We had a late reservation and started with a glass of red at the bar. The bartender (didn't catch her name) was amazing. She gave us tastings so we could decide what we liked best. Super friendly and attentive! We asked the host Calum, if we could sit at one of the couch tables, and he accommodated us right away with no problem. Our server, Brian from Honduras, was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience even better. To start, we had the Raviolo Fornografia with mozzarella and balsamico and the Shrimp Trapanese with marcona almonds. That stuff was fire. Flavorful, fresh, perfectly seasoned, just on point. Since we weren't super hungry, we shared the Agnolotti with black truffle fonduta. Brian also sent out the Focaccia della Casa with whipped ricotta on the house. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Honestly, no words can do them justice. The ambiance was great, and the music in the restaurant was excellent. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

Alba Cucina delivers a composed and quietly confident interpretation of coastal Italian cuisine -- refined, ingredient-driven, and deeply satisfying. The Tuna Tartare is an elegant opening: pristine in texture, balanced in acidity, and layered with golden (beet) nuance. It signals immediately that the kitchen values restraint and precision. The Prawns drowned in a smoky tomato sauce, paired alongside an orange mezcal cocktail, achieve a thoughtful harmony -- smoke and citrus playing against natural sweetness in a way that feels intentional rather than ornamental. A delicately prepared Fluke highlights technical control -- clean flavors, exact doneness, and clarity of presentation fit for a crudo. The Eggplant Parm is treated with respect, yielding depth without heaviness, while the Truffle Agnolotti offers a luxurious yet measured richness -- silk-textured pasta enveloping an aromatic, well-judged coating. The Hazelnut Inverno Salad provides seasonal contrast -- nutty, structured, and refreshingly composed. The Caponata stands out as particularly memorable, layered with complexity and brightness. Even the Broccoli Rabe feels considered: vibrant, balanced, and precise. The Branzino, generously portioned and expertly cooked, anchors the meal. While the sauce leans slightly assertive- it's a perfect Compliment to the rabe, the quality of the fish remains evident and beautifully executed. Dessert -- a delicate Semolina Cake -- concludes the evening with subtle sweetness and restraint, avoiding excess while satisfying completely. Alba Cucina operates with polish and intention. It is a restaurant that understands proportion, seasonality, and the quiet power of thoughtful execution. A destination for those who appreciate refinement without pretense. A giant thank you to Anna, Colbi, and the rest of the team for making our Valentine's Day, quite memorable, we felt very taken care of. Thank you for the generosity in hospitality.

Good restaurant to go to with a group and get a bunch of things to share. One person did have allergies and the restaurant did a great job accommodating that. Staff was overall very friendly. The ravioli was my favorite. I also liked the eggplant parm and tuna tartare. The fish wasn't my favorite, but I can't remember what kind it was. Maybe halibut?

The ambiance is probably what the hype is more so about. It's quite chic and the wrap around bar makes the an ideal spot to grab drinks. The food is average at best. We had some unique dishes and got recommendations from the staff- this is a must if you want to get dishes that are tasty. We ordered the Alpino & Gentile Negronis, both of which were absolutely delicious. We went for dinner and started with the Fluke Crudo & Charred Octopus. The Fluke Crudo was tasty but could've used a bit more lemon to counter the tartness of the gooseberry. The Charted Octopus was quite unique. It was more herby and dense, but the octopus itself was so soft. For entrees we did Agnolotti- MUST TRY. Probably the best dish of the night & it's vegetarian! We ordered the Chicken Alla Diavola and it was ok. There was no wow factor to it. It was juicy though. The service was shifty. It took a while for our food to come and I presume it's because they want you to build up your appetite, but our Chicken entree did not come for quite some time. The wait staff was great at clearing tables off and asking if you needed anything/getting you extra napkins, more bread for the whipped Foccacia Bread. Frankly would go back for the bread and drinks. Overall 8/10 for dinner service.

