Amenities: clean but only have 3 medium trollies available and every time I've gone theyve been in use and I had to wait to use it or ppl waiting for me to finish so they can use Staff: counter staff very helpful and nice. Price: cheapest option I found but not worth hassle Location: always traffic to get to via highway if you don't live close by (5 min away) i lived 9 miles and always took me 20-30 min to get there by car Further issues: I have rented two spaces at this facility. I was charged twice in one month for the first (even though they are skipping a month what if i didn't have the funds for them to auto debit that amount twice?). The other unit has a sliding broken door not allowing me to get into unit and organize bc door slides down and you are left in the dark as there are no lights. I have been calling for 2 weeks and getting the run around from customer service and the facility manager. I have left 2 messages on the managers phone to schedule a time for maintainance and the call was returned once during my working hours proposing the same thing i had been asking for for over a week instead of calling back with a time. I had asked to be texted and called with a message on a time that works and have recieved no call back. I am paying for a unit that is pretty much useless if i can't get in there and organize and get the things I need out. They keep saying there is no note on my account and have to explain the situation again every time i call customer service. They also claim they can't do anything, that i have to deal with management but they are non responsive. At this point i want a months refund and doubt they will comply to that. Advice: pay a little more and rent at a place with reliable and responsive management read more

The staff was accommodating and helpful and Wayneca went out of her way to show me around She left her comfy air conditioned space to walk with me so she could point out the truck access.She made everything very easy . When you're moving from a coop apartment (that's closed) to a house (waiting to close) and you need to store your stuff for several months, using Public Storage was the obvious choice. Eventhough this location is not a 24/7 storage facility, it was safe and conveniently located near by old and new homes. During my three months using Public Storage (Spring/Summer 2008), I have no complaints other than noting that their parking/loading area is small. The storage rates were very reasonable with the first month free of charge. The customer service representative were also very helpful. If there was ever a time to move again or a need to store stuff, I'd definitely consider using Public Storage again. read more

I must say the new management team in this facility are great the first time I used the bathroom there the paper towel holder was on the floor it was filthy there is no toilet paper and barely any hand soap now not only has all that been corrected the even have toilet seat covers and equally as important they've installed motion sensors to turn the lights on when you get off the elevator which one out there before you used to have to walk down a dark long hallway before the lights would come on. We got really lucky to connect with Danzi and Clint. We're doi a cross-country move and hasn't totally figured out where we were going to store our extra stuff as we downsized coming to NYC. Picked this location on a summer Friday to get there that night. With major traffic, we missed the actual closing time but they stayed late since we called and got us hooked up. It is the cheapest spot I'm the city, safe, clean and the people are nice. My only objections are that they only have four trolleys you can use (it's a storage facility people--what a weird and inconvenient thing to skimp on). And since you have to go when the office is open, I don't think it will be super convenient to pick things up, like stop to pick up winter clothes. But you don't do that often, so it's definitely worth the price break. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but this place deserved it. A friendly woman named Chastity helped me out to move my things into storage in under a half hour. I was in a rush and I had a cab driver waiting for me, and she did her best to accomodate me. Chastity made everything clear so that I knew what I was getting. The fee for the lock was $20 and insurance was aaround $11, and there was a sign up fee of $24 dollars and $1 for the first month. read more

Safe, clean environment to store my property. Never had any issues removing or adding new items. The staff were always very helpful. I no longer needed the space that I rented and the exiting process was very simple. As long as the unit was empty and the lock was removed they closed my account. I look forward to using this storage facility the next time I need extra storage space. read more

Have minimal contact with staff as pay online, but recently had to contact office to resolve a critical issue. Spoke to RAVNI who was very courteous, patient and helpful in the resolution of the problem. Have found staff here to be great on occasions that interacted. PRO 1. courteous and helpful staff 2. clean environment 3. easy access via public transport if don't drive CON 1. no late access to unit, while late access is available at their other properties, e.g, LI 2. rent is increased yearly and late fee is very high compared to other storage companies 3. staff turn over high...either PS is not treating their staff well so they leave, or they just want the "revolving door" at this property read more

We travelled to New York from Virginia for a couple days to downsize our storage. We hadn't been down there in a while so we had forgotten exactly how much stuff we had in there. It took us about a couple hours to decide on what we were keeping and what we wanted to donate, and it turns out we were donating more than we were keeping. We ended up with about 6 bags of donations and some that we were tossing as they had been in there for roughly 12 yers and weren't in the best of conditions anymore. In the past we had been able to just toss them in the dumpster on site at the storage, though policy had changed and we were required to take everything we weren't leaving in the storage with us. That proved to be impossible as we didn't have a car and couldn't lug all of those bags with us on public transportation, so we had to pack up said trash and donations back into the storage unit with the decision in mind that they might have to be left in there until we could figure out how to transport them. We were told that the nearest dumpster was about a 5-6 minute walk from there which was easier said than done especially when you could see your breath as you walked. While we contemplated our next move we decided to go back and see if we could just move our things into a smaller storage that way we would also have a lower monthly payment. Once we arrived back we learned that the manager at the location Camille had been trying to contact us and let us know that in all of our luck a lady with a storage on the same level as ours was collecting donations for a clothing drive and with us in mind we were immediately recommended to the lady. Unfortunately she had just left when we gave her a call and wouldn't be back until about an hour, but our hotel was about an hour away in Long Island so we really didn't have the pleasure of leaving and coming back, though with another stroke of luck she said she would turn around and come back to collect our donations. With that in mind we went back down to our storage unit again and started separating the donations from what we were keeping. After getting rid of all the donations we went back to follow up on the cheaper storage and found out that there was only one left. I don't know what stroke of luck we were having that day, maybe we should've went to Vegas and played the slots or something but we managed to snag that last one and transferred our things into it all in that same day. As exhausting as the travel from 7am to get there from the hotel was to all the heavy lifting we did, thanks to Camille being so helpful (since she could've just forgotten all about us or wrote us off as not being her problem) we managed to solve a problem that we had been dreading to deal with for years. Now we've completely downsized and have a cheaper storage, we couldn't have asked for anything more. read more
