I had been having vision issues that began with my pregnancy. I came to Crystal Vision Clinic at the suggestion of a friend and I am so glad I did. The facility itself is beautiful, welcoming, and clean. Everyone I spoke to greeted me with a smile. The technician (I'm sorry I forgot her name!) was friendly and explained the tests she was performing so I understood the process. Dr. Endres was so professional and personable. I was educated about every step of my exam and even got to see images of my retina! I didn't feel rushed at all and he really took the time to explain his findings and to answer all my questions. Kimberly helped me pick out my frames and suggested enhancements to prevent breakage (which is a necessity with a 9 month old!). I have been going to this clinic for years and just had my annual eye exam. Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy. Their new clinic is beautiful. Overall their flow of getting you on and out felt seamless. The staff swiftly moved me through all of the steps to check my eyes. I did have to wait for my eyes to dilate, so they had me look at frames to save time instead of sitting in a room waiting. I've always been impressed with how personable all of their staff is, and how much they really want you to be happy in your frames. I picked my frames up 2 weeks later, a week ahead of promised timeframe. Overall if you're looking for an eye clinic in the area, it's an amazing option to choose. read more

You should not judge someone because of it especially when you do not know why they have MA. They were also super kind and patient with my son, which is a huge bonus! It was also a very clean, attractive office and they were following covid protocols very well. I was recommended to this clinic by a friend and my experience did not disappoint. The clinic is very nice and looks like it was newly renovated. From the moment I walked in, the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The optician that checked my eyes was very thorough and made sure I had a comfortable experience. I was not kept waiting (which has not been my typical experience at eye doctors). I have been getting regular headaches and Dr. Chase Endres was able to help diagnose my need for glasses while reading and working on my computer. He was very professional and helpful. The woman that helped me pick out my glasses was a huge help in making sure I got a pair that looked good. I didn't feel like she was trying to sell me anything, she just wanted to make sure I was happy with the glasses I bought. Also - I loved their selection of name brand frames like Kate Spade, Zac Posen, Michael Kors etc. This was also the best experience I've ever had waiting for glasses to be completed. They have a great notification system and my glasses were ready within a week to be picked up. I went in, had them fitted and was out the door within 5 minutes. Overall - great experience! read more

I went at the recommendation of my wife, who had a good experience there and they were one of the VSP clinics. The exam and everything surrounding getting my contacts(Corin was VERY nice and very good at getting me ready with contacts) and glasses went ok and the doctor was very nice(Dr. Enders I believe) and explained plenty of things and I felt the exam itself was great and very thorough. It took a little while, but that can be expected since I had to get both contacts and glasses set up with a new prescription. The major issue I have with them is things were not explained very well as far as what was covered and not covered. I was told during my contact eval that the best place to use my $160 credit for VSP was with the glasses, since I get more bang with my buck. I was not sure if I was getting new glasses, since I really only wanted to get new contacts and a new exam, but decided to go that route also. The lady who helped me with my glasses wasn't the most courteous, and when I asked about the 20% discount for using VSP on a complete pair of eyeglasses(about 3 signs in the place state this, including right by the enterance), she said "we already gave you enough discounts with VSP already" and dismissed it mentioning it wasn't great for the doctors since they lose money on it. I didn't want to get into it since I was there for over an hour already and was running a bit late, so I was going to wait until the billing when I picked up my glasses and contacts to discuss it. When that happened, I brought it up to another lady in the glasses area and she said that was only for a 2nd pair. This is not stated ANYWHERE on the sign, though it is on another sign that you get 15% off a 2nd pair I believe. I then brought it up to the receptionist, who had me talk to a lady in billing(I think) who then told me to go talk to the lady in glasses. Explained I did already, and then she said I can't use that discount if I already use the $160 that VSP gives. Again, this was not mentioned anywhere, and the girl doing my contact evaluation had told me I can do both. I probably wouldn't have done glasses if I would have known my cost was going to jump this much for both. Now I have a few extra charges on the billing I have to call about that I was either not told about, or are more than was quoted to me. Plus I was charged $29 more than VSP said the contact exam should have been. Not worth the headache to get the discount, that wasn't really a discount since their prices are much higher than non-VSP vision options. I used Costco optometrists prior without VSP and ended up paying less, even without the $160 discount. I would highly recommend not going here due to the issues with billing and how it is so disjointed between the glasses and contacts side, and apparently nobody knows what the other side promises. My First experience with them was alright, wife and I ended up with 3 pairs of glasses and 2 rx sunglasses. My glasses actually fit and felt so well, I wanted an identical pair...called them up, went and paid for them, being we were there weeks before, they had all the ordering info...picked up second pair, pulled them out a few days later, and immediately noticed the frames were no where never close to my originals, came with extra ear pieces, which first set did not, and not even the same color, at least the rx is correct. Called a few days later, and was told there was nothing they would do since they where a special order....worst 700.00 I ever spent.....would not recommend this business do to poor customer service . read more

Wonderful visit from start to finish! I've been going to the eye doctor since I was just a little kid and this was by far the best office I've been to. Was greeted by friendly, welcoming faces, no wait time, and had a thorough exam with Dr. Chase Endres who is so knowledgeable and really goes the extra mile for you! Also, the new technology offered here is really awesome! Did not have to get dilated and did not have to do the always dreaded "air poof" test. I was so excited to visit this clinic, I was referred to it by a friend. It is a little out of the way if you are not a resident of Crystal, but I figured it would be worth it if I could find a long term eye Doctor. The woman who did the pre exam stuff was rude and dismissive when I asked about the contact fitting prices. She actually said, "you can go somewhere else if you would like." I went on to do the exam, the eye doctor (she) was very nice - the exam went well. I left and came back a few weeks later to look at some glasses and order some contacts. When I came back to order contacts (June 17, 2016) I was directed to Jessica. (Yes, the service was so bad that I actually wrote down this woman's name.) Long story short, after Jessica yelled at me for only wearing one my contacts (one didn't feel right, turns out they gave me the wrong prescription originally for one eye). I asked if I could order contacts, she said only when you pay your balance... I asked what it was for, she didn't know. So I paid. Then had to ask for a receipt, the receipt said I had already purchased contacts. I told Jessica I didn't order contacts, nor did I receive them. A good 15 min argument began - finally someone stepped in and apologized and credited my account. As I waited to talk to the doctor I watched as 2 people were turned away because they were a few minutes late for their appointment - this blew me away, it was almost as if they were excited to tell people to go away. I ended up speaking to my eye doctor and telling her I was taking my business somewhere else, she didn't seem surprised. I asked for my glasses and contact prescription and left. I gave 1 star because the eye doctor was nice. read more

There was a mix-up on my insurance and I needed to cancel an order that I had placed less than 2 hours prior...The lady on the phone yelled at me and told me that I was inconsiderate for canceling the order. She proceeded to tell me that if I needed vision care in the future, I need to find a different clinic because they are no longer willing to help me. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. The mix up was not on purpose and I would never EVER do that. The manager was rude and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Worst experience ever. Yes the staff did a lot to try and accommodate my needs and that I am very appreciative of that. The manager could learn a few things from them. read more
