I happened to walk by last week during a shoe sale where it was an extra 40% off of their sale shoes. It was end of day on the last day of this but I was still able to score Birkenstocks and two new balance sneakers for around $130. INSANE. The employee helping us was super helpful and kept going to the stock room to see if they had additional sizes. I appreciated the effort and the fact that he didn't seem annoyed. We also want to give credit to Zack who went above and beyond with helping us and making our shopping experience an amazing one. He was very knowledgeable and experienced in the items they carried in store and online. He also kept us up to date on any sales going on or will be happening especially during this crazy year. We definitely will be coming back more often and hope that they receive the recognition they deserve for being knowledgeable and overall amazing workers.

IME, it is best to get work done after the hunting rush. Wait times get worse the closer you get to fall. Apr through Jul is usually best. I had a pistol Cajunized in the busy season and it took a little over a month. I took one in during mid-Spring, dropped it off at 11, and had it done same day by 4:30. The DA/SA are so much lighter and crisper. I have Cajunized one myself, so I know what is involved. It is surprisingly hard to find gunsmiths with experience Cajunizing, or with CZs in general. I guess it makes sense, they are far less common than Glocks, M&Ps, etc. I have had smiths tell me they do not work on CZs, or they say "we can do that, we'll figure it out," which is not comforting. Each time I came in, the associate at the counter brought me to talk to a gunsmith. He knew the order the parts go back in, that some jobs like the mag release are easier when everything is already apart, and that you have to remove the front sight pin to replace the barrel bushing. The sear cage is a nightmare to get back together, so I'm happy to outsource it. It's clear they do a bunch of them here, so it takes less time than me installing it or a smith doing it for the first time.

She recommended I spend a few minutes walking around the fitting area to get a good feel of the boot to determine the best fit. I'm in between sizes depending on shoes, brand and design (6-6.5 US Women) and typically wear lightweight socks with all year-round boots. To my surprise the Blundstone Original Chelsea # 510 in size 3 (AU/UK) = 36 EU fit just right. I wore my new boots to Vancouver, and they were comfortable right out of the box, no need to break them in. I signed up for their membership and can't wait go to back to pick up a few more things--overall solid experience.
