I have had several experiences with this place and none of them very pleasant. I am a licensed gunsmith and went in asking about job openings. The bearded man behind the counter simply said "No" and not a single other word. Came in another time looking for ammo and when I asked about certain ammo types and if they carried them the same man seem quite annoyed that I was even there. The prices are high and the custom service is mediocre as well as they are only open some of the time. Can't say I recommend. read more

They have some great stuff in here. It's a lot more tactical than your average gun shop. If you're going for shotgun shells to hunt with... Probably not your store. Go down the street to Cabela's. If you're looking for home defense -- FSC is a good place to start. Prices seemed reasonable, and FFL fee was fair... I'll probably come back and have them help me get a can for my AR. They've got a lot of suppressors if you're into that sort of thing. Good professional spot with good people. read more

Should have paid more attention, since 2018 they have only had reviews from 1 - 3 stars. -) Female attendant was very rude. -) Prices were higher than other places I frequent. -) Asked about repairing a firearm and the male attendant said he was not interested. Great place to go for your gun needs. Went here last night with my husband and the two workers made us feel comfortable and at home. It was dark so we were afraid we wouldn't be able to find it, but out front is a well lit sign that says "Gun Store." Clear and to the point. I like it! We went inside, they have a nice display of weapons for you to look at. Plenty of ammo. Lots of cameras. It's clean and organized. Felt safe! They also have very fair pricing for their products. We called around to several places looking for a specific Sig. No one in Austin or Round Rock had it. Not only did this place have the gun we were looking for, they had it at the best price! Husband has his license to carry so the background check was fast and easy. Ryan knew his stuff and came off personable, not cocky. He seemed honest. The lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) was very helpful and let me check out a few guns. She helped me pick out a nice gun that I'll probably come back for within the week. read more

I saw this place on my way to Reds indoor range. I've always been one to shop local and support small businesses. However, my girlfriend and I were treated rudely by the guy at the front. My girlfriend is new to guns and I've been working on making her more comfortable around them but she wasn't very happy with the way were treated when we came in to possible buy something new and thinks all gun shops are this way towards gun buyers. Stop buying guns online and go to FSC. These guys are fun and fair and now have two food trucks on their lot for settling your stomach before your wife finds out about your new purchase. They actually have guns that you'd like to see, well beyond the selections of an Academy or even Cabelas. They also have a sliencerco kiosk in shop so they make buying a can super easy. Ryan and Kora are both standup folks who will give you a great deal and some laughs. I would definitely recommend to others. This was my first time shopping at Falling Skies, I'd like to think When it comes to shopping around that I am above average when it comes to research and price matching. First let me say that after speaking with Ryan on the phone at Falling Skies numerous times, I know I was at the right store. Ryan was very helpful in helping me find exactly what I was looking for was able to beat the prices of other gun stores In the area ie, The Range, Red's, Cabala's that's an easy one and Sportsman's Finest. Their prices on accessories, ammo, magazines, optics also is far better then the above. If they don't have what you are looking for. Ryan will tell you if he can get it and will give you his best price. Again he beats all the above and I will be back to do more business once tax season is over. Also and I feel this is a major selling point for me is Falling Skies unlike the Range and Cabalas do lay away for some of those more pricy purchases that I am looking at.