Interior is beautiful and there is so much space! Great place to spend a date night. Staff is really friendly as well. Some dishes were really good, some were just okay. Drinks were good though! FOOD: Foccacia Della Casa (9/10) - This was my favorite dish for the night! The foccacia is light and fluffy, and so is the ricotta!! Would've ordered another one of this if I wasn't so full Raviolo Fornografia (7/10) - First few bites were delicious, but it does get slightly fatty / filling. Worth trying Hamachi Crudo (7/10) - Super thin hamachi that was a nice refreshing bite for an appetizer. Agnolotti (8/10) - Really really well cooked pasta. The truffle is so delicious and each bite has the perfect chew. Grilled Porkchop (3/10) - Not sure if this is on the menu anymore, but really dry. Would definitely not order

The ambiance was great and the service above average, however, the food was just okay. We ordered the focaccia bread which was fresh but a little burnt or on darker side. The octopus app was a little too salty but the texture and great taste made up for it. Lastly, the main dishes came out separately, with about 30 mins in between. Really unusual due to kitchen being overwhelmed. I would skip next time.

LOVELY space, beautiful art, felt very lush. Came with a larger group for work and got to sample a lot of the menu. The pastas and steak were very good. Lots of seating inside and outside.

Yum! Cucina Alba is gorgeous. I love the hues of pink that are throughout the restaurant. Beautiful. The real star of the show is the food. We ordered a few appetizers and pastas to share. The Focaccia Della Casa was delicious. The bread so hot and fresh, the whipped ricotta was the perfect compliment. The Shrimp Trapanese was perfectly seasoned. We also enjoyed the Charred Octopus and the accompanying vegetables. For our mains, the pastas were cooked perfectly. Literally still thinking about it. The Agnolotti was to die for. The caramelized onions and truffle combo *chef's kiss*. We also shared the Orecchiette and the table-side presentation was a nice touch. The service was swift and attentive. I told our waitress we were celebrating a birthday and we ended our meal with a a delicious tiramisu. The coffee flavor wasn't overwhelming. I *only* wish the portions were bigger. Must Order Dishes: *Focaccia Della Casa *Shrimp Trapanese *Agnolotti *Orecchiette

Semolina Cake - this was very sweet but yummy!

The vibes in the place are great! The interior design is very well done and it feels like a nice night out when inside. The lighting is a bit dim and you can sit inside or the heated patio. I went here twice in the same week because me and my wife loved the ambiance. However, the food was just ok. There's definitely better out there especially in NYC. Also, portion sizes are small and the dishes are very expensive. But the presentation of the dishes are lovely and may trick the eye into thinking it taste good. The baked raviolis as an appetizer was way too sweet. The balsamic reduction is all you taste. Plus it's very oily. The Tortellini in Rosso sauce lacked seasoning. It tasted like very plain passata tomato puree. And the pasta of the tortellini was too soft, overcooked. The Orecchiette pasta was actually undercooked. It was very chewy and they went a little too hard on the al dente. Our jaws were worked so hard after chewing so hard. The broccolini was actually yummy! The desserts are delicious. One was a ricotta custard type of dessert with fruit on top. Yum! The other is a semolina cake. This was very sweet but it was good. The service was amazing! They really tend to you and make sure you're acknowledged and taken care of. It's a shame the food wasn't as great. Overall I would come here for the vibes. It can accommodate bigger groups with big tables. The ambiance is low light and very luxurious. Come here for drinks and bites but don't expect top tier flavors.

We had such an amazing evening at Cucina Alba! This is my new favorite restaurant and I'm still dreaming about our visit. From the moment you walk in, the stunning design will wow you. It has a retro Palm Springs feel. Just beautiful. There is a heavenly scent wafting through the air like one you'd find at a luxury hotel (reminded me of the Edition). We started with the much raved about whipped ricotta and baked ravioli. Both delicious. Also had the lettuce with avocado and cashew salad which was good. Entrees we loved - the agnolotti pasta with black truffle (light but still rich), cacio e pepe paccheri, and branzino!!! Sides - the eggplant parm a must! So unique and airy with many layers. The pesto zucchini (also a WOW), artichokes, brussel sprouts and butternut squash winners. For dessert we had the salted caramel ice cream, the chocolate cake, and one other item which I can't even recall what it was. Of course all devoured and gone in a flash. Giulia the beverage director came over and suggested Foucher Lebrun Sancerre Le Mont 2023. I could drink this the rest of my life. She was great! The service is phenomenal. Truly outstanding. Our waiter was on his game and dressed in a white suit. Nice touch. Everyone was so attentive and professional. So much attention has been paid to every little detail, from plates to napkins to the food. If you are looking for a special night out or want to impress someone, this is the place to go! Thanks for a great evening!

