I appreciate that level of security and service. Sometimes there is a wait in the office since there's normally only one person, but again, were so friendly! My contract says the next payment would be the agreed upon rate due on April 1st. On April 1st I noticed I was charged $34 more than my contracted rate. When I called management Ronnie (new property Mngr) stated that there was a new price increase!! You can't use change, which severely limits most. If you do happen to trust this random company to not charge you $50 for a simple thing of laundry, then you will find another problem. The chip scanner and the QR code on the washing and drying machines do not work, so you are tasked with the drawn out process of finding a way to download their app. Once you spend those 10 mins downloading this app, it requires you to jump through many hurdles just to connect to your specific location (you have to run around the laundromat searching for their specific code - it serves ABSOLUTELY no purpose as if the app builders had any sense they would have just used a "add current location" feature since this allows you to automatically insert your current location like most apps do. 2. Now you must search around the app for a way to input your card information.. once you do - you'll end up going through the service selection (do you want a large load? cold? hot? and so on). But guess what? Now it says "must use preloaded balance" Preloaded balance? I guess they want me to charge it to some weird in app card like some restaurant apps let you do in order to use the balance later. Nope, can't find any such feature. 3. To make things even worse, the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude. She rolled her eyes at me and made me feel as if I was an annoyance just because the laundromat was so difficult. I'm unusually competent with technology as I grew up using a PC as a toddler, yet all these issues left me baffled. It's one thing to have a shitty business, it's another thing to mistreat your customers. I give it a year or so before they go bankrupt considering it is a pretty new business. I don't know how this business is still around, there were too many things wrong with this business that I just gave up and left. I was confused by a couple who had came in while I was unloading, as they stood there confused whilst talking to each other - then they proceeded to leave, now I understand.

Not sure who the new owners are but the woman that runs this facility needs lessons in customer service. I have had a few issues with her but the most recent was Feb 2024. I had fraud on my bank account and my bank froze my account. They reopened a new account and wrote a letter to my creditors so that I would not be held accountable for late fees and such. I called A1 mini storage to advise of my issue and the gentleman that I spoke with advised to send a check when I got my new ones in and to send the letter as well. Which is what I did. The woman at the facility called me and asked about the payment and I advised that I had just sent it in along with the letter. I advised what the gentleman had said, she started raising her voice and advised this was not her problem, that I needed to pay the $25 late fee. I told her that in all my years I had never experienced the lack of customer service that I have from her. She just started yelling. I really think she has a mental problem because I didn't see a reason for her to carry on the way she was. She was screaming at me and I couldn't say a word so I hung up on her. The times before I just assumed she was having a bad day but this is not an excuse. Needless to say I paid the late fee and am NO longer a customer. I will never advise for anyone to rent from these folks and I hope that many more will go elsewhere. Too many rental facilities in the same area to be treated this way. But Not knowing the time needed for repairs I needed an accessible and safe space. Especially because repair supplies were non existent in the Houston area. I went to see Pam &Tom Knight at the Stuebner airline Self Storage area. Everyone was professional clearly understood and helpful. I can recommend this storage area (14929 Stebner Airline) and the staff as an excellent source. Great selection space and packing materials & understanding.
