They have always done good work and so when our toilet in Delaware needed replacing, they were the first I called. The tech diagnosed the issue and we decided to upgrade the toilet since he had to pull it out anyway. The one we wanted was supposed to take 3 weeks to order and they would call when it was in to schedule installaion. This is when the issues started. After over a month, I called wondering when the toilet would be ready to install and miraculously it had just been received..... so I scheduled an installation. The technician never showed up and when I called, they had never put the install on the schedule. They offered me a discount and re-scheduled. The technician arrived on time and took over 2 hours to install, but maybe thats typical. It wasn't until after he left that I noticed that the supply line had been bent and was not perpendicular to the wall. Also the toilet has a slow leak inside and periodically refills the tank. I called and asked for a plumbing supervisor and none were available but they took my information and said they would call. One week later, after no one called, I called again and there was "no record" of my calling or requesting a plumbing supervisor. So I made the same request again. Again, there was no one available to talk to and they took my information. It's now been over 3 weeks since the installation and no one has called me back. The supply line is still bent, the toilet still runs and I don't expect to hear from them again. They certainly won't be hearing from me either. Now I have to find another plumber to fix their mess.

I learned a great deal from Justin and I'll ask for him again!

Then, they wouldn't schedule me for the following day knowing that I was having issues. Instead they expected me to wait a week or use someone else. How rude! How unprofessional! On the pump housing, Blades put a service sticker with their phone number, approximately three inches from where the leak was happening. I thought great, I will call them and they will take care of it. When the service technician came out, he took a look at where the leak was and said that they do not service geothermal loop pumps, and charged me $125 to come say that; he was not even here ten minutes. I told him that I felt that I was being ripped off because I had described where the leak was, and they still sent someone to tell me they don't work on that part. The tech said I could take that up with the office. I called the office to describe that I would leave a critical review because of my experiences with them, and give them a chance to make it right. The guy in the office literally laughed at me and said something to the effect that just because a sticker was on the part doesn't mean they service that exact part. Their four-hour service windows without updates make it difficult to plan when they may be able to come out. Had to reschedule a prior service call because the technician did not come out until about 12:15 when they had given me a window from 8-12. I do not recommend using Blades HVAC. One time "John" answered and I told him I was interested in an HVAC maintenance and service contract. He rattled off some numbers and promised to email them to me that night. Never got anything. I then called that number over and over, leaving messages that again were never returned. Finally, a woman answered and explained that she was in a front office and could give me no info (??) about service contracts, but she said if I called 800-921-0392 an answering service would take a message and forward to someone who would call back. She also promised me that John would send me the promised info that day. Not. So I called the 800 number and left a message for someone to please call me. Nothing. I give up. Too many other HVAC companies that care. I wonder how if they respond to customers needing emergency service.
