First time buying fringe bumper plates and was excited to receive them. When I opened my boxes, I saw that one 45lb bumper plate was really discolored and had many scuffs on the plate. I was upset and contacted Fringe customer service. They replied the same day and gave me two options. One is to ship back the plate but will have to wait until End if August for a new one or option to is to receive a 20% discount refund due to the damaged plate. I didn't want to wait 3 months for a new plate so I went with option two. Customer service was great, went smoothly and processed my refund. I recently order the Midas' Revenge Bar on a flash sale that Fringe offered. Not only did I receive the 20% discount, but the Fringe representative also gave me an additional discount for military veteran status. So cool! When the package arrived, however, it looked like it had gone through the war and back. The packaging was damaged and the top 1/3 of the protective cardboard tube was ripped off the bar. The gold bar sleeve was exposed and scratched up. The UPS driver let me know that this is how the bar was loaded on her truck and confirmed this was most likely not how the package was shipped but rather damaged in transit. Given the damage, the UPS driver offered to ship it back to Fringe, which I accepted. I then contacted the Fringe sales rep about the damaged package and bar. She confirmed that every product they ship is carefully packaged and protected, and immediately forwarded my concern to Fringe Customer Support who contacted me promptly the next day. They said they would immediately send a replacement bar and apologized for the inconvenience. Within a very short time thereafter, I received the shipping confirmation. The replacement Midas' Revenge Bar arrived within just a few days and the package was undamaged and the bar well protected. The bar looks fantastic overall! There was a very slight scuff/blemish in the gold titanium finish on one of the bar sleeves, but aside from the blemish (a bit of a disappointment) the rest of the bar--including the Cerakote bar finish--was perfect! The sleeve spin isn't as smooth as I'd hoped, so not sure what to make of that. I'll need to pull off the sleeves and give it a good look-over. All in all, I'm sure this bar will serve its purpose well. Aesthetically, it is a really nice-looking bar--best-looking bar in my line-up! It is solid and I have no reason to believe this bar will not hold up. I'm giving this bar a 4 out of 5, and a solid 5 out of 5 to Fringe for their customer service and support. If you're looking for a great bar, give the Midas' Revenge Bar a look if you can pick it up on sale. If you take the plunge and order, you'll get a great bar backed up with great customer service, but just know that the bar might not be exactly flawless and fit for a king. read more

I wish I could have purchased some of the equipment from here. I visited their store/ Gym in South Austin on March 10th, and was pretty bummed that I was completely ignored. Not even a "hello" when I walked in. I browsed around at some items I wanted to purchase and waited for what I thought were two staff members to become available so that I may ask a few questions, but perhaps I wasn't dressed in the right crossfit gear or had the right body type to warrant answering my questions. I continued to wait as they helped a customer, but still, not even an acknowledgement. The equipment they sell looks to be of high quality, but their customer service is something else. I've read a lot of good comments, my experience just did not fit what others have encountered. Guess the fat guys need not visit, lol! **Almost a year after the above review, I returned to Fringe Sport. Completely different experience. I was able to buy a squat rack and a few additional items. It was our first trip to Austin so we had to make a quick stop in to Fringesport. We have quite a few pieces(barbells, bumper plates, bench, slam ball, plyo box, etc.) in our home gym and are big fans of their equipment. Luckily, they were on the way to the airport on our outbound flight. So glad we did stop cause the showroom and box are nicely set up. Their showroom has ALL of the equipment they have on their website so you can inspect/view and use. I've been contemplating a foldable rig so I'm glad I could see it first hand. Everything is so well laid out. The "BOX" side has open workouts so you can drop in and get a good sweat on while trying out the goods. Such a great idea. We were greeted by Cynthia when we arrived. She was so awesome in getting our shirts and answering all of our questions. We are BIG on customer service because SO many companies miss the mark, but she nailed it. Thanks again Cynthia. If you are into purchasing quality equipment at a very good price look no further. Do yourself a favor if you're in the area and stop in. You won't be disappointed. I gave two stars because they do what they're supposed to lol. I got a pair of dumbbells and they arrived looking dirty, scuffed, and used. I emailed Fringesport customer service and they have NEVER gotten back to me. Horrible customer service. I will be going to a different fitness brand in the future. My July 2020 order has been consistently pushed back. It went to August, September, October (received 15lb plates), November, December, and January, and now it is March and May. I received the partial order in January today, but I need to send it back because one of the four 45 lb plates is a different blue color. The worst part of this experience is I have to start the update process. Once the dates pass by, I naturally email about the order. When Fringe Sports responds, this is the only time I get a revised update. If I complain or mention the number of delays or how I believe Fringe should be communicating, I usually get a snarky response saying I can get a refund... I have been waiting since July 2020, and I hate to cancel my order and pay more for plates from somewhere else. It's awful to do business with someone and wonder how much they will ACTUALLY take. I would not recommend Fringe Sports to anyone. read more

