    Shed ALL OVER the washer.

I needed a green military wool blanket right away to give to someone in great need. Someone without heat in their sleeping quarters. I have an authentic Army wool blanket and know how warm they can be. On Tuesday November 5, 2019 I went to the store to purchase one. I needed it right away. When I saw the blanket I really didn't like it and it didn't even look like the right kind of green. I thought to purchase and if it was okay, I would buy more for the folks I know that are in need. I took it home and washed it in cold water with a mild detergent on delicate cycle. Well, the blanket SHED LARGE CLUMPS of wool all over my washer and the blanket had large clumps on it as well. I decided to place in the dryer on low heat knowing it would continue to shed but I was okay with it and even if it shrunk a bit it would be fine. I cleaned out the lent catcher 3 times - each time with a THICK wool shedding. Once the blanket was dry it looked kind of THIN. I paid $39.99 plus tax ($43.29) for this horrible blanket. I went back to the store the very next day. I took my receipt, the blanket and the LARGE roll of wool from the dryer lent catcher. The man there said he would not give me my money back because I RUINED THE BLANKET. He said that it is a DRY CLEAN ONLY blanket. I showed him a photo of a tag from the other military grade blanket I personally own (from Northwest Woolen Mills) and wash often and dry in the dry with no problems at all. He said the other one I have is not real. I believe green army military wool blankets are made to be used hard and washed under field conditions. I don't think our military have the LUXURY of taking their combat wash to the DRY CLEANERS. I was so disappointed to spend $43.29 on something I can't gift to a needy individual. Too bad I RUINED this piece of crappy blanket and not able to get my money back. Did not have a "DRY CLEAN ONLY" tag!!!

RB's are an absolute necessity when doing first ascents. I've taken many lead falls on them and never once has an RB pull out of the rock. I have 100% confidence in their RB's. Over the years, Climb Tech has honed the RB's design, making them more user friendly and even more bombproof. Also, Climb Tech is the only company that has responded directly to the needs of route equippers worldwide. Climb Tech is one stop shop if you're looking to bolt a new line. For establishing big walls to overhanging sport routes, Climb Tech's products have proved indispensable. Other Climb Tech products I've tried include permadraws, chain draws, chain anchors, adjustable aiders, etriers, bolt hangers, and quickdraws. All of Climb Tech's products are top notch and of the highest quality. The customer service at Climb Tech is as good as it gets. The employees are rock climbers, so they understand the specific needs of climbers. Finally, Climb Tech is locally owned and operated in Austin, Texas! Buy local!

I have used their permadraws in the south austin gym as well as out at reimers and I can tell that they are made with amazing quality and will last many years to come. I do kind of wish that they would have a store front for their gear so I can feel and see the difference between everything they have to offer. In this modern day of a digital world and internet ordering, it's still nice to be able to walk into a store, see/ feel what you're about to purchase, and walk out with the product in hand.

We had formerly tried the customer service corporate line and no luck with replacement seat. By happenstance, we were rebooked on our vacation to stay to Austin and driving around spotted the Bote sign! It's a fantastic store with so many different models and accessories. The actual seat we need for our Deus's isn't available for some reason, but amazing Ben was able to find a different seat that absolutely works. He had our model in the store and took the time to show us the other seat, blow it up and latch it to make sure it would work. SOLD! I bought 2 seats and 2 paddles then, took his suggestion to get 2 cup holders to see about rigging them as possible pole holders. Really happy with the customer service and great showroom. PS - this is the only store outside of Florida at this time. Now I'm not so pissed about being rebooked in Austin when the AC gave out on my hotel in San Antonio. Everything happens for a reason. Problem solved. Happy customer.

The store has a nice layout, and you can easily find what you're looking for. I met Leslie, who was super helpful and patient. She recommended I spend a few minutes walking around the fitting area to get a good feel of the boot to determine the best fit. I'm in between sizes depending on shoes, brand and design (6-6.5 US Women) and typically wear lightweight socks with all year-round boots. To my surprise the Blundstone Original Chelsea # 510 in size 3 (AU/UK) = 36 EU fit just right. I wore my new boots to Vancouver, and they were comfortable right out of the box, no need to break them in. I signed up for their membership and can't wait go to back to pick up a few more things--overall solid experience.
