Cheese Pizza
Tommie R.

This is a little hole in the wall pizza place. Very clean and quick service. I ordered pick up and it was done 15 minutes later. The pizza is very cheesy, which is a plus for our household. The kids are obsessed with the cheese pizza and the pepperoni was very balanced. We will definitely be back!

The first time I had this pizza, it was somebody's leftovers and it was DELICIOUS. I'm not a cold pizza person, so I heated it up. The cheese was thick & melty, passed the cheese pull test. The dough is fluffy with a crisp on the outside. The red sauce is slightly sweet - which is personally how I like it . Now, when I ordered again I wasn't in the mood for pizza. So I hopped on yelp and saw people RAVING about the roast beef. And yes i wholeheartedly confirm that this roast beef is RAVE WORTHY. Juicy. Piles of red meat layered on top of each other . The BBQ sauce is tangy and sweet, not spicy which i appreciate. I added a piece of cheese !! (If you want this ASK) The Bread wasn't anything to write home about, but it got the job done and I was more concerned with what was in between it anyways. Overall, 10/10 and would highly recommend to a friend. Also, my brother got a buffalo calzone.. super cheesy. 10/10 on the dough. buffalo sauce was TOO spicy for me .. but that's a me problem. Interested in trying the chicken parm calzone. xoxo

The Very Best Roast Beef period no reason to head to the north shore when the absolute Best Roast Beef is located in Wellsley Ma @ Marks pizza and subs.

Super Roast Beef

Love this place for roast beef sandwiches. Good menu although I've only ever gotten the roast beef. Kind of hidden and there is some free parking right in front of the store.

items if I returned to this restaurant location. I was visiting my family members who live in the apartment complex just up the street. They suggested a local pizza and sub shop that was walking distance from the complex. I decided to walk down to the restaurant and make a to-go order. I almost passed the restaurant as it was adjacent to the Sunoco gas station in the alley. I walked in and stood at the counter for a few seconds and a gentleman came out and greeted me with a smile and a gentleman came out and greeted me with a smile. I placed my order for the two pizzas and asked if it was a thin pizza. Without missing a beat, he says it's Greek pizza, they are always thin crust. Confidence was in his voice. I have had many of the types of pizza and his quick response let me know he was aware of how the pizza is prepared. I thought hmmm, then I'll take one and a vegetable pizza too. Okay, he was overconfident and not prepared to deliver on his ability. The pictures show he was wrong about the thin crust on all of the pizzas!! Unless all of their pizzas are on thin crust as shown in my pictures. The basil was sparlingly sprinkled on top and could not be distinguished from the taste of the pizza. The picture shows two types of tomato toppings used on the pizza. The cheese is the overwhelming main ingredient tasted on this pizza. If I wanted a cheese and tomato pizza....this was a good pizza, 4. This was a failed attempt at this pizza and nothing more than a disappointing 1out of 5 at best for the failed attempt. The vegetable pizza was a 4 score for taste and for visual appeal. You order speciality food you expect to get the specialty food. If you're a restaurant that serves specialty food, you should know how to prepare that special dish and do it right every time or take it off the menu.

Inside area. Plenty of seating.

Cheeseburger sub is amazing. Great staff. And you should also try the broasted chicken.

Food is great, love their pizza and broasted chicken finger plate with honey mustard sauce. Steak and cheese subs are good as well.

Great usually rare roast beef is what I get every time. It's huge and warm. Of coarse 3-way.

Customer service is lacking...terribly! Yes the roast beef is great. One of my many issues is... they don't change the oil in the fryer!!

Great place when it was here - best chicken fingers ever. Now a parking lot so more Wellesley yuppies can get toasted at Papa Razzi. Sad.

There's almost something cozy about a place like this. Knotty P. has all the diner signs: worn counter, people yapping, the waitress taking orders non-stop, booths aren't huge, aisles are tiny (good luck getting to your seat) and the special scrape sound of the large metal spatula touching the steel flattop. If you don't mind sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with the regulars, then the counter is your spot. The only 2 seats available were at the counter and we snagged them. The breakfast potatoes are exactly what you want them to be: crispy-edges and golden- these have a little heat kick- not too much- but just enough to keep you going for another bite. As non-meat eaters, we appreciated how the cook keeps the sausages in their own territory (something is something I guess) from the omelettes, pancakes, etc. Then there's the energy- fast and a little loud in the best way. And right in the middle of it, is Ileana who has that special spark and every beat, timed.

This is definitely a suitable replace for many of us that are too lazy to leave the building for lunch. The service has always been efficient and friendly to me. There is a nice sandwich station with many options. Hot entrees and action items are alright - sometimes it just tastes a little bland. They rotate between classic meat/starch dishes (from meat/potatoes to noodles/meat or rice as starch). The soup and salad station have been variably good. On Thursdays, there is sushi, spring rolls, and seaweed salad (albeit quite pricey for meh sushi). I also recommend using Levelup to pay to save time and earn some credit if you often forget lunch like me. Go here if you have to, but why on earth would you ever go out of your way for it.

Their soups are mediocre at best, and the entrees are typically not worth the cost ($8-12 depending on what is served). The customer service is horrible...everyone stands around taking their time to get to you, completely missing the point of it being a LUNCH break, where time is of the essence. The ONLY thing I've liked here is the sub sandwich shop, and I still question sometimes if the meats are fresh/good. Two words, JUST DON'T!!