After nearly 2 months somebody reached out and offered a partial refund and to send me some missing hardware. After what seemed like some progress, nothing happened. Similar to other recent reviews, I have not had a good experience with Fringe Sports. I pre-ordered my weights and bar online as many other high-quality brands are still out of stock. Everything (but one item) was scheduled to be sent via UPS. I received a notice from Fringe saying that the bumper plates that I pre-ordered were not the exact item that I had purchased originally; they offered several options on how to proceed from providing a discount, returning the order, or even offering a different plate option. The items were already shipped and I just want to lift, so I opted for the discount. My wonderbar was delivered damaged, which I reported to Fringe. My 35 lb bumper plates were lost in delivery by UPS, which I also reported to Fringe & the 25 lb plates that I ordered looked used & were extremely discolored. Fringe offered another discount for the issue, but have been juggling me back and forth between customer service associates & they never offered any assistance with the lost package. UPS denied my claim (despite providing them a ton of information and my invoice) and it looks like I am now going to have to fight with both UPS and Fringe for resolution. Besides the lost weights, I still do not have all of my original order which was supposed to be here by now. Fringe sent me another email saying that my remaining bumper plates would be delayed & offered another discount for the inconvenience, but then walked it back after realizing that I was already offered a discount. Discounts don't mean anything to me... I paid decent coin to have quality equipment. Fringe Sports was supposedly known for good customer service but I call BS on that noise. This was my first time ordering from Fringe Sports. This was for my indoor set-up and is my third or fourth weight set. I spend a good amount of coin on equipment, but will not be purchasing from Fringe again. read more

Very disappointed with this company. I put in a decent size order and was told it would be at my home in 9 days. I even called before putting in the order to make sure the products were available. I noticed throughs their shipping app they still had not sent the order by 3 days before it was due. I called them and they told me they had gotten a bit behind but it would ship today (this was Thursday). Then I called again Monday when it was supposed to arrive and was told it still had not shipped and they did't know why but they would put a priority on it and make sure it shipped by end of day. I checked my app the following day (which was today Tuesday) and saw it still had not shipped. I called them this afternoon to find out that it still had not shipped and was just sitting there. I just canceled the order and I will go to rogue or someone else who I've used before and at least tells the truth about whether an item will ship or not. Not sure why this company didn't just tell me a true shipping timeline during one of the many calls I made to them instead of just telling me it was shipping today and then not shipping it each time. read more

Wanting to have a garage gym, due to all the rules on mask wearing at the local gym, I started to check out Craigslist. Of course all the weights and equipment on there was way over priced, but I did find a nice deal on a 300lb set of Olympic weights/bar for $350, and it was still in the box. Then I came across an ad for FringeSports located in Texas and decided to check them out...glad I did! They have everything you need to build a garage gym and more! Their prices are not gouging your CC, and they always have a sale for something. Free Shipping!! Now here's what made me decide to do a review. Their Customer Service goes beyond most expectations and other businesses. I purchased a Bench...on sale of course, it's a flat/incline/decline bench. After assembling the bench I noticed how it was a little crooked, and no matter what I did, I could not make it straight. I tried to work with it for a couple of weeks, but it finally started to bother me too much. I took the bench back to FringeSport (I live in TX) and told/showed them the problem. The person there Trevor, was very accommodating and simply said, bring it into the warehouse and will replace it with a new one that's not even on their website yet. Plus it came with a leg attachment to do crunches...mine did not have that feature. No questions asked, just made it RIGHT!! I also worked with Lauren, who is very communicative over the phone and has helped me with my purchases. I also purchased a Swiss Bar (if you need a Swiss Bar this is the one!) but I had to return it because my rack is not wide enough (40") to fit the robust Swiss Bar. My rack is not the standard size (RitFit) however, it does have a pulley system. I liked the bar so much I was considering purchasing another rack and selling mine, but that would be like too much work, so I just purchased a narrower one off of amz. This is the place to get your Gear for your physical training needs, they also have Latex free bands, which are very good and will give you a major work out if used properly. I can't say enough about FringeSport, they are an up and up company no bull and will do the RIGHT thing...CHECK THEM OUT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! read more

