Great place to go for your gun needs. Went here last night with my husband and the two workers made us feel comfortable and at home. It was dark so we were afraid we wouldn't be able to find it, but out front is a well lit sign that says "Gun Store." Clear and to the point. I like it! We went inside, they have a nice display of weapons for you to look at. Plenty of ammo. Lots of cameras. It's clean and organized. Felt safe! They also have very fair pricing for their products. We called around to several places looking for a specific Sig. No one in Austin or Round Rock had it. Not only did this place have the gun we were looking for, they had it at the best price! Husband has his license to carry so the background check was fast and easy. Ryan knew his stuff and came off personable, not cocky. He seemed honest. The lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) was very helpful and let me check out a few guns. She helped me pick out a nice gun that I'll probably come back for within the week.

Awesome place!

Ryan and Kora are top notch and answered all my questions without talking down to me (unlike a certain local gun store).

My experience with Central Texas Gunworks was honestly shocking…read more My girlfriend and I ordered a firearm that was originally quoted to arrive in about 10 days. Instead, the order took over six weeks to arrive. Frustrating, but we were patient and waited. When the firearm arrived, my girlfriend went to pick it up. The store advertises closing at 6:00 PM, and she arrived after work at 5:55 PM. The gun was paid for so this was simply a pickup. When she arrived, the employees were already outside sitting in their cars getting ready to leave. She politely asked if they could go inside and complete the pickup since it was still before closing. Instead of helping her, the employees laughed at each other and joked about whether they were going to do it, then told her to "just come back tomorrow." She explained she had rushed there after work and arrived before closing. They claimed the credit card machine was broken, which was irrelevant because the firearm was already paid for. The worst part about this, the store owner Michael, sat and listened. and never lifted his head from his lap. Despite arriving before the posted closing time, and after waiting six weeks for an order that was supposed to take ten days, they refused to help her and continued dismissing her request. She was laughed at and treated with complete disrespect. This wasn't just inconvenient, it was unprofessional and humiliating customer service. If your business advertises that it closes at 6:00 PM, customers should be able to expect service until 6:00 PM, not be turned away at 5:55 by employees who have already decided they're done for the day. After a six-week delay, the least a business could do is treat a customer with basic respect. I hope this is addressed because no paying customer should be treated this way.

Under their recommendation, I purchased a suppressor, good quality red dot, and red dot mount for a PCC. When I was finally able to get the suppressor attached, the mount that I bought under the recommendation did not co-witness with the iron sites. When I tried to return/exchange for something else, I was told that it was past their 30 day return policy. I asked if they could simply allow me to exchange it for other merchandise, but again stuck to their policy. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I had to wait more than 30 days for the adapters to mount the suppressor on the PCC, but I never went back and told them to cancel that order so I could purchase somewhere else. I was very patient and respectful with them while I waited. While I am not a huge customer, I will no longer be a customer.

My friend purchased approximately $800 worth of hunting gear on November 21st that ended up not being used. The items were completely unworn and still had all tags attached. We attempted to return the items before he had to fly out, but the store is closed on Sundays. Due to the holidays and both of us being from out of town, we were unable to return the items until December 26th. At that point, we were told the return was refused because it was outside of their 30-day return policy. What's frustrating is that the policy does not reasonably account for store closures and holidays. This was not an abused return--everything was new and unused. When I called back to calmly explain the situation and ask if there was any flexibility, I was laughed at and told I was wrong. That response was unprofessional and upsetting. I expected better customer service from a company I've supported for years. Policies are one thing, but how customers are treated matters just as much. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider shopping here in the future.

Chaz disassembled the gun, gave it a thorough inspection, and cleaned it top to bottom ensuring it was safe to operate again. The action was free of rust and cycled smooth as butter. While the gun was in overall good shape before, it was glowing after Chaz worked on it. The Experience: Chaz provided excellent customer service from the first moment of contact. I filled out a service request form on his website and he called me within 24 hours to confirm and set up a time to drop off the twelvette. Drop off was quick and easy with Chaz discussing how he would service the gun in detail. As he worked on the gun, he would text me pictures sharing his progress through completion. Turnaround was about 1 week (give or take). Overall: Chaz is clearly passionate about his work which shows in his results and positive attitude. He is great to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing service on their firearm(s).

He started working on the rifle the moment I arrived and when he realized it would require a little more work, he said he would have it back to me in a few days. Well, two days later he said come pick it up. I've never gotten such prompt service. The rifle looks like new...it probably is....Chaz says that maybe three rounds have been through it. I appreciate his attitude and attention to detail. I'll be back.....
