I felt the tuna lacked flavor. The main courses were ramen and crab cakes. Crab cakes were small and the ramen also lacked flavor. It was my fiancés birthday so I ordered carrot cake. That was good! Service is great! Waitstaff is friendly. We came without a reservation and were told it would be a 20 min wait, but were seated shortly afterward. But I wasn't blown away by the food. The lobster roll lacked flavor and had too much bread (ie. The roll was too big for the amount of lobster), the scrimp scampi was way too heavy and salty, and the wings were over fried and too heavy on the sauce. The local fried fish was decent though, large portions of delicate fish, but the zucchini fries didn't complement the fish. Not sure I'd necessarily come again. read more

Came here are a midweek night for the happy hour apps. It is off season, so was thankful they were open for February. Plenty of parking. Since Wellfleet oysters are my #1 I had to order half a dozen. Unfortunately the price didn't give the same kind of love during happy hour. About $3 an oyster. Also ordered a bulliet bourban neat for $15 I had a cup of clam chowder and veg rangoon's. All were fine and filling enough. Though I'm not often a fan, the fried zucchini fries were so good! If I were to come back my mission would definitely to get the pizza. The building was different, had an upstairs, downstairs a frame kind of shape. I had sat in the bar area where it defintely started to fill up closer to 6pm. This was some of the best shrimp scampi I've had. The flavors were just phenomenal. The service is great, staff is very nice and the drinks are great. Along with this I got their sea food chowder which was amazing. The second time I went (a year later) I got the shrimp scampi again which tasted the same, amazing. I also got the clam chowder which was really good, full of clams! This is definitely my go to spot when visiting the cape. read more

With all the five-star reviews, I wondered did we eat in the same restaurant?! Multiple missteps and our waiter was among the missing... Burger ordered medium-well was almost rare. Meatloaf arrived luke warm and the veggies ice cold. "Chef's Whim" for $21 included a puff pastry with chicken, asparagus, fontina cheese (good), vegetable Rangoon (okay), and a honey nut squash that was horrible. When the waiter eventually appeared and cleared the table, we informed him that the squash was so hard it couldn't be cut with a knife and was inedible. He spoke with the chef and manager and admitted the squash was undercooked. With the table cleared, he offered to recook it now (huh?) or a free dessert. Not a great way to encourage a return visit. read more

From the crispy Fish sandwich- what a catch to the appetizer s; fried artichokes, pineapple chicken wings, onion rings, sweet potatoes fries, crab cake. cauliflower bites all amazing. Everything sooooo delicious! The only thing that could make it better was having a magnificent service person. We found Robby who fit this description. Just a great guy who was superb! Every time we come back to Cape Cod, CShore is on of our favorite return restaurants. And this time, we were able to enjoy the outside seating again. It's just so relaxing to sit near the warmth of the fire pit and the glowing patio lights. You quickly forget how close you are to Route 6! For my entree, I went with the seasonal risotto, which was filled with mushrooms, asparagus, and tomatoes. I really enjoyed it and felt like the portion was just right. My partner ordered the meatloaf entree which was served with mashed potatoes and veggies. He really raved about it, saying it was just as good as mine at home. For dessert, we always save room for their cannolis. One order is two huge cannolis filled with ricotta cheese and garnished with chocolate chips. It's the perfect sharing dessert. I'd recommend this place to sit outside on the patio by the fire and get wine. my drink tasted like a plain vodka lemonade, but it was the lavender cocktail (tasted no lavender). the Mac and cheese was top 3 worst I've had. It was pretty overcooked and had no flavor. The garlic cheesy bread wasn't worth it, and the vegetable Rangoon tasted like a Trader Joe's frozen meal. The service was wonderful, our waiter was awesome and the outside looked really cute, just the food was bad and none of us really enjoyed it except the mahi sandwich. Sweet potato fries were not awesome but not bad. I'm rating it 1 star because I wouldn't recommend the food to anyone. But you can't mess up wine so maybe do that there read more

I loved my dining experience here. I ordered the oysters to start and had one of the pizzas as my entree. Our server had no idea what the allergen information was on the menu but he was super helpful when finding the information. I don't really fault him, though, because he seemed to be a teenager starting out on his first job. The oysters were really good, but the pizza was amazing. Maybe it's because I haven't had a really good pizza since 2013 but I loved it a lot. I couldn't believe the crust was gluten-free. It was too good. It was a little chilly since we had outdoor seating but they had plenty of heating lamps that really did the trick. Service was also fast, and my family had a great experience. read more

We had a wonderful meal to celebrate the end of our annual family vacation. I asked for a high top in bar and our bartender/waiter Tim was friendly and even though he was busy took great care of us. We started with a dozen local oysters which were perfect! My husband loved his mahi mahi sandwich which came with sweet potato fries. He really can't stop talking about it! I had the mussels which were in a red curry sauce. The mussels themselves were plump and tasty, I guess I prefer a spicy tomato base however. My daughter enjoyed the baked stuffed haddock. There was 6 of us in our party last night and we had a great experience. The food which needs to be the star of any restaurant definitely didn't disappoint. They have a diverse menu with both seafood and land lover items on it. Several of us had the baked haddock and loved it. My son had a burger (Imagine that at a place like this? LOL) he said it was very tasty. The server did a great job. Very personable and efficient. The atmosphere was classy but not over the top. They have outdoor dining as well. The wine list had some good selections. Prices were reasonable Cape Cod in the summer time prices. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed in the bar for an after dinner drink and the young lady bar tender did a great job! Will definitely go back! read more

