The garlic parmesan wings are SO good. I wish the other Crumpy's locations had it too.

This Irish/Sports pub (soccer) is deceptively large. Located near the pedestrian zone downtown you…read moreenter this old building through a small vestibule where you will find the Brass door. The main level holds a bar and banquette seating along the opposite wall. Restrooms are at the back. There is an upper level with table seating and a basement bar and stage that is set up when they have live music inhouse. The menu is varied and includes Irish fare such as corned beef & cabbage and bangers & mash. I went with a spinach salad, which is quite nice, lightly dressed with beets & goat cheese. I like spice, but the spicy pecans were a miss for me. The Irish eggrolls are very well prepared. Ungreasy, flavorful, good ratio of fillings to wrapper. The dressing adds to the overall flavors. My dining companion ordered the cornedbeef and cabbage which comes with whipped potato. It looked amazing with a nice portion of cabbage and cornedbeef. I am told it's very good, and if it tastes like the egg rolls, I believe it. Malt vinegar, mustard and hot sauce are on the table along with s&p if you like to add those to your meal. Staff were friendly and attentive. Full bar with beer on tap including Guinness. Football (soccer) was on the TV's. I asked about the upstairs and was offered a look around, which I did. I love the old tiled floors and other preserved, vintage parts of this old building. Good stop!

Everyone who works there is super friendly. The decor is great. It feels like a dark, dingy bar but it's really nice. The stage is set up well and you can see it well from anywhere you sit. There's also a patio area outside where you can smoke and there are televisions outside that show a live view of the stage so you don't miss your show if you step outside. They get some incredibly talented folks playing shows there. Highly recommend going on a night where they have Chicken S#*t Bingo. It's a lot of fun and super cheap to play.

The front desk staff was attentive and easy to scan our pre paid tickets. I did not try any food items but did have a drink from the bar. The bartender made it to my taste since I am not a heavy drinker , with a light hand as requested. Highly recommend all tourists to get it out- the parking lot has security guards and I felt safe inside as well.

The rebranding would have been a better choice for our tastes, with big foot. The theme now is a trophy lodge sort of thing! The food is good, this is a Memphis original here. The food was great! The menu has all sorts of interesting things that are unique to the area. Having some food allergies they made me something off menu. This is a great choice to complement anything you do in the evening of Memphis. The staff was great, and pricing was excellent!

The food was fine but our meal took forever because each person's food was delivered one person at a time, and so slowly that #1 was finished before #2 arrived. There were four of us. It was excruciating. We finally asked about our last person and realized the order hadn't been put in, and when it was brought out it was missing a side. I don't know what was off, but it was not a good experience. The vibe wasn't bad, and the food was great. I think on a better night it could be a great place to go.

Later during the meal, he admits that Momma's is one of his spots, so that's saying a lot. It sort of looked like another bar/restaurant from the outside, but they have a nice outdoor patio overlooking an old decrepit building which is at least some scenery. Once inside, you'll quickly see it's highly decorated and has a claim to be one of the only trucker themed bars in the US. Inside is decked out to the ceilings with signs, neon, old mirrors, collectibles, and many other items. I swear it looks like it's been in business for 30+ years, but my client said only a couple of years. I looked over the basic menu and saw burgers, breakfast, salads, sandwiches, a famous pork chop, wings and a few other items. The client and my colleague quickly ordered devilled eggs, cheese curds, and chili cheese fries. The first two apps were really good, I didn't try the fries though. They had a burger of the day, and a food special of the day, but I settled on the wings. With those I chose the 10 pc, Buffalo with dry rub, smoked. Kind of a weird combination since most people usually order dry here apparently, but I like saucy wings. When they come out, they are huge and I knew I wouldn't be able to finish them. I think I could only eat 6-7. My colleague had a ribeye steak salad which was a protein bomb he loved, and my 2 clients ordered a big rig grilled cheese which he also loved and a fried chicken sandwich (firebird) which looked really good. Overall, I really liked this place and it's one of the best meals I've had in Memphis the handful of times I've visited.

I went two separate times and had two different experinces. One experience with an invited group…read moreand second experince was togo order. With the invited experience the food was hot and fresh because we are featured guest. However, even with food togo there is a reasonable hottness that stays with fresh cooked food. I ordered a Cobb salad with fried chicken and a burger with wedge fries at a lil after 5:00p and text to pick up was 5:21p. I was there to pick up at 5:28p. I walked in and stood in the entrance, near make shift board hostess stand, not sure but to my left was a hostess counting money, a guy at a kiosk eating with an apron on and the busy bartender. The hostess saw me, smiled and finished talking with guy at kiosk, they talk briefly until he sees me then walks over. I grab the order and feel no warmth. I figure the buger on top of salad maybe but nope, sure enough I get home and it's old and the fried chicken on the cobb salad is frozen. It was dried out and reheated. The amount of blue cheese was insane the lettuce was not fresh. The cheese on the burger was two different colors, the toppings looked old as well. $45 for a salad and burger, trying to support our local spots and the inconsistency is appalling. The burger was so good and fresh at the invited event only for me to remember it, and want to go back months later. The I pay my hard earned money, use my expensive gas to drive from East Memphis to Downtown and get a frozen breaded chicken patty on a salad and an old burger. If my feelings ain't deeply hurt because why are you not cooking real chicken breast?