From the moment we set foot, outstanding dining experience! Liv and Anna greeted us with a smile. Cocktails (vespers) were on point and pasta courses were exceptional!!! Well done! We'll be back!

Beautiful interior, very warm. Octopus and Artichoke were good, as they meet the expectations. Escarole was meh. Monte Bianco described as cauliflower souffle but it's really a dense, heavy cream flan. The opposite, not a fan. Lasagna was really good, crispy on the edges and bottom which I like. Ciuffolotti Trapanese - waiter said it's a pesto and tomato pasta? Couldn't see or taste pesto.. Romanesco side were simple and tasty. Fennel Gratin was heavy.

BEYOND happy with my experience here. This place wasn't on my radar but when a different dinner plan fell through my friend and I ended up here for an awesome meal. I loved everything we got. (Yes, we did mainly get carbs and it was WORTH IT.) Here's what we got and I'd get it all again: - FOCACCIA DELLA CASA with whipped ricotta (still thinking about this... they are coming for you Misi/Lilia!) - CALABRIAN TUNA TARTARE (fun, a bit different with the beets to mix into this, not spicy like I thought but still enjoyed it) - INVERNO salad (radicchio, hazelnuts, dates) a bit bitter (from the radicchio) but playfully sweet from the dates. I loved this and it was dressed perfectly IMO - AGNOLOTTI with black truffle fonduta (so so so good, pillows of soft delicious melt in your mouth flavor) - White Tiramisu (good but a bit overly sweet for my taste, if I had to kick anything to the curb it would be this) - Semolina pudding (tart?) very unique dessert, a hint of sweetness that mostly comes from the fruit on top. Crunchy from outer shell, Portuguese egg tart-ish consistency of the filling. Loved my glass of red wine with everything and service was overly kind and helpful with choosing all of the delicious plates. A standout job here!

I was able to make a reservation about a couple of months ago. I think it's one of those popular restaurants that's nearly impossible to get a reservation.

The menu has plenty of variety across pastas, seafood, and cocktails, with some unique dishes that made the experience memorable. The drinks were a highlight, and the seafood options stood out the most for me. My Tipsy Tayke: The Fragola Fizz was juicy, fruity, and refreshing. The Forever Summer was another standout, with the smokiness of the mezcal blending really well with the fruit flavors without overpowering them. Both are easy recommendations depending on whether you want something fruity or a little more complex. My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Seafood Ravioli Unique, flavorful, and packed with different seafood flavors. The ravioli itself was delicate and had a tendency to fall apart, but the flavor made up for it. Standout: Calamari Crispy, seasoned, and enjoyable. It had a slightly chewy texture, but I still found myself going back for more. The Carpaccio wasn't necessarily for me texture-wise, but I really enjoyed the greens and dressing that accompanied it. The garnish felt intentional and helped bring the dish together. The Pappardelle came with plenty of sauce but could have used more flavor overall. The complimentary bread was also tougher and chewier than I prefer. Desserts: The Lemon Sorbet was easily my favorite dessert. Bright, refreshing, and packed with real lemon flavor. The Mango Sorbet was another refreshing option with a smooth tropical sweetness. The Panna Cotta Cheesecake leaned closer to a mousse in texture and was definitely on the sweeter side. I especially enjoyed it with the cherry, which helped balance everything out. Service: Warm and attentive throughout the meal, fitting the inviting atmosphere. Plates From My Visit: Calamari Carpaccio Seafood Ravioli Pappardelle Lemon Sorbet Mango Sorbet Panna Cotta Cheesecake Fragola Fizz Forever Summer In Conclusion: A warm Chelsea Italian spot with strong cocktails, unique seafood dishes, and refreshing desserts. The Seafood Ravioli was the highlight of the savory side, but whatever you do, save room for that Lemon Sorbet. Stamped by Elajas

