    Shrimp scampi
    Chrissy R.

This was some of the best shrimp scampi I've had. The flavors were just phenomenal. The service is great, staff is very nice and the drinks are great. Along with this I got their sea food chowder which was amazing. The second time I went (a year later) I got the shrimp scampi again which tasted the same, amazing. I also got the clam chowder which was really good, full of clams! This is definitely my go to spot when visiting the cape.

Great service! Nice ambiance. Liked the fish sandwich. Mac and cheese was bland. Garlic bread was subpar. The blueberry gin and tonic was good! Lavender collins was very sour.

I've been to the CShore twice now will visiting in this area. My family and I have had great experiences both times. Food is very good and the prices are reasonable for what you get! We were placed at a table with a fire pit. Would definitely go back.

Seasonal risotto, just might be my new favorite entree here.

Every time we come back to Cape Cod, CShore is on of our favorite return restaurants. And this time, we were able to enjoy the outside seating again. It's just so relaxing to sit near the warmth of the fire pit and the glowing patio lights. You quickly forget how close you are to Route 6! For my entree, I went with the seasonal risotto, which was filled with mushrooms, asparagus, and tomatoes. I really enjoyed it and felt like the portion was just right. My partner ordered the meatloaf entree which was served with mashed potatoes and veggies. He really raved about it, saying it was just as good as mine at home. For dessert, we always save room for their cannolis. One order is two huge cannolis filled with ricotta cheese and garnished with chocolate chips. It's the perfect sharing dessert. So glad that they still have it on their dessert menu. Special thanks to Justas, who took such attentive care of our table tonight.

I'd recommend this place to sit outside on the patio by the fire and get wine. my drink tasted like a plain vodka lemonade, but it was the lavender cocktail (tasted no lavender). the Mac and cheese was top 3 worst I've had. It was pretty overcooked and had no flavor. The garlic cheesy bread wasn't worth it, and the vegetable Rangoon tasted like a Trader Joe's frozen meal. The service was wonderful, our waiter was awesome and the outside looked really cute, just the food was bad and none of us really enjoyed it except the mahi sandwich. Sweet potato fries were not awesome but not bad. I'm rating it 1 star because I wouldn't recommend the food to anyone. But you can't mess up wine so maybe do that there

I loved my dining experience here. I ordered the oysters to start and had one of the pizzas as my entree. Our server had no idea what the allergen information was on the menu but he was super helpful when finding the information. I don't really fault him, though, because he seemed to be a teenager starting out on his first job. The oysters were really good, but the pizza was amazing. Maybe it's because I haven't had a really good pizza since 2013 but I loved it a lot. I couldn't believe the crust was gluten-free. It was too good. It was a little chilly since we had outdoor seating but they had plenty of heating lamps that really did the trick. Service was also fast, and my family had a great experience.

We had a wonderful meal to celebrate the end of our annual family vacation. I asked for a high top in bar and our bartender/waiter Tim was friendly and even though he was busy took great care of us. We started with a dozen local oysters which were perfect! My husband loved his mahi mahi sandwich which came with sweet potato fries. He really can't stop talking about it! I had the mussels which were in a red curry sauce. The mussels themselves were plump and tasty, I guess I prefer a spicy tomato base however. My daughter enjoyed the baked stuffed haddock. Overall, a very pleasant experience with great service.

This dining experience was much better than we expected. First, there are several dining options to choose from. The inside is multi-level and offers a nice atmosphere. There is a small rooftop patio with firepits that is secluded and also nice, but you do feel that you are not part of the restaurant. Other outdoor options include a patio area, some tables more open to the air, and others protected by plastic. Hostess and servers were friendly and food was delivered efficiently by the kitchen. The menu is crazy big with so many options, perhaps too many! It's easy to lose your way and become indecisive about what to order! We found the cocktails to be well executed. Raw bar was good, and we enjoyed some tasty Wellfleet oysters. A surprise dish was a truly fantastic fried artichoke heart, just delicious and crispy all around and you are able to eat the entire heart, no leaves to worry about. I would return just for this dish. You will find Poke bowls (decent, but I was too full by the time it came), and Ramen to classic New England fare. My friend raved about the lobster bisque. We also ordered a "wedge salad", always a favorite of mine, but I was a little let down. The blue cheese dressing was a bit weak and watered down, but otherwise the salad was fine. Reservations a little tricky as they only book within a two week window, so keep that in mind if visiting the Cape.

