Do not store your belongings here. Our unit was broken into in August 2025 along with several others. According to HPD, thieves were able to spend five days inside the facility because CubeSmart has NO SECURITY. They have a gate with a keypad but it is broken all the time. We were out of the country when it happened, and the staff offered no real help. They called only to say our lock was missing, but refused to open the unit or provide photos. Instead, they placed a temporary lock and insisted we return in person. When we finally arrived, they removed their lock without even checking our IDs -- anyone could have walked in. This facility is unsafe, poorly managed, and completely lacking in security. Store your belongings elsewhere. read more

Awful company. They advertise a 10x15 unit as $165 a month yet the price of my unit has gone up AGAIN $500. They're crooks. The cost of being a good customer is they make you pay more and more. This place is HORRIBLE! There have been at least two break-ins since we started storing our stuff here. Other people's units were vandalized and robbed. Management has never notified us when there have been break-ins. We found out by chance when we went to access our own unit and saw the damage and other people looking through their stuff to see what was stolen. The main gate is usually wide open so anyone can enter. So the sense of safety that your stuff is in a secure storage unit is false. This last time going in to get some things, the main gate was broken and couldn't be used to enter or exit. The other gate is only an entrance so when it came time to leave you have to run out the pedestrian gate, plug in your code to open the vehicle gate and then run back to your car to pull it through the gate before it closes. Additionally, the upper level where our storage unit is located is very warm in the middle of 70 degree April. The bottom floor feels great. I get that heat rises but it's an incredible difference in temperature between the two floors. This is super lame considering this is supposed to be a temperature controlled storage facility. We would move our stuff to another unit but we travel out of state for work and aren't in town long enough to make the move yet. read more

Before being cube smart, it was storage west. When it was storage west, management was helpful, considerate, and available. Unfortunately, once cube smart took over the platform carts were never available, rarely saw anyone in the office for assistance, besides the price hike, the manager neglected to tell me that I would not receive credit on a new unit once I closed the current unit ( I had just paid a full month on current unit. And then was charged full price for a new unit with no credit. I found that to be pretty crappy for the company to pull on loyal clients. Management wasn't useful at all. I closed out of that place as soon as I could. read more

I switched from a Storage West unit to a unit at this CubeSmart and my experience has been all but great. I initially switched to be slightly closer to my home and roughly $30 less monthly. Let me say: you get what you pay for. I don't know if all CubeSmart locations are as bad as this one, but one of the gates doesn't open, the customer service made my spouse's jaw drop (he was VERY rude), and the code I was given to open the gate didn't work for about a week. The employee was giving me attitude like it was my fault that the gate code wasn't working. To top it all off, I tried to log in to pay my payment that is due today, and it said incorrect email or password. I clicked forgot password and it said enter your email address. I enter my email address and it said email address not found. It's now asking me to re-register my account with an account number. I do not know what my account number is, but now I can't make my payment until I call the location and I do not get off of work until 5PM, which also happens to be the time their office closes. You know what this means? I won't be able to pay on time and I'm almost positive that I WILL be the one penalized for the late payment. Way to go CubeSmart! What a user-friendly experience! The only reason my review is as high as 2 stars is because of the price being as low as it is. This location, if not the entire company, seems to be a steaming pile of garbage. David was absolutely amazing, helping me with my move from Colorado to Henderson. He was helpful in determining what size unit to rent for the contents of my truck and the size was absolutely perfect. Due to a family emergency I was not able to meet my Penske truck when the driver arrived at CubeSmart on Horizon Ridge Parkway. David helped me with a referral for unloading help and was so understanding and so kind and so helpful with the entire storage unit rental process and unloading help. He deserves a raise for sure! And I was so impressed with his kindness and professionalism. David made the whole process from start to finish easy and stress-free. read more

