Quality bakery. Fresh tasting and never missed every time I've been here. Highly recommend.

Been here a few times and whatever I get, it is delicious. I have never been disappointed. I have tried their breads, a few cruffins, mini croissant, chocolate chip cookie and some danish. I don't like overly sweet pastries and this place is just about right. It has a subtle sweetness to it and never overly sweet. If you are in the area check them out. Definitely recommend.

I am extremely grateful to Yelp for introducing this business to me earlier this year. I wanted to return to Crust after my first time trying it, but it was a hard ask for myself to drive across the Valley for one bakery. Well, my friends heard my prayers and moved to Burbank so I had the perfect excuse to stop by Crust once again. My friends loved the box of pastries I picked up for them. I think anyone would be pleased to receive a box of goodies from here. I know I would be! Perhaps I need more Eastern European/Slavic cuisine in my life, but the hand pies I tried here were life-changing, eye-opening, and revolutionary. These pies have such a luscious bread crust, so perfectly chewy. I haven't had these baked goods not fresh, so I can't speak to how well they keep, but they are so good fresh that you should just eat them as soon as you can. Sweet or savory, they do it well. The classic Cruffin converted me to how wonderful custard can be. I have also enjoyed the Nutella Cruffin here, but I cannot recommend the classic Cruffin enough. The chocolate pear pastry also lingers in my mind. I love pear, and I'm surprised I didn't realize sooner. Pear is an amazing fruit. This is a bakery that I hope will open a location on my side of the Valley, but until then, I will have to drive to Burbank for the goods. The workers here are quite helpful, and their vibes lend the place a warm local feel, just as a good neighborhood bakery should.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. It's a big space, mostly occupied by the bakery kitchen. The cafe is modest. My friend says the olive sourdough is great. We went for lunch and I had the fried chicken sandwich on focaccia and an Americano. It's a bit pricey, but was big enough for 2 meals. This is the same with any sandwich shop with $17-20 prices. Some might say service is slow, but that's because the food and coffee are made to order, which is the way it should be.

I came here to try their baked goods and they did not disappoint. I loved their croissants. I got chocolate croissant and it was delicious with flaky crust along with sweet chocolate cream inside. Service was nice and fast. Their bakery set up is cute inside with chairs, tables, and decorations that made it look like I was in Paris neighborhood. I would come back here to try their other bakery items. Recommend bakery!

We visited Crust Artisan Bakery to pick up some pastries to eat on and after our flight home. Walking in, they had a wide variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods to choose from in an open, brightly lit, and inviting space. I'm not that familiar with pastry pricing in this area, but pricing seemed to be a bit on the high side (my comparison point is Seattle, which is higher COL, and these would be on the expensive side even there). Almond Croissant ($6.95) - For this croissant, the lamination seems a bit tight especially towards the top. I don't feel like they excessively overload the top with almonds so it's a bit puzzling why it compresses so much. Still, it's light and chewy, pleasing to eat. The croissant feels very heavy in weight, mainly due to the frangipane. In this case it's very smooth. It's also light colored, almost blending in with the color of the croissant. Instead of a dry paste that a lot of bakeries use, this frangipane definitely has more moisture content, although not runny in any way. I'm not sure what they add to provide this texture - it does taste kind of like egg though. The frangipane is very sweet. Due to the sweetness, it overpowers the more subtle buttery croissant taste - it's good for someone with a strong sweet tooth, but just a bit too much for me! (4/5) Palmier ($3.25) - This palmier is not baked as hard as some other palmiers I've eaten, so while there's a flaky crisp, some parts are a bit softer and almost seem a little stale, possibly from sitting in the display case the entire day. The palmier is doused in sugar, so it's sweet, with a bit of a cinnamon flavor (could be contamination since the palmier was resting on top of another pastry). It's pretty sticky, due to the caramelized sugars on the bottom. Again, a sweet treat, but this time I think more appropriate in sweetness. (4/5) Cottage Cheese Scone ($3.95) - Huh, I'm not sure I would call this a scone. The texture is light, almost cake-like, with only the lightest of crusts. It's only slightly sweetened, with a bit of vanilla added, and then some sweetened, rich cottage cheese baked inside. It's almost reminiscent of cheesecake. The construction is pretty interesting as well. I think they use a flat circle of dough, add the cottage cheese mixture in the center, then fold it over like a taco. (4/5) Chocolate Chip Muffin ($4.95) - This muffin is more like an American scone in texture than the cottage cheese scone. Very dry almost crumbly interior studded with plenty of chocolate chips. Another sweet treat. Not rating this since I ate this the next day, which may have affected the texture. I wouldn't have expected it to dry out that much though, so I suspect it was missing moisture to begin with. I found the baked goods and pastries at Crust to be good enough to satisfy. I wonder if they actually specialize in bread rather than pastries? At least, all of the loaves sitting on the shelves seemed to be nice and crusty! Before I left, I saw a tray filled with bags of croutons at the front counter, with a "free" label. I guess made from leftover bread from the previous days? That's really the differentiator at this bakery and would be a main draw for me to revisit if I lived in the area.

