When asked, they'll cook the crust well done, the way I like it. They also make a variety of very cool specialty pies that others in the house gravitate to. I like to order my toppings a la carté, usually pepperoni + roasted red peppers (or pepperoni + mushrooms; or all three). Roasted peppers--not raw--are a must for me. Their sides/appetizers are delicious, too. We get delivery from them, and with very few exceptions it arrives on time or early. Mingaliens has become our go-to pizza place.

This guy is a crook! I went in there for my usual. Spalla's Italian Beef has moved out. This guy who tries to look and act like a chef behind the counter clearly pirated Spalla's business. A yelper said he 'adopted' their menu. Not adopted, the term is pirated. He doesn't know the first thing about a Chicago style hotdog or Italian Beef, which is a Chicago staple. **LATE ENTRY: Within minutes of me posting my review, a Yelper by the name of Brian K sent me an insulting comment, and an equally insulting, exhaustive, and at times, contradictory message. He proceeded to leave a five-star, vague review for the business to counteract my review. So this further proves my point that this guy is a total scam artist and is very defensive about people calling him out for what he did. Brian K claims in his message to me to work 35 hours a week at this business. So if this is not a fake profile of the owner himself, then he has his employees harassing people who give negative Yelp reviews. ** **3/16/18, I received this highly inappropriate and sexually explicit message from a fake profile that clearly comes from either the owner or someone close to the owner. Since the owner is Russian, I find it interesting that he attacks me for being American and for being female. Not a good business plan, Alex. I would rather go to Brookline or all the way out to Springfield for better stuff. So, look at the reviews here on Yelp. This guy gets a little over a dozen reviews over hmmmm, how many years in business? Most of the great reviews were in regards to Spalla's, which was a different business at his location. The rave reviews were not about his food. Now, in the last couple weeks, there are a couple of his buddies that he gets to put positive reviews about the Spalla's products that he is trying to imitate under his business? I don't think so. He was hurting. That's why he rented out the space to begin with. Culinary Delights was a failing business. Then Spalla's comes in and blows him away. They have 170 great Yelp reviews and were featured on Phantom Gourmet. I detect a little jealousy. And this guy wanted to cash in on someone else's hard work and success. Culinary delights is a hidden gem. Alex treats each customer like family. Anyone can customize any sandwich on the menu and if it's not in the menu and he has it, he'll make you whatever you want. Name anywhere else you can get treated to exactly what you want when it's not on the menu. I'll wait. Alex is the epitome of a businessman as he senses what his customers are looking for and he adapts, he's added hotdogs and sandwiches, BBQ, breakfast and so much more. To not visit culinary delights, you are truly missing out on a delicious meal while being treated like Alex has known you for years. I moved to New York at the end of 2017 and have visited as much as I can, I am already planning my next visit to him to have a DELICIOUS panini and Mac and cheese. read more

What little Russian food made is probably still ok, but anyone can make a pork roast with Montreal seasoning. The rest is a plagiarized a concept, menu and recipes of a person who managed and marketed the store, after inviting them in to try to grow their brand; I would give them -0- stars for unprofessionalism. Even the kebabs were copied from another person, and that recipe, like the sandwiches and beef, have been corner-cut and are not the same. That's what you get from a person selling something from a region he's never been to. read more

We were looking for a quick breakfast on the way out of town... I think we've fouund a new Saturday morning activity. We ordered the breakfast burrito (with sausage and bacon) and the sausage breakfast sandwich on a polish bun. They were both out of this world. If you can make it here, you really should. I paid $180 for a five course tasting menu at a restaurant in Cambridge last night, and now I'm thinking that I'd rather have spent all of that money, here. We'll be back soon. read more
