That's when I suggested we check out Walker Street Mini Storage. It did look a tad bit sketchy but it was still located within Castleberry Hill. Plus it was across the street from No Mas Cantina! Let me just say that there are not too many places in Atlanta where you truly feel like a business is family owned! Even though its not a family owned business (actually operated by the developers H. J. Russell), Lenora made the experience so easy and awesome! No contracts...month to month rentals...and access to 7PM every night! Plus it was very affordable! The only negatives are that they did not offer their own insurance and their climate control rooms were not that fantastic and would be difficult to move furniture into them. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a storage unit and will continue to update this review on the rest of our experiences with this place!

Long story short, I had a 24 rental I completed online, which was a cargo van. The cargo van had the previous customers wallet in there, which I had no idea until the previous customer gave me a phone call. Someone at this location gave my personal number to the previous guest so they could retrieve their wallet from me. Two different phone numbers called me until I answered. I had to take time out of my day to return the wallet to someone, which I didn't mind, but the fact that they gave my number out without consulting with me is wild. My solution to my invasion of privacy was to return the U-Haul with less gas then I picked it up with, and called it even with the owner. $83 for a 24 rental, and invasion of privacy. 6/10 stars for this location, the value was subpar. Hertz is probably your best bet. Please train your employees on privacy laws, it will come back to bite you in the butt one day.

You have now opened me as a FORMER customer up to Cubesmart who at least showed the standard and much better customer service at least at that store. This store failed to do basic good business practice. Its a downtown store so they have probably gotten comfortable with lack of customer service because they don't have to worry about foot traffic, but this is one foot that won't traffic into this store ever.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know. Once you get in, it becomes a money grab for them. They go up on the rent for the units every few months. And its not a small amount. It goes up $30+ every time. You can go from paying $85 to almost $200 within a year to year and a half. I would suggest going to one of the smaller companies if you're unsure of how long you will be in there.