This dining experience was much better than we expected. First, there are several dining options to choose from. The inside is multi-level and offers a nice atmosphere. There is a small rooftop patio with firepits that is secluded and also nice, but you do feel that you are not part of the restaurant. Other outdoor options include a patio area, some tables more open to the air, and others protected by plastic. Hostess and servers were friendly and food was delivered efficiently by the kitchen. The menu is crazy big with so many options, perhaps too many! It's easy to lose your way and become indecisive about what to order! We found the cocktails to be well executed. Raw bar was good, and we enjoyed some tasty Wellfleet oysters. A surprise dish was a truly fantastic fried artichoke heart, just delicious and crispy all around and you are able to eat the entire heart, no leaves to worry about. I would return just for this dish. You will find Poke bowls (decent, but I was too full by the time it came), and Ramen to classic New England fare. My friend raved about the lobster bisque. We also ordered a "wedge salad", always a favorite of mine, but I was a little let down. The blue cheese dressing was a bit weak and watered down, but otherwise the salad was fine. Reservations a little tricky as they only book within a two week window, so keep that in mind if visiting the Cape. read more

We had the Chef whim appetizer, which was really good. Made for a promising meal. My son had the crab cakes, which were small, and the sauce was unimaginative and not good. The waiter mested up an easy substitution, which basically ruined my meal and my wife's meal because they subed it on the wrong meal. No concession was made to remedy the situation, and then he ignored us completely for the rest of the meal. All the food was cold and almost completely unseasoned. What they called rice piloff was just white rice with mixed vegetables in it (lazy cooking). The chefs' choice mixed vegetables where bland, cold, and practically raw. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the layout of the building was really cool. Would not recomend. read more

She answered "9:00pm and our last seating was 8:15pm" I said perfect we are 10 mins away (1.8 miles) We arrived and their clock said 8:12pm. I grew up here many years ago and moved away when I was a child. I decided to bring my fiancé to visit and stopped by this restaurant. I must say, the food was fresh and delicious. We ordered vegetable board, Wellfleet oysters, and chicken fingers. The veggies (green beans, zucchini, beats, asparagus and others) were well seasoned, cooked and topped with the right amount of fresh Parmesan cheese and dressing. It was succulent. I will be making this when weget home. Fans of raw oysters need to sample these pearls of the sea. These were some of the best oysters that I have ever eaten. The chicken fingers were crunchy with a light batter. It too was good. Not only was the food amazing but the service was top notched. We've come to C-Shore multiple times over the years. The menu is generally fresh and inviting. However, as of the writing of this review (7/2024), the menu lost those qualities. Our appetizers were delicious. We got the Oysters Rockefeller, the Squash and corn fritters, and the potstickers, all of which were delicious. Unfortunately, the entrees fell short. The Jake Burger was the only thing that was done well. The fish tacos were good, but the sides were a plain rice and plain black beans, which were a let down on a traditional dish. The seasonal risotto was bland and rather colorless, and the Mac and cheese had a strange initial taste. Fortunately, the cannolis saved the day, as the filling was sweet with a hint of salt, crispy shell, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. read more

I regretted so much not writing a review about this place or noting the name last year because the mussels were one of the best things I had ever eaten. Unfortunately the interior photos on yelp weren't helpful so it was hard to find it again on here, but I'm so glad my friend went on google and located the restaurant for me. The Atlantic mussels with curry sauce are SPECTACULAR. I always have to fight off the wait staff from taking the broth/sauce when I'm done eating the mussels because I want to dip my pizza crust in it when that comes. On that note, the gluten free pizza here is on point. It's delicious, I haven't gotten sick from it, and it's great cold/leftover as well. read more

The food was delicious! The seasonal salad of shaved Brussel sprouts, delicata and spaghetti squash with a Gorgonzola topping was delicious, I'm still craving it!! The fried fish with zucchini fries was wonderful and big enough for two meals. It's an adorable place and our sever was a wonderful young man. I was surprised at how empty it was as we passed other restaurants that seemed packed, some of which we had been to and were no where near as good as this place! read more

Definitely in my top 2 for restaurants in Eastham. Their clam chowder is the best in the area. Servers have always been friendly and good. Not huge but a good beer selection if that's your thing. Can't go wrong with inside or outside seating and I love that they are open year round. read more

3.5 stars. Food and drinks were great, but service was kind of lacking. I went on an early September weeknight because my hotel was down the street and the menu looked good. I didn't have a reservation, so the hostess told me it would be about 30 minutes. She told me that I could sit around the fire pit and order a drink while I waited for my table. Perfect! She showed me to a nice adirondack chair and I took a seat. I saw waitresses and waiters scamper to and fro. Two waitresses even had a long, giggly conversation with the early 20-somethings sitting in the next chairs over. No one stopped by to take my order. Other folks around the fire were drinking, but it took me almost 30 minutes to finally flag someone down (it ended up being the hostess). She took my drink order and it was delivered a few minutes later. It was frustrating to be passed by so many times. They all saw me, but no one asked if I wanted anything. Anyway - about 50 minutes after arrival, I was given a table near the heat lamps, which was much appreciated. I ordered a pizza and a dozen oysters. A few minutes later, I was told that they were out of oysters... in Wellfleet... the week before Labor Day... but ok. I ate my pizza, which was pretty good and got the rest wrapped up to go. The food and drinks were good and I liked the outdoor covid atmosphere by the fire and the heat lamps. The service game needs to be upped and they really need to have oysters. C'mon! We had a great date night out at CShore while we stayed in Wellfleet for vacation. Their outdoor seating area is so cute and created a nice ambiance despite being right on Route 6. We ordered nachos as our appetizer and two specials as our entrees. The orange-glazed salmon was delicious and I'm glad I ordered it even though it was somewhat out of my comfort zone. The only thing that made us feel a little uncomfortable was the fact that our waitress kept commenting on how quickly we ate our nachos. We were hungry! Sue us!