Will have the office closed more than open during regular business hours Will have their management staff assault you over any inconvenience that interrupts their 9-5 YouTube video watch session. Didn't want to waste the cops time dealing with somebody like him and was definitely running out out time to deal with moving out so I let it slide. Went in today 5/12 to close out and there was a random lock on it without advising me or letting me know before I showed up with my movers. Had to wait a whole hour for the "manager" to finally appear and go back to work and when I asked a question on why he felt attacked and decided to close the door on my foot. So unprofessional. Only creepy old men mad at their life working here so not recommend. Out of the 3 times I HAD to come in all 3 times resulted in a shit show. read more

I called to make a reservation for a storage unit. I told them NO TEXT MESSAGES. The messages started rolling in. Some one has access to check my messages online and that's why I was ADAMANT no texts. I panicked and typed "stop." I've called the corporate office 4x to ask for a text message "previous texts sent in error." They refuse. I called the manager David, and basically begged him. I pissed him off and has refused. I'm not safe now. They never had permission to text me in the first place. I've explained the situation and was told to delete them from my phone. He checks them online so, I'm just in trouble. I don't understand David's reluctance to simply put my phone number back into the system and sent a text message. Perhaps has never been in fear for his safety. Corporate has no interest in helping me either. I wish someone would help me. read more

This is my continued eating on Cube Smart Storage...in regards to the "so called" Insurance policy. They demand you have insurance, if you dont have any renters or your own...outside policy. He give you a "Third Party" one . The fee is $15 -19 dollars extra. DONT USE IT. Too many loopholes to not pay out. I've researched this plenty the last week!!!. K Look up: Snap'n'Sure.net. Today I was here to rent a storage and a little man with a patch on his eye was very rudely yelling at the staff and saying he was the ceo of mgm !(I doubt it!) The manager was so patient with him and worked on trying to resolve his problem! You rent a truck and return it... I'm happy to rent here and hope that little man with the patch on his eye never comes back to abuse these hard working people! read more

I bought packing supplies from this store in November. I was not sure how much I needed, and asked if I could return any unopened, unused supplies. The response was that I could. Two days later I returned the supplies, and was told that the refund would come as a "check from the corporate offices". Well, needless to say it is now march and I never received the checks. After At least 5 calls with the district manager and store manager trying to fix this, I still have not received my refund. DO NOT GO HERE! They are rip off artists. read more

Thankfully I carry it already otherwise it would have been and additional $12 per month! I used this place last year for Penske pick up and it was fine. Used it again this year and it is a total joke. Truck was very late, employee lied about timetable for late arrival, didn't call about it being late, and wasted a lot of time and money as I was paying movers to stand around waiting for a problem of CubeSmart's creation. When I first walked in I noticed how clean and organized the office was. I was greeted with smiles by both employees who where happy to help with all my questions. I was comforted by the security they have on property which was great! During the walk through I saw how clean the walkways and units are. BEWARE of this company's business practices!! I'm giving CubeSmart two stars instead of one only because it's been a decent place to store our stuff for the last two years. However, what they pulled on us should not be tolerated! We have our account set up for automatic payment through a Visa card, and this has been the case for two years. In the month of August we were out of town. When we returned, we discovered that our August payment had not gone through because the Visa card number had not been updated In their system. I was unaware that it had lapsed. And we had been charged a hefty late fee as a consequence. I asked why no one had contacted us, as we would have quickly given them the current number. They have both our land line and my husband's cell number as contacts. They said that they only called our land line. When asked why they didn't try the secondary contact number, they replied that they ONLY used the second number in case of an emergency! Like if they were going to close our unit and throw out our stuff, or if there was damage to the unit!! What is the point of having two numbers for contacts if they are only going to use one of them!! By not contacting us, when we were readily available by cell phone, they were able to say we were in arrears and slap on a late fee! When I protested, they told me that it was a corporate policy and there was nothing they could do. When I asked for the name of someone at corporate I could call, they obliged, but I have tried numerous times and only get voice mail, and no return call. This is BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, not to mention unethical, as far as I'm concerned..... read more

Absolutely zero customer service!. My trailer was at this location for two months and twice it was vandalized. Asked about cameras but they did not have any facing our location. On top of that, I was advised by the Manager that at night she did not like walking the property. The final straw is they are still charging my card even though I canceled the Auto Pay.
