I think this is my perfect work space. I appreciate that I could come and sit down and order things at various times at my table via QR code but was able to work here. The space itself is beautiful, the staff explained the options counter versus table when I walked in, and there isn't super loud music making it great to work or study. I had fresh squeezed orange juice which was super reasonably priced, I feel like most places charge around $8 and it was $5. There is a service staff that comes and checks on you and brought water to our table and cleared it off. For food, we split the Reuben. The portion was perfect for 2 for us. I honestly didn't even think I liked Reuben's but my friend wanted it and I would definitely eat this again. We ordered 2 lattes to try, Caramel and pumpkin. We preferred the caramel to be fair I'm more of a cold brew girl (because I don't love milk) but they were out this day. Overall this is a great space. They also offer cocktails but I didn't try one. On Monday, we discovered a hidden gem tucked in the office spaces of the Bond Building on Camelback Road in Phoenix. The exterior yells tax attorney but inside we were welcomed by the modern greenery and natural light as we walked through the corridors. These luxury office spaces have glass walls, high end fixtures and beautiful soaring ceilings. In the middle of this building Mark Tarbell has "cultivated" a gourmet menu of coffees, alcoholic beverages, breakfast and lunch bites. After scanning the QR code on our table top, we placed our orders and paid. The gentleman at the bar was attentive and kindly answered our questions-even my nerdy inquiry about the food items. "Were they prepared prior or at a commissary?" He replied "No. All the food is made fresh on site in the full kitchen just down the hall." While sitting and taking in the pretty skylights, I noticed other patrons working on their laptops in the elevated seating area. Some conversing with others including Mark Tarbell, himself! Am I ever happy that we picked the grilled steak burrito for $19 and the in house made potato chips and dill dip for $8. I loved the generous portion of juicy steak with charred tomatoes, arugula and potatoes. The wild mushrooms and caramelized onion perfected the taste for what was the best beef burrito for me! The potatoes were cubed to a perfect ratio. Not too large where other places have big chunks of the starch that dominates sections of the wrap. Not too shabby was the fresh cooked kennebec potato chips and tasty dip. The chips were a bit greasy but still crisp and the dill dip was tasty. I ordered a cortado with oat milk and it was outstanding. Past experiences at other bistros have left me in doubt when ordering a coffee beverage but I loved my velvety smooth cortado here! Came here for lunch with a friend and fellow Yelper. I had read that Mark Tarbell was opening a new restaurant that is only open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays only. It is located inside the Bond office building directly across the street from Tarbell's. From the outside of the building, it looks very plain, but it really is lovely inside. It is in the lobby of an office building, set apart by wrought iron railings. And lush plants. There is a bar that serves cocktails and coffee in the center, and seating areas in either side. At the end, there is a seating area about three steps up lined with bookshelves. Today, Mark Tarbell himself was in that area sitting with a friend. There is a QR code on each table. Scan the QR code to see the menu and place and pay for your order. The guy at the bar was super helpful answering questions and assuring our orders were received. Our coffee and tea came from the bar in the center, but there is a kitchen somewhere--we couldn't tell where. Someone from the kitchen brought your food out pretty quickly. We decided to share an order of the house-made potato chips and dill dip and the steak burrito (steak, caramelized onion, arugula, quinoa, charred tomato, roasted wild mushroom, Kennebeck potatos). The food was really, really good. I'm not sure if it's was the potatoes or the oil that they were cooked in, but they had a really good flavor. Truly a beautiful and well thought out new space at 32nd St and Camelback! Central atrium is filled with natural light and real greenery. Service has been impeccable both times that I've visited and the food menu continues to grow as Cultivate finds its legs. It really helps that food is provided by Tarbell's, so very few if any mistakes will likely be made in the provisions and selections. Menu is via QR code and you order on your device after scanning the code. Very simple process. Waitstaff brings the food and drink to your table! They also check in to make sure everything is as it should be. Breakfast burrito, avocado toast, chilled rice noodle salad, and crispy boneless chicken strips were all delicious! I had a doctor appointment in the building and thought I'd treat myself to a coffee, such a cute space, with amazing natural light. I ordered a vanilla latte, a little over $6, pretty typical. It wasn't until after I ordered did I see that they use monin coffee syrup and they poured my hot espresso shot straight into the plastic cup (hello microplastics). For such a lux location I would've expected house made syrups, or at least independent brands, and the knowledge to build my drink outside of a plastic cup. There's much better coffee shops in this area, I wouldn't recommend. read more

Had a lunch with five buddies. Fabulous setting! We could all hear each other because the setting is very conducive for conversation! Lunch was superb. The Salmon power bowl, the chicken sandwich, the fries(both types) were excellent. The Noble bread with my salad was a perfect accompaniment. Everyone liked their dishes and said they would return. So after discussing it with my wife we returned the next day and did lunch again! She now a big fan also! read more

Today I drove 100 miles to be in Phoenix for a dental appointment (as well as the return trip after lunch). My reward was a delicious meal served impeccably at Tarbell's Cultivate in the Bond building. The ambiance of place sets the tone for a most enjoyable experience. Meeting the gracious and resourceful Food and Beverage manager Tony Merino wrapped the experience in charm and delight. I enjoyed the Steak Burrito and my lunch companion selected the Chicken Sandwich with fries. The food lives up to any and all hype--delicious only begins to describe the experience. The food needs work so I have lowered this a notch.The lead cook should never had sent the French toast bread pudding out of the kitchen. Besides taking 15 to 20 minutes it came out burnt. The potatoes were fabulous, my companion gave me hers till mine came. Again there is the problem. . So the plate came out and we already had the manager over as the first plate was not acceptable. The second was not either. The pudding was not the same recipe as what they showed in the pictures of their food. Ours was gray and watered. Bacon was both, perfect and burnt. They do not have decaf coffee. So you have to order espresso Decafe and add to regular coffee if you mix.the meals were comped and I thought they had removed the breakfast , coffee included in mine, as like they did my companion but I have a total of four different charges, of which one was done with me in person and removed. I see two charges and then a charge removed for the price of the sandwich. The ambiance is above the expectations. It is so comfortable and quiet. The quality of the furniture is five star. The manager took control pretty fast but I am having a problem with the charges but that has been taken care of. There is no phone number for them on Yelp but Google has one.