Alright so I'm not a fitness guru or an affiliate owner. This is a review from just an average joe who between two jobs, law school, and a fledgling farm startup struggles to find time to drive to the gym. So, I started looking at ways to bring the gym to me. I didn't want anything elaborate or fancy. Just the tried and tested essentials. After checking around online and calling up companies I realized my 2k budget wasn't going to get much more than a barbell and a few plates if I went with brand names like Rogue. A google search brought me to FringeSport and I put together a cart and was shocked to see I was getting everything I wanted and more for my budget. Then the icing on the cake was calling into FringeSport to ask questions and inquire about their products. I spoke to Nick and not only did he take the time to confirm that all the accessories fit the rack I chose and answer a never ending litany of product questions. He also reiterated that I'm welcome to try out everything and they have a best in the industry return policy so no harm-no foul if I don't like anything. Honestly with such a large investment the safety net of such a robust return policy is a huge relief. Overall, they may not have be a name brand product yet but their customer service is superior to the like of Rogue and Sorinex. I'll be sure to update this when the products roll in and I get the garage set up. read more

I've bought a barbell and bumper plate set from them and the equipment is great. I eventually bought a squat rack and weight bench to go along with my weights and created a nice home gym. Really good equipment and great staff. I needed some extra weights to help balance my squat rack and the people from fringe sports gave me some used weights on the house. My husband added several items to his cart, and the items sat in his cart for a few days because we were waiting to go to settlement on our house before we placed the order. In the few days of the items sitting in the cart a representative reached out to him to see if they could assist him in anyway. She was very helpful in swapping out a few things and making some changes to complete his order. She was quick to answer any questions he had. My husband finally placed the order on October 5th with some of the items being on back order until December. We have one item arriving tomorrow and that will complete our order. I was so pleasantly surprised with all of the items being delivered so quick, and more than a month prior to what they told us. We purchased, bumper plates, barbell, kettlebells, and a squat rack and so far it's great. Great customer service. They under promised and over delivered which exceeded my expectations. DO NOT BUY FROM FRINGE SPORT! They are unscrupulous and untrustworthy! I ordered the Raptor Air Bike on the evening of 3/7/22 and the order went through on 3/8/22. Today, on 3/11/22, I received an email from Fringe Sport stating that, "those bikes are now out of stock and we will be unable to fulfill your order." They were in stock when I ordered them, so what happened? The price has gone up over $200.00 since I placed my order and they are now listed as being out of stock, so I will tell you what I think happened. They wanted the higher profit, so they put my order on hold, while they then filled orders that sold for the $200.00 more. I was so looking forward to the Raptor and because the reviews had been very positive, I thought I had made a great purchase. Instead, I find the product may be great, but the company not so much. I have never dealt with an immoral and incompetent company like this in all my life. Stay away from Fringe Sport and do not give them your support or money! I found fringe sports on Craigslist and it looked they had some unique stuff that you wouldn't find at Academy or Dicks sporting goods. I finally found some time this Sunday to check the place out and I was not disappointed. They had a cross fit gym and some really high grade home gym equipment on the sales floor. I bought some knee caps for better stability when I'm doing squats, and deadlifts. Cool place I would definitely recommend at least checking the place out! read more

He helped set up my order and assured me the items would fit in an Altima so I was able to get everything the same day!
