Haha! I was so confused trying to find this place but realized its not a Uhaul store or storage…read morelocation, but a Sunoco station that also has Uhaul renting capabilities! I had to really drive by, stop and look to find the rentable orange dollys and other Uhaul equipment stacked outside the tiny convenience store door to realize this was actually the place.They have SOME of the boxes and packing supplies you can buy from UHAUL, but they do have all the sizes. The gas station seems to be managed by only one employee at a time. Meanting when the attendant had to stop and service the gas station customers in the middle of me trying to rent a van, I was only mildly annoyed. Hey there's only one guy to complain to as well! At first my card ( for no explainable reason at all) was getting declined when trying to rent a 26-foot van. we repeated the rental application process 3 different times before I gave up and was going to go yell at my bank. I was almost at my car when he came out and got me and said I could pay cash, his manager said so. Yay! I used the ATM and gave him cash and they still took the card number down for damages etc. But in no time I was up and out in my van! Even though i wanted to return it at the same location, my situation changed and I had to return it elsewhere and later in the day. I expected to have to pay for an additional day but to my surprise it was all set! I could tell they really appreciated the business.

Once from Boston to Northern New Jersey (Spring 2015) and then again from Northern NJ to Western Massachusetts (late Spring 2018). In both moves The Other Guys has been nothing but efficient, cost-effective, kind, helpful, caring, and flexible. Jane in the office rocks! Their email response time is second to none. Plus, she fields and fielded so many last moment changes in the move from Boston to NJ, she deserves a medal. I recently needed additional documentation to have my employer cove some costs and all materials were sent over immediately, even though my move was a while ago. In the most recent Northern NJ to Western MA, happened very fast and had a tight timeline. Julius and his team were able to help. I did not think they would even be interested in a move that required them to start in NJ, but thankfully, they were. Their quote was spot on and thorough, included toll estimates, mileage, materials, time, and more. Many other companies left out tolls and materials fees. Plus, it was much cheaper than some options in NJ (those NJ movers were BANANAS). They kept me updated the way down to NJ and throughout the drive north. When we got to the final destination in Western Mass, Julius made sure we saw the scratches on the hardwood, right under where we were placing our bed, left by previous tenants to ensure our landlord did not charge us. Each move, I had nothing damaged and everything was handled with great care and respect. I cannot recommend this company enough.

If you are using RARE for moving, I found them fine. BUT, since we were moving out of state we…read morethought it was a good idea to store our items with them until we found a home in our new state. The actual move was fine. Nothing broken, the guys were on time and very professional. However, a third of the items we stored with them were lost and never to be seen again. My sister also using RARE made the same move at the same time and again, about a 1/3rd of her items were missing and never to been seen again. Kamaul paid us for our missing items, but that is not the point you want your stuff, or you would have never packed and stored them and oh yes, paid for storage monthly which there was no deduction for lost items. Also, it is very hard to figure out all the items that are missing until you go to reach for an item you need, and it's gone months later. I am still finding things that are missing that I had not thought to put on the reimbursement list. Soooo, if you are using them to move, ok DON'T STORE ANYTHING. Keep in mind that many items cannot really be replaced. They have sentimental value, they mean a lot to you or you would not have packed stored and intended to have them in your new home. JUST DON'T STORE ANYTHING WITH THEM IF YOU WANT IT. You are better off having it moved and put into storage in your new city. Good luck with your move.

I am storing my beautiful RV in their back parking area which is paved and well lit. I have only stored her in a covered heated garage in the past,so I am nervous about outside storage. Now that I am feeling more confident that I have this great storage spot. And December rent is free! The manager is very helpful and organized as well! We had to keep his stuff in storage for 3 months. The facility is outside of the City limits and easy to get to. Its a very quiet location and very large in size. Cost was reasonable, and much cheaper than the city competition. Has plenty of carts to move your stuff into an elevator. Has great pull-in garage area for unloading. Staff was very friendly and all transaction management is web based. A1 in my book.
