The chocolate tastes nothing like American chocolate ice cream, the contrast is sharp when you take your first spoonful. Their white chocolate is the only ice cream I've ever tasted that actually tastes like white chocolate. My sister's favorite is the banana fudge, and you can't get her near any other banana ice cream. My absolute favorite, though, is the burnt sugar. Darkly sweet, nuanced, with just the slightest bitterness. Whenever I'm at a Francesca's, it's the first thing I check for on the dessert menu. If I don't see it, I ask just to make sure.