When we entered the restaurant and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were delighted to find free wine provided for us to pour in the elevator. Admittedly, it was red wine, so not my favorite, and it did taste cheap, but still appreciated. To start off, we ordered the onion torta, focaccia, and smashed potatoes. The onion torta was surprisingly good and tasted like a form of french onion soup. As a focaccia enthusiast, the focaccia was fluffy and delicious. We also got the charred beans, carrots, ravioli, tagliatelle, ravioli, and trout to share. The charred beans were surprisingly the long beans and not the smaller ones we expected. However, they were very juicy and better than we thought they would be. The rigatoni resembled cacio e pepe with its pepperiness, the tagliatelle tasted like standard red sauce, but i did enjoy the ravioli and the ricotta inside. For dessert, we had the basque cheesecake which was alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake. Overall, we had a great time at Ci Siamo and I would definitely recommend ordering the focaccia and onion torta and we could have skipped the carrots, beans, trout, and tagliatelle.

Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess. We had to request the bill from the manager & paid at the hostess stand. Before paying, I spoke with the manager and explained what had occured. He was more professional than the server, but he was still dismissive of my concerns and of the service we received. Management seemed happy enough to promote the "option". The food was okay, definitely not enough to make up for the poor service and handling of a serious dietary issue. Needless to say I will not be returning.

The interior was completely packed, and the noise level was high enough for my smart watch to complain. To sample a bit of everything, we shared two orders of focaccia, four pastas, and one dessert. HOUSE-MADE FOCACCIA - 10 Super bouncy with a bit of chew, this was probably the best focaccia I've ever eaten. It came generously drizzled with olive oil and alongside chopped peppers drenched in even more olive oil, which added a nice little kick. We highly recommend starting with this. TAGLIATELLE - 27 Out of the four pastas, this was my absolute favorite. I love the thin yet chewy texture of the tagliatelle, and the bolognese sauce was rich and hearty. Finished with just the right amount of Parmigiano, both the pasta texture and sauce were sheer perfection. PICI 'CACIO E PEPE' - 23 This was such a simple pasta, yet so delicious. It was incredibly creamy and cheesy, with hints of fresh black pepper flavor that blew standard at-home black pepper grinders out of the water. Despite it being the simplest pasta of the night, I enjoyed it immensely. RIGATONI - 32 This pasta was simple yet slightly innovative, featuring sausage paired with a broccoli-based pesto. There was a slight bitterness that was polarizing among our group. While this wasn't my favorite pasta, I appreciated the creativity. PERCIATELLI NERO - 35 This dish packed in more components than just pasta and sauce: plenty of crab, tomatoes, and crispy breadcrumbs on top. However, the combination wasn't very memorable. None of the flavors really stood out, and it was my least favorite pasta of the night. OLIVE OIL CAKE - 14 Served with a pile of golden raisins and fancy whipped cream, this ended up being a bit of a miss. The raisins were a bit too sweet, and the cake's texture was uneven -- some bites were soft and moist, while others felt dry. A couple of others in my group also felt the same way. Overall, I'd give L'Artusi a 4.5/5; it was mostly hits with a couple of misses. The pasta portions are quite small. Since each dish is primarily carbs and sauce, I'd imagine you'll likely need an appetizer or a pasta and a half to leave full. Still, I'd definitely come back for the focaccia, tagliatelle, and the cacio e pepe.

It's obvious they use quality ingredients and the kitchen is technically very sound. The pasta in particular was cooked perfectly. Everything we had was good and well executed, but nothing really jumped out at me or felt especially memorable. There are several places around the city that I feel can deliver a similar meal and experience without quite as much hype. That's not to say I didn't enjoy L'Artusi, because I absolutely did. It just didn't separate itself from some of the other really good Italian restaurants I've visited. Service was great, the atmosphere was nice, and overall we had a very enjoyable dinner. Just one where my expectations may have been a little higher than the experience delivered.
