times so it is at least that good. So to sum up ... Oh yeah , THERES CUSTARD TOO! To be objective , my brother isn't a big fan of the custard , screw him , he could live on ramen noodles for a month, he knows nothing! I am a bit partial too the root beer float (house brand root beer anyone?). The caramel cashew sundae is probably the best sundae you could get , as far as I'm concerned. This review could be used for any of the Culver's I've visited , they are very consistent , I've never been to a bad one. This chain started in Wisconsin , judge for yourself the health ramifications of that , but if you only allow yourself 1 burger a year. Never ever been to a Culver's before. I thought they where like Steak and Shake or something. Stopped at the one In Flossmoor, on Cicero ave. about 207Th st. This is the best fast food anywhere! I got the pot roast sandwich. Fucking wicked amazing! They give you free soft drink refills, someone even comes around and asks if you need another refill or anything else. Clean restrooms, no lines, great service. I'm sad they are not in Chicago. If you see one and you're hungry don't hesitate. Gives the finger to McDonald's. read more

This place blows. I live a block away, so when it opened I was excited to try it. Boy was I ever disappointed. Over priced and the portions are small. I only recommend one sandwich, the sourdough burger. Either that or head over to Sonic down the street. Way better food. read more

Culvers rocks. It's the In-n-Out burger of the Midwest but with a larger menu. Great freshly made fast food and delicious frozen custard in immaculately clean restaurants. Now if they'd only build one in Chicago proper, preferably Lincoln Square. read more

I came this afternoon with my elderly sister and wow I was impressed. This girl with the biggest smile something with a V, i didn't get her name but she was so kind and we asked her for help on our coffee and marking our food correctly. Culver's has some of the best burgers around. The custard is awesome as well. The people are also always nice and friendly.

With today's weather in the high 90's, I thought "what better way to cool off" than going to Culver's for ice cream. We walk in and get blasted with HOT air! We order the ice cream and I ask the young man, why is it so hot in here, he replies the air is broken. We go sit at our table. It was so hot in there, you couldn't breath! The girl came to the table with the ice cream, and apologized to me for the ice cream being melted, I asked why it's melted, she replied because it's so hot in here, she said the reason is because the air conditioning is broke. To top it off, I ask for the manager, I told him the problem, he could care less, he said can I make you another one? No I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER MELTED CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM!! Come on! read more

I visit this location often & rarely encounter any problems. On this one particular day I went inside to order the single pretzel burger. The manager (I assumed she was the manager because she had on a different shirt from the other employees) was very snobby & said singles weren't sold & that I can only purchase a double. I told her that I've been to numerous locations & I've always ordered single's & expressed that it was also advertised on the website. (I literally went to a different location a few days before & never encountered this problem). She proceeded to get an attitude and told me the other locations weren't supposed to sale singles... I again told her that I wasn't aware & this was the first location that I've ever experienced this problem with. She rolled her eyes & said she will ring it up a single as a "one time courtesy." I'm not sure if certain sizes are only sold at certain locations but if that's the case the website should definitely be more specific! I'll definitely be going to a different location simply because of this moving forward. read more

We walk in and the cashier greeted us and I automatically told her that I have no idea what to get bc I never ate here before and she smiled and happily explained how the menu is and what each meal comes w! I ordered the double bacon burger w fries and a water and I also got a strawberry milkshake w oreos! My fiancé got a triple bacon burger fries and a banana shake w oreos ! Everything was delicious. Went through the drive through during a quiet time. Restaurant empty, only one other car behind us in the drive through. Waited 15 minutes for a young girl to come out and tell us that they lost our order. HOW DO YOU LOSE AN ORDER?! Waited another for them to remake our order. I went through the drive thru to get out quickly. That did not happen. Other people behind us in the drive thru received their orders immediately. Highly dissatisfied with this experience, our wait , and how the employees handled the situation. Would have appreciated at least a short apology. I've been to this Culver's many times, and it really is a great place. The workers tend to be warm and friendly and their food is absolutely amazing. Their frozen custard is to die for, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves ice cream. The only complaint I have is that it's slightly pricey, but overall, it's a clean place with great food. I come here very rarely, but truly enjoy it when I do. read more
