The facility itself is nice. Two garage bays where you can bring your car to unload, and several carts to use. The unit itself is just fine, and we also got one month free. The monthly fee is the best value we found, and combined with the great service, it was a no brainer. I also appreciated that one of the managers (I think James was his name) came to introduce himself during his lunch break when I came to visit the unit for the first time. All around, I would highly recommend Extra Space Storage.

He welcomed us warmly, had this very cool and reassuring way about him possessing a quiet confidence and great listening skills as he assessed our needs and was spot on in recommending and efficiently calculating the perfectly sized spaces to accommodate everything. He was very thorough and got us better rates than storage facilities in Glen Head and Syosset. What we received- 15 hour daily access to a clean, easy to enter, convenient, well lighted and well organized, safe facility with carts always available and ample parking spots. An app that is great and updated so we can open gates and doors using our cell phone as well as making payments in seconds. Above all, peace of mind! I work at a dental office and we did a purge of charts dating back to the 90's. We had about 14…read moreboxes of charts that needed to be shredded. I called national archives and spoke to Brad who gave me an estimate over the phone. I was shocked at how reasonable their prices were. I scheduled a pick up a few days later and they came and took our 14 boxes from the basement without a problem and were so kind and courteous. 3 days later I got the certificate that all our documents had been shredded. My boss and I are so happy with how swiftly this process was and how affordable it was. We will definitely be using them in the future! Thank you!
