Super nice and professional guys! Easy to deal with. I completed part of the service contract online and then signed everything at delivery. They sent me an estimated delivery time and were within 15 minutes of that time, not like your cable guy asking you to be at home between 12-4pm. My husband has been using the bike as a part of his morning exercise routine and LOVES IT! This isn't a home bike you can get from Academy. It's one of the nice commercial quality ones like what they have at Gold's Gym. It's surprisingly not that loud, since it just sounds like white noise down the hall from my bedroom. Anyway, he's able to get in a solid 30 minute ride in the morning before work, and when he's done, I'm just getting up and able to hop on for my own workout. You can't beat the convenience or the price! We were going to buy a fluid trainer for winter training, but after we factored in all of the costs (trainer, spare wheels to use on the trainer, mat, etc.), this was a much more convenient and cost effective choice. Plus, once winter is over, we can either have them pick up the rental or swap it out with another for summer training. FYI, they have a showroom, so you can go check out all of their machines and hand pick the one you want. They even have a staged bedroom, so you can get an idea of how much space a machine takes up---surprisingly not that much. We have our spin bike set in front of our picture window and big screen TV. :)

I spoke with Joe at length about what they had and who they sold to, etc. It was really interesting and while it was a Friday and no one was in sight, Joe assured me that weekends were busy. Mostly the equipment is sold to private owners and homes, rather that to gyms. People can come in and try out the equipment, bring their kids to the play area and be confident in their service. Once you purchase a piece of equipment, Hest will deliver and set up the equipment. They will come to your house and service the machine, as well. It is a pretty big deal to buy a Hest fitness machine.

Not only did he have exactly what I was looking for, he had several different versions I was able to test out and I ended up going home with a model I preferred. 23 Fitness has a great selection of high-quality equipment, and Ken and his partner are that perfect mix of personable and professional. I found the prices to be very fair, the condition of the equipment stellar, and Ken very knowledgeable and accommodating. We are going through such a strange time right now -- if you need to get some more exercise at home and feel frustrated about back-orders and leery about contact with craigslist people, I highly recommend heading out to Brenham to get what you need. It is ABSOLUTELY worth the trip.