Upon entry, we were welcomed and shown to a booth and immediately asked what we wanted to drink. It was a great way to start! We looked at the menu and all of us made our decision for dinner rather quickly! Our drinks arrived and we placed our dinner order. I the smoked chicken plate with cornbread and fries. We also ordered a veggie burger and a cheeseburger one with fries and one with tater tots. As a side dish, we wanted to dry the coleslaw, which was rated a 10 by the two who tried it! Dinner arrived on-time and it was delicious. I had the chicken plate, which was tasty. The cornbread was awesome and the fries were great. I was happy for sure! The cheeseburger plate and veggie burger were rated very high by both parties who finished the entire plate. We were thinking about having some desert but eventually decided against it. The bill came and we were pleased with the total. Very fair Parking- ample Service- awesome Food- tasty Both Indoor and Outdoor places to eat One suggestion: use smaller trays to deliver food so it doesn't look like there is not enough food.....just my 2 cents! We did not stop in the bar....although, I did look in on the way out and the Red Sox were on......as I mentioned earlier, probably a great place to watch some football or sports on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday! Block & Tackle is open year-round, as well 5 stars from me! Great stop and I plan to be back!

I might get the aoli on the side in the future it was just a tiny bit too much for me but really good! We had a side of plantains which were perfect & made the mistake of upgrading to salads on both. We should have done one with fries & one with side salad. Definitely worth checking out!

There's plenty of bike parking by the beer yard. It was a nice day so we wanted to sit outside and have a few beers in the Hog Island beer garden. Service was great. They were getting prepared for the busy season training some folks, and everyone was very friendly and hospitable. The beer garden itself was a huge grassy area with plenty of seating, a mix of picnic tables and regular tables with chairs. Despite it being right by the woods it didn't seem too buggy which was really nice. After hanging out a bit we decided to get dinner there. We were able to order food right at the beer garden and pick it up at the take out window. The food was awesome! We got a bowl of clam chowder, loaded tater tots, and the Rt 6 bacon cheeseburger with a side of greens. First, they're not messing around when they say 'loaded' tots! Some places put a sad little drizzle of cheese sauce on top, but theirs were thoroughly covered with a delicious beer cheese sauce, fresh bacon, and scallions. The clam chowder was great! Not too thick, lots of clams and clam flavor. And the burger was amazing! A nice, thick, juicy patty that was perfectly cooked, a really fresh brioche style bun with lots of flavorful toppings. We walked through the restaurant itself to use the bathroom and it seemed like they had a lot of seating, a nice bar, and a patio area. The only bathrooms being inside the restaurant was a little annoying, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll have some port-o-potties by the beer yard come the full fledged busy season. Overall a really nice time and we look forward to returning!

After graduating from high school, he realized the difficulties of finding success on the Cape so he decided to enroll at Hartwick College in upstate New York. Gallant soon became homesick and decided to move right back to the Cape after graduating. He had worked in the restaurant business since he was 14: starting out as a dishwater and eventually moving into management positions. He soon realized that the only way that he would be successful in this industry was if he was his own boss. He found a restaurant space in North Eastham that was previously home to Rick's Outer Bar and completely remodeled it. All of the dishes on Local Break's menu are crafted with fresh, local ingredients. The bar also has an impressive list of local craft beers on tap. Unlike many Cape Cod restaurants that close down during the colder months, Local Break is open year-round. My extended family and I visited Local Break this past August during our week-long trip to the Cape. The restaurant was right down the street from our Airbnb and we had heard good things. We enjoyed the nautical decor and the staff were friendly and helpful. For cocktails, my wife had the "Strawberry Peach Lemonade" (Deep Eddy peach vodka, strawberry purée, lemonade, fresh lemon) and I had the "Woodford Reserve Maple Old Fashion" (muddled cherry, orange, maple simple syrup, Angostura bitters, Woodford Reserve Bourbon, splash of water, ice). Both were very flavorful! Among our whole party, the entrees we ordered were the "Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich" (pulled baked BBQ chicken served on a Kaiser roll, topped with fried onion rings and coleslaw), the "Romesco Fish Sandwich" (fried cod with house made Romesco sauce, lettuce, pickles), the "Hot Chicken Sandwich" (crispy fried chicken thigh, sweet pickles, house made coleslaw, brown sugar-hot sauce, Kaiser bun), the "Po' Boy" (beer battered fried shrimp, baby greens, tomato, chili garlic mayo, baguettini) and the "Kid's Tenders". Everyone really liked their food! I really liked my Po' Boy which went great with some sweet potato fries and Cajun maple dipping sauce! We would definitely stop at Local Break again on a future trip to the Cape!
