Not a good experience. Walked in on Saturday morning(11ish), had a wedding@2pm. Long story short, I was only able to get a pedi bc time had run til now it's after 2. Medi/pedi already paid for, made an appt. Monday 12pm. Came for appt was asked to come back at 1pm, I come back! I was still waiting after 1:30pm. Requested my $ back and they act like I offended them!!! Are you kidding me. Then said I didn't pay for the design on my toe($5) so it will be deducted. What about the inconvenience of my time? An older lady started my nails who clearly had no idea what she was doing. My fill was severely lumpy. Before polishing I politely let her know I will pay but I would like to stop here. I don't like lumpy or thick nails. The "owner" then said she would take over and she then started with a very rushed job like she was frustrated. Which I'm not sure why because I offered to pay I just didn't want a bad job done. She clipped me a couple times because of how fast she was going. All that to have my gel polish peel in 2 days. I hadn't been here in years but since it was my birthday weekend my daughter inlaw got my manicure and pedicure as a gift to me. So, August 17 th I walked in and got the services I desired. I had a pedicure yesterday and returned today to speak with management about the horrific service I received , it was a that point management accused me of bumping my toes that's why they look this way...you be the judge. On top of that! They did not use regular polish, but the polish from the "gel" package to paint my toes. Finger Paint on Park Blvd or Posh on 9th and Washington are the places to go. It's on fire, Tammy - this lady is so creative, she recommended me to write the school's name on my nails, her design is good tho. Also, they did my eyebrows so naturally. If I could rate this ZERO stars, I would! You may consider going here because you will walk out of there with AWESOME eyelashes and it's super cheap and they seem to do a good job. Shortly after, you will be regretting this decision like crazy! When you lose 50 EYELASHES taking this shit off! I swear that they use some kind of crazy glue on these eyelashes! When you ask them what kind of glue they use, or if NO way that they can tell you! I actually went to Simone's in San Mateo and got extensions and I still have gaps. Apparently, I'm one of the lucky ones. As soon as Simone saw my lashes, she knew that I had gotten this done at some nail salon in Oakland. She said that she has seen this several times and a couple times people came in with ZERO eyelashes and she couldn't do anything. I only get my mani/pedi from Ms. Lee and my eybrows waxed from Mimi. Ms. Lee does the best designs and is so friendly. So I've been coming here on and off for like 6 years, was first brought in by my bestie after being referred by her sister. I originally was in love with one of the young female nail techs cause she was RAW AF with the nail designs and that is top 3 in what I look for in a nail tech. I got my brows done my Mimi back then too but felt they were just as good as my old shop down on fruitvale, so no big whoop (back then). Fast forward to present day; I go here religiously (unless I'm out of town and DESPERATELY NEED a fill or pedi never for brows tho, those I've been doing myself for the last 3 years). So I usually get my nails done either by ( I'm HELLA bad with names) the older guy who sits in the second booth or the young guy who sits in the third booth (if you're back is facing the front door). They both pay attention to detail and are good listeners when it comes to requests and preferences. Never have let me down and NEVER once have I ever had a nail break, crack or lift when they do them, and that says a lot cause I work with my hands a lot and (used to be) notorious for breaking a nail or two before my next shop run. My pedicures are always on point, made me fall in love with my feet that I've always hated. As with ANY shop you still need to pay attention to the trimming/clipping if you have a specific preference for length and whatever. ON TO MIMI THE BROW GOD........ She comes off abrasive and will make anyone be like "bish whet?!?" but once you see how she interacts with the everyone else especially the regulars, you'll see that she doesn't mean any harm by it. It's just how she is. I LOVE MIMI tho, she did my last two pedicures and my boyfriend and I can't keep our hands off my feet now lol before they were always cute but she knows what I like so it's a lil diff than when my other pedi lady does them. Anyways I begged her to help me bring my sad ass brows back to life about a month ago and she said she "didn't have enough magic" so she waxed me that day and a month ( 2fills a full set and couple pedis) later I'm back!!! I've been going to this salon since 2008 my experience at Crystal's nail salon has always been pleasant they are clean, efficient, reasonable prices, great hours of operation and know what they are doing. If you want mani/pedi, waxing, and eyelashes you can have all of this done in 1hour or less on a Saturday. Great customer service thanks to crew that currently provides services. Cindy/Mimi your sense of humor is priceless. They treat you like you've been coming to them for years even on your first visit that never changes. In reference to eyelash glue/removal it is important that 1 is well educated in the removal process temp eyelashes is not something for 1/2 days. If you have them put on be prepared to wear them for @ least a week or longer otherwise removal is not a easy task and you can risk losing your own. read more

If this were based solely on her and her magical work on brows the place would get 5 stars hands down. They are good people and they give good service to good people. Some people try to come in there with attitudes and they give them back but they have no choice.
