I've been to the other Coop and this one is equally as good.. Wings were crisp and had good flavor and the service was attentive and provided an accurate wait time.

First time here and won't be back. I ordered a lot of food to try different things. The corn nuggets tasted old. The fried green tomatoes breading was so thick and not seasoned, the fries under cooked and I didn't like the banana pudding. The wings were ok. I got the hot honey gold wings. It came with one slice of carrot and 1 slice of celery.

Is it possible to give zero stars? Shortly after ordering my food, I was quietly watching one of 4 TV's they have for waiting guests and I asked can the channel be changed to the Masters(GOLF). The owner instantly look disgruntled as if I asked can I date his daughter while a younger employee changed the channel to accommodate me. So I'm sitting there minding my own business then all of a sudden the channel changes! I look back and it's the owner with the remote! I asked respectfully "What happened to the golf channel?" He replied "Don't nobody wanna watch no Golf, that's my TV!......" I asked for a refund and left. I'm a student pilot at the near by Olive Branch airport. I came to this place FAITHFULLY for a bite before my flights. I hat to say this as an African American about a Black owned business by WHEN I SAY I'LL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN, I MEAN IT. Don't support these type of people and businesses.

Way too expensive. Winchester location is much more affordable. They charged $1 for using your card.

Service was cool, food was ok... nothing special. WAY TOO MUCH sodium. I will not be back to this location, honestly because they're just way too expensive. We'll just stick to the winchester location for now. I don't like how they charge a service charge? For what? Using a card? I guess. At least give us a heads up.

Fast service. It was clean. Looked for chicken gizzards everywhere and they had them and they were pretty good. I just happened to see it because it's tucked away by a dentist's office.

While I love good customer service, nothing beats a hole in the wall place with a single specialty done well. That's what you get here. CC has some of the best wings I have ever had in my life. The seasoned are my favorites by far. They are whole wings not the little pieces you get at most places. They cook them all to order so expect about a 15-20 minute wait for cooking. When it's really busy you can see the smoke in the air and people standing everywhere. Get it to-go because this is again, not the place for ambiance or customer service! They have one old TV and and a few plastic tables and folding chairs for those bold enough to dine in. Bottom line, great wings! The best within 10 miles of Olive Branch! Try the seasoned fries too! Awesome!

    Suicide wings. Yummy!

These were the best wings I've ever had. Even better than my own. The wings were worth 5 stars, but I'm deducting one for some problems I had. I ordered them as hot as they can possibly make them. He called them suicide wings. I found them to be manageable, but they were hot. Most places don't seem to know how to make them hot, but I like what they did here. It is hard to get hot sauce or wing sauce to stick to them, therefore it's hard to get heat. The chicken coop uses a thick gooey hot sauce and has loads of crushed red peppers stuck to them. They were hot, but not unbearable. Most places tend to overcook wings like they have a hard time knowing when they are done. The result is dry and chewy. Not here. These wings are juicy and succulent. The lemonade was great. They didn't have the onion rings I asked for, so I settled on fries. These were just ok crinkle fries. Should have skipped that. The roll was just out of a bag. I was the only one eating here while lots of people purchased orders for takeout. They turned down a customer and sent her away because they do take credit cards, but not master card. There are fans and junk on some of the tables, preventing their use. The kitchen door is crumbling to pieces. How about some maintenance? You have to go through the back of their kitchen to get to the bathroom, where I found a bunch of junk storage and a broken down cooler. There were three empty soap dispensers in the bathroom and not one drop of soap in any of them. No paper towels in the bathroom. Do these guys wash their hands? How? I would have graded them a lot harder had the wings not been so great. They have burgers, fish, chicken, and other stuff, but I didn't get to see any because all their business is takeout. Adam is right. Get your wings and leave!

I ordered a 15 piece honey gold . Very good food and customer service. I will definitely be back. The food was really fresh and hot. Worth the money. It came with only about 6 carrots and no celery at all.

This place is yummy! Service is great!

Some of the Honey Gold I've had at other places was too thin and didn't coat the chicken as well.

I happened across '1836 Desoto' and it was a wonderful experience. From the outside it basically is a block building, but inside it is a food haven that appeals to your taste buds. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and 'sweet tea' on the side. The previous night I had eaten somewhere in Collierville that didn't offer 'sweet tea' and they looked at me like they were unfamiliar with the term. Thankfully, just across the border in Mississippi, my love for the South was reaffirmed. The service was excellent and was just the friendly, polite, fast attention to my needs that I would expect from a local dive. After all, we treat people like family in the South; until they give us reason not to! The atmosphere was pleasant with a family feel, clean, well lit, and no music blaring. My waitress was attentive, positive, and quick to see to my needs while dining. My food arrived and it was delicious. The bun was perfect, the burger better than even I could have hoped, and the service remained excellent. They had quite an array of desserts, but after the sweet tea, I didn't imbibe. If you are ever in Olive Branch, MS you must try '1836 DeSoto!'

So we drove into old towne, and found this place. Went it, buffet was cheap, $4.99 I think. People, there's a reason why. Where shall I start - Salad portion, 1 lettuce, in 2 different bowls, but, same lettuce, minimal items to put on the salad - celery was brown in one bowl, green in another, I went for the green version. Passed on the cucumbers, cut in quarters, they were multi color as they had turned mushy near the rind and in toward the center. Meats, well, & this is true, I'm not kidding, I starred at them, what I think were the meats, but had to ask the counter guy what were the meats as I couldn't tell by looking at them. ps, there were maybe 4 other people in here at lunch. He said pork chops, OK, I could see those in the gravy, meat loaf, well, I saw something with red sauce on it, but, pushing back the red sauce, that was not ground beef under it, maybe cabbage? Whatever, it was not meatloaf. And finally, BBQ.... well, I guess that was the shredded stuff with so much sauce on it, I thought it was sloppy joes. So, I tried that, but could only eat 1 bite. Although he did not say ham was one of the meat items, I swear there was a shredded ham dish (in the veggie section). It was the only 'meat' item I could eat more than 1 bite of, but my associate took 1 bite of it and could not eat any more. Veggies, there were several, I could see they were lima beans, and brown beans, for example, but could taste no difference in either. Way... way.... way.... way.... too many items on the buffet. Folks, go for Quality, not Quantity. No clue how this place stays in business. On the way back to the office, we asked ourselves: What days were the food we just ate actually cooked???