Excellent focaccia mortadella sandwich. Bread pudding delicious, but that carrot cake cinnamon roll stole the show. Service was fast and the dining room is nice

Nice spacious store with a decent assortment of bread and pastries. I was in the area and hankering for some sourdough bread and luckily they had my favorite, jalapeño cheddar sourdough. I also saw some nice looking monkey Bread so I got two of those. Overall the bread was a little different than that I find in the SF Bay Area but still ok. The Monkey bread though were really good - had great texture, nice amount of cinnamon and sweetness.

Large parking lot Dine in available Reasonable prices Great service Quality food and drinks This place is so beautiful and gives me very Parisian vibes. Fresh and high quality pastries. The coffee was also delicious, very smooth not bitter ! Service was also great, he was very helpful. The shop itself was very clean and well kept !

Crust Artisan Bakery is such a good spot. The service is friendly and easy, the bread is some of the best I've had, and the pastries are always fresh and done right. And the khachapuri? Unreal. So flavorful and seriously hard to stop eating. It's also very cozy inside -- a place you want to sit, have coffee, and enjoy the moment. Simple, warm, and really, really good.

The store has a nice big space with lots of natural light. There is plenty of indoor seating to enjoy your coffee/pastry or sandwiches. I like that they have lots of variety in their pastry case- I ordered a variety box. Service was helpful and friendly! All of the pastries were fresh & soft. The mini raspberry croissant & mini raspberry pie has a raspberry jam filling (lots of filling). The spinach & cheese danish and mini cheese pie are delicious heated up. The portion size for the spinach & cheese danish is a pretty big square. I'll have to try the sandwiches next time! Parking- big parking lot with plenty of parking spaces shared with other businesses

Exactly what I want from an "artisan" bakery. From the atmosphere, to the selection, to the hands on/super helpful service, I didn't catch the bakers name, but he was awesome! I do wish they had more dairy-free options besides the bread. However, the quality is top notch! Also, was advised that the menu on the website reflects what they have in store.

Their New York rolls were full, rich, flaky, and flavorful. Unfortunately, over the past year, the quality has gone completely downhill. The croissants are now dry, overcooked, and tasteless , even early in the morning. It honestly feels like they changed the butter because the flavor is gone. The pastries look beautiful for Instagram, but the taste no longer matches the image. People probably come for the terrace and the "Paris" aesthetic, but nothing about these pastries feels authentically French anymore. The owner is Iranian and honestly should stick to Iranian pastries instead of trying to market this place as a French pâtisserie, because it is nowhere close to the quality or refinement of a real French pastry shop. On top of that, customer service is terrible. The employees are rude, impatient, and act bothered when you ask simple questions like the price of a croissants ; especially since prices are not clearly displayed. Paying almost $7 for a croissant or New York roll, and $10+ for many pastries, would maybe be acceptable with excellent quality and service... but definitely not with dry pastries and rude staff. Parking is another nightmare. There's no dedicated parking lot, so you have to park on San Fernando, pay for parking, and parking enforcement is constantly circling waiting to ticket people the second your time expires. This was my last visit. Save your money and go elsewhere for pastries -- honestly, even Whole Foods does better at this point.

With the florescent lights, a ET statue, and ice cream themed movie posters, it's like a blast from the past. There's ice cream, a variety of different flavored fresh cookies, a rack with pies, a self grab freezer with pints of ice cream, AND a freezer with ice creams, dog treats, and chicken pot pie. There's so many options, I've been there a handful of times with my boyfriend and we've ordered something different every time and it always tastes great! There aren't any seats inside of the ice cream parlor, but there are benches right out front that you can sit on to eat your treats. Sliders makes for a fun little adventure to get some ice cream any day of the week!
