The staff was so polite, patient, and welcoming, Fantastic customer service! Guava with coffee ice cream combo is a must!!

Horrible service, please save your money and go somewhere else. Extremely rude employees. I'll never go back again.

If you have a food allergy, don't come here. They seem so much in a rush that they don't pay attention to your needs. I ask them before they ran off no cream. And when I saw them put it, I had to yell so they don't put it. She gave me a look and dumped it. Once I get my food, I see the cream still there. I had to give my food to someone else. We even ordered some snacks and saw it was expired. As someone that works in the food industry as well, what I saw was unacceptable at my job. Please be careful coming here. read more

Please get a bigger tip jar! The employees are awesome. They make everything the way you like, they are always quick, and friendly.

The corn tasted old bought two and had throw them out and taste bland too. Barely any mayonnaise more cheese actually. Came before but this is my last time. The service was good. read more

Staff is so friendly! This is a great family oriented business, they have lots a patience & are always clean!

They're good at what they do but the spice in ice cream thing just ain't it for me. It's still worth trying if you're curious. I also did try their regular flavors- pretty good!! read more

I like this location. The people are always nice and they work quick. I usually get the elote which hasn't disappointed yet. It's also nice and clean and its bright in a good way. Thankfully it's just a couple minutes away from where I work so I can come here for lunch. read more

They're very helpful with accommodating special requests (for food) but the staff is (maybe) not familiar with the mask mandate being lifted and gives out masks... I unstated they want to stay "safe" but my husband was very annoyed read more

I love to support small businesses. but the attitude and demeanor the employees have here is beyond me! i never thought ordering for my family would be an issue the way it was today. I had full intentions to tip the young girl taking the order until her annoyed attitude stayed consistent. we will not be going there anymore and will gladly give our big orders and recommendations to a location that treats us with respect and not like we were an inconvenience read more

Excellent ice cream! Very fresh. A giant scoop in a cup will run you about 2.25. Very reasonably priced. Plenty of flavors and the service has always been great here. Better than Dairy Queen. A chain but its more family run than has a corporate touch. Has a Mom & Pop feel to it. Giving 5 stars after going to Plainfield near where I live . Plainfield is good but Franklin park is superior! read more

Couldn't help it but to listen to the older lady talk to her employees in such a rude way. I hope they educate themselves and learn some business ethics. read more

La Michoacana - a cup of coffee with a spoon sticking out of it - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Franklin Park, Illinois

one star is being gracious. Customer service from the young girl there was lacking entirely. she was irritated that we had such a big order but im sorry not sorry, We have a family of 5. Prior to her constant attitude, my girl specifically asked if I had cash so we can tip her well, considering it was a large order. But During our time in there a few things happened that caused the tip to go from $10 to $0. my girls daughter had to use the bathroom. When giving the key back to her she snatched it. When it was time to collect our order, we specifically asked to carry the drinks because it was so much and putting them in a bag didnt seem right. her words with a twist of her little neck "its not gonna fall" fast forward to the car, the drinks fall. all over my shorts all over my car! read more

Very close to the high school so kids are always packing the place and takes forever to order.

New place, such yummy and interesting flavors. All the paletas you could ever want, and awesome tasting ice cream. Mangonadas, dorilocos, diablito raspados, all the super delicious treats one could savor!!! SOOOOO GOOD! And what is the best, the ice cream doesn't taste all heavy and full of fat, it is really fresh! Also the people working there are super nice! This is going to be a problem for me, since we live so close :) read more

La Michoacana - Mangonada= super yums! Mine had half tamarindo/half mango.. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Franklin Park, Illinois

This place was a total bad experience My wife went there for some ice cream for the kids. My youngest daughter asked for an ice cream in the cup but then she changed her mind so we ask for one cone and the lady that was serving her was so nice but the Owner / Lady said "don't you see the sign on the entrance it says no returns which is ok but we we're going to pay for the extra ,but she was screaming " I don't know how this lady treats other customers but this places needs to change their customer service. No way we are going back to this place! read more

Mango ice scream is one of my favorite, I don't know how to says correctly of the word. The chamois is my love after 1st time try. This la michoacana is a small space with a cute color on the decor display right in front of high school. So perfect spot. read more

This is my regular ice cream place. Everything that I have tried has always been very pleasing . The Mexican snacks are as legit as the street vendors have in Mexico. The place is very clean , which is a big plus for me . read more

Not even bad customer service but no customer service. The man working was just angry! No one was in there so u would think he would be happy to see us! Bad!! The ice cream is good but the customer service is a fail. I would rather drive to go to another location. read more

My first time here and I had the fresa con crema and it was pretty decent although the strawberries were not really sweet, it may just be due to the season? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them another try in the near future. I think the location is great (right across the high school) and there is plenty of parking. I'll be back again I'm sure. read more

First time here and I took the kids. Place is new and clean. Ice cream is good. Alot of unique flavors you will not find at 31 flavors and other chain ice cream shops. They also have fresh juices and ice cream bars. I had the pecan caramel and it was good. One of my kids had chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. She said the vanilla tasted like banana and kinda does. Chocolate and strawberry were "great" according to my kids. Only real issue i have is there is no seating for groups. They only have six 2 person tables which was a challenge for me to share with my 2 kids. read more

Excellent ice cream. Funnel cake was fantastic. It was huge...be careful its enough for two people for sure. Would be 5 stars but you can wait depending on day and time. read more

The owners are great people. Hard working at that. Really appreciate the atmosphere and how fast they are to get your order. Have nothing bad to say! Let me add that more than half the time I ask for "one scoop" they give me like three! read more

This is a great little spot, even though it's a michoacana it feels like a mom and pop place. They're always happy to see you and they make the gazpachos and fruit salads fresh, not like other places that keep them prepped in the fridge. It's a good place to grab a snack (or three). Can't wait for the weather to warm up, I'll be making sure my morning run takes me through this place. read more
