They were simply fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient. They were super helpful and made the whole process easy. The place is really clean, you can drive up to the upper level, and they even have loaner gear to help you move. We had to pay for her locker for over year waiting on the courts, set up a second locker to move the stuff from her apartment to the locker, then close out her old locker and move the stuff, then come back months later to move out. We got to know them for sue lol I cannot recommend this place enough

I called to pay it but they wouldn't take it over the phone. I thought it was on autopay but it wasn't. After charging me the late fee i called to ask them to send me a link to pay it. the woman who answered said , "i can take that over the phone". this was after being told they could not take it over the phone. when i ask to speak to corporate they refuse to give me a number or contact for corporate. wonder why i give them a bad review? the customer service is terrible. they don't try to accommodate the paying customer in any way. last fall i gave up a unit. i thought i gave them notice, but i evidently didn't follow their exact rules. i moved out and swept the room vlean and then was told i had to pay another months rent. they could have told me that up front. so, since i was paying for the room, i left two chairs in it and locked it back up. one guy got angry with me for leaving two chairs in a room that i was paying for. i have asked multiple times for the number for corporate or a contact at corporate. they refuse to give it to me and it can't be found on line.

The girl was so nice to us, so definitely praise to her I would like everyone to know that the space and the place to load your stuff is not very convenient, also parking is kind of limited which makes it a little harder to load your stuff, but overall, for the price, a really good deal for storage!

Jenny was rude, not solutions-oriented and unpleasant to deal with…read more Picture this: a customer shows up as instructed to by Extra Space for a move-out, with a cross-country moving company and is told that the Extra Space "policies" somehow forbid that *longtime paying customer* to move out of their own storage unit. What you would expect from customer service: 1) Customer is told they are forbid from moving out due to certain policies despite being there with ID and movers 2) Customer is apologized to for the inconvenience 3) Employee works to find them a solution immediately to get the move on the road How customer service is here: 1) Customer shows up to move out but told they can't move out due to policy 2) Jenny (employee) acts annoyed, is disrespectful and mean, and tells customer there's no solution but to do the move another day 3) Customer tells her to call her GM 4) When told to call her GM she says "but they might not even pick up", like its a hassle to even call (girl! you have movers and a customer expecting to move out right in front of you - what!!!) 5) All parties involved wait for an hour when they are finally allowed to do the move Jenny: If you don't know the solution for a problem, then you need to call your GM immediately and find one, given legitimized circumstances - you have your customer at a physical location showing ID, you have the movers and an authorized user at the unit showing ID and the customer has ordered the move. It's clear there is no sketchy situation going on and customer wants the move. This poor customer service would be understandable in the case Jenny was protecting the unit from theft, but when ID's were given that wasn't a possible circumstance, and the poor customer service became inexcusable. For every problem, there is a solution - and that is a foundation to customer service. We had called Extra Space (exact location) 4-5 times to confirm this would go seamlessly. The customer service was great, everyone we spoke to was kind. We were told what we needed to do for our move to work out and we executed. Unfortunately despite receiving clarity and triple checking, day-of we were met by Jenny who kept telling us we couldn't do the move and there was no solution. Finally, after an hour we were able to do the move - but when we asked which floor our unit was on, we were told they couldn't tell us - even after ID's were shown, we knew our unit # etc. So, 1) Amazing customer service outside of Jenny, we spoke to multiple people there. 2) Amazing GM, thank you so so much for helping us out. But 3) Please place an emphasis on customer service training because this was not it and inconvenienced MANY MANY people, while putting a move on the line. Customer service does not mean being combative with the customer, unprovoked, when *YOU* have inconvenienced them. Customer service means working on finding a solution because you inconvenienced your customer and taking accountability. Customer service does not mean gaslighting your customer saying "no one could have told you those moveout instructions" when we were careful to take notes of our phone calls to ensure a seamless move. And before you say "we don't have you as ever being a customer" - This move was for my boyfriend. And before you say "he only called us twice" - I called you more than that. Leaving this review at 2 stars, .5 star for Jenny for finally calling her GM after *asked to* and a 1.5 star boost for the GM who carried the whole Extra Space team. I won't go as far as to say not to use this facility, because I know the other workers were polite to us, and the GM found us a solution and cares about this facility - but I would be hesitant to use this facility if you expect all around kindness, true customer service, and ease with move-out. Then again, Jenny could learn from this situation and maybe we prevented you the hassle we were met with by going through this. For storage-only purposes, we recommend Extra Space - our things and unit was super safe. Again, thank you so much to those who made our move happen and those who were kind during this experience.

Woman at the front desk is one of the rudest people I've ever met. She's pretends to be nice until you sign that contract. We've been responsible, reliable, respectful customers for a few months now -- paying thousands of dollars. And we've never expected much -- but now it just feels like we paying to endure her drama. She is usually sitting at the front desk looking miserable or on her phone ignoring you, and if you dare to try and speak to her, she will act like you're the stupidest person alive. In the last few days, things have gotten even more absurd. She seems to be having some type of meltdown, as she screamed at me the other day, and again today, completely unprovoked. This isn't even including all the other issues we've had over the pass few months: they're supposed to open at 9am (Mon-Sat), multiple times I've shown up and had to wait over an hour for her while she lazily strolls in whenever she feels like without apology or hurry, usually 10am or later. Spills on the floor are a frequent tripping hazard. I've seen rats and other pests. They don't always seem to keep it climate controlled. It looks like there is mold issue inside as well. We've already tried to raise concerns with management, they didn't seem motivated to do much of anything. After talking to other customers (and finding the real reviews, not the fakes they've posted), it seems these have been ongoing issues for a long time, and they have NO INTENTION OF IMPROVING. We will be closing our account with this business within the next few days. TL;DR Don't go. Save your money, and your precious time and energy. Their competitors are right across the street and seem lovely.
