More like a 3.5. I'll admit that I was pretty stoked to hear about a new cookie place in town. Apparently these go big or go home cookies places are getting, well, big now. Been a fan of the extra large cookies ever since meeting my first love in NY, Levain. And quite honestly there is no comparison to them - they sit on this extra large cookie pedestal. When we moved here we discovered Cookie Plug, which wasn't Levain, but also had pretty solid cookie flavors and consistency, So being fans of the XL cookie we naturally had to continue on the cookie journey. The first cookie I had from Crumbl was good ol chocolate chip. The og flavor that defines a cookie place. Cookie Monster would've approved of it. It's quite honestly one of their better ones there. The consistency was a little crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and just the right amount of chocolate chips that left you satisfied. I really should have stopped their, but we also proceeded to try the sugar, salted caramel brownie, and some mint brownie one. Just a note - the brownie ones are kind of fudgey and a little too rich. Def a one time try kind of cookie. The sugar cookie on the other hand was pretty spot on, the frosting was very good and wasn't overpowering or overly sweet. Probably my second fav there. Overall their flavors I felt were just okay. They do more "toppings" on their cookies than Cookie Plug does and I'm not too crazy about that. So between the two Cookie Plug takes the cake...or cookie. read more

Horrible customer service. I walked in and there were three workers and nobody acknowledged me. One girl walked past me and started making cookies. I had to wait for the other girl to finish up an order for another customer that was waiting. She also didn't acknowledge me, and when she looked at me, I had told her I had an online pick up. She pretty much threw the cookies in the box and when she handed it to me, she asked me if they look all right and that was it. As a person that has worked in customer service for over 25 years, I was very disappointed. I get that it was 3 teenagers working, but they should know to acknowledge anyone that walks into their store. I hope this is a teachable moment for them in their future jobs. I knew I should've ordered from the other location when I was driving home from work, but I decided to pick one closer to my house. read more

Here though, Somehow their final products look worse than the cookies they leave out on display for hours. Cookies are small compared to advertised on social media & missing substance. 1 M&M in their recent Monster Cookie, How? Staff is incompetent. (And high as bawls?) Computer order system is always down with hand written signs taped to the screens. Put this location out of its misery already. Go to Costco and get 2 double sized chocolate chip cookies for the price of one this locations rinky dink Crumbl offerings. read more

If I can put zero stars I would. /: This location in Temecula- off Rancho Cal & the location in Murrieta off Cal Oaks Rd are both deceptive businesses. Both stores have been ripping me off & little did I know for years. Someone there had stolen my c/c number & have been charging ridiculous amounts on this particular card. Since they have opened both stores, maybe two to three years ago. About 1-5 charges EVERY WEEK from $16.71-$49.00 a transaction. I never bought more than a couple cookies a month! Secondly, , what company would be allowed to do business with an owner/accountant /bookkeeper who overlooks the many charges from one customer & not red flag it??? Nobody has bothered to call me or look in to the matter. And, just because the customer is NOT calling them they obviously think & feel they too can overlook these charges too???How wrong & deceiving is this? I just found out about these charges because I had my bills paid for me by my own accountant who accidentally overlooked them & also did not bring it to my attention for me to review back then. The credit card bill was getting paid every month while I was not being informed of these ridiculous charges. On my end it is definitely my bad for overlooking these fraudulent charges, BUT-this is beside the point....I cannot get the money back from the credit card company because it's been over 120 days. I am at a big loss. How is this fair or okay? To be ripped off on my card is like physically being robbed of & like your identity is being stolen & messed with digitally/online. I have left messages with no response , most of the time nobody answers , just a long recording. I tried emailing both stores, with no luck. I am filing ASAP a complaint with BBB & the consumer protection law agency & whomever else I need to address this with on top of legal action by my attorney. Be careful all, pay in cash if you absolutely have to go there for a cookie. By the way, I bought from them twice & each time on one cookie we found a hair in it. So I've stopped going there completely & make my own yummy cookies. When I brought the cookie back to show him the hair in it, he looked mad & disturbed that I even showed it to him & was not happy that he had to apologize & offer me another cookie. Very rude about doing so. Also- Not ALL employees wear a hair mask or gloves either which is super unsanitary. read more

One of our kids have been tracking the opening day for this location. Saw on Yelp how the line was long so I decided to stop by this morning after picking up my usual salads over at Baron's. Did a 4-pack Box of the Chocolate Chip Cookies & the Peanut Butter Chocolate chip as an initial taster. The cookies are large and packed with flavor, and if you're bringing them home to eat, I recommend a quick nuke in the microwave for about 22-24 seconds. Each cookie is about $4.50 each so you save by buying a pack especially because it gives you a chance to sample more flavors. I didn't give this place 5 stars due to the Customer Service with the cashier. The person you put in front is the face of the business, and today it was a woman named Alyssa. In front of me was a Caucasian Man who also bought a 4-pack, and she went out of her way to explain to him which ones were the flavors of the week and all the different types. He even turned to me & joked, "Now I gotta go to the gym twice." I told him, "It will be worth it." However, when I got to the counter, Alyssa barely gave me eye contact or a greeting so I just went ahead and put in my order. Without looking at me she just said "Oh just put your card in the reader." There was a noticeable difference in treatment in how she treated me versus the Caucasian Man in front of me and the Caucasian blonde mom who came in after me w/ her two kids. Alyssa went out of her way to greet and make the other customers felt welcome. Her vibe made me feel like I was in the South again, where people are not so subtle in their treatment of people from different backgrounds. Also, I always tip 20% or more, and so I think it is odd that the cashier would ask each customer if he or she wants to tip the baker. The screen is literally in front of you. By asking people directly, you are putting them on the spot. I tip no matter what and don't need to be asked. I am taking the time to write this review because I love supporting new and local businesses, and I think customer feedback is what helps motivate improvement. I let Alyssa know we have the kids next week, and so we will come back with them. It was not until I said that she actually made an effort to be nice. However, the baker who brought out my box was really kind and had trouble closing the box. I let her know we were excited this location was newly opened and thanked her for her help. The next time I want to make a purchase here I will look to see who is the cashier. Buying cookies and desserts should be a fun + happy experience. I was disappointed from my first visit to this business in the disparity of customer treatment- not sure if Alyssa had awareness of how she was acting. I hope management will take this review seriously b/c I know our kids would love their cookies. Bought the Twix, Rice Krispies, Orangesicle, PB Cup Reese's, Chocolate Chip and one I think was called Snickerdoodle. Do I have a favorite? Yes, ALL OF THEM, because they were all delicious in their own special way. A box of 6 is $22, that may sound pricey, but we'll worth it if you ask me. Needed to see what the hype was about. It's not just hype, it's quite an experience. Walked in amidst a cheer of welcome to crumble. The energy was light and cheerful. There were two customers ahead who chose to order at the self service so we went up to the cashier. Even though 3 of the 6 flavors we wanted were sold out, we doubled up on the available flavors and settled for a box of 6. We could not resist diving into the box when we got into our car. The cookies were warm and my mouth was greeted with the sweet softness of the cookie dough with perfectly melted chocolate chips. I don't even love sweets and I am not a fan of chocolate but this was delicious. Needless to say, I must return to try the lemon cookie when it's back in stock. Upon entering the shop, I appreciated the employee's patience as I took awhile figuring out whether I wanted the half or dozen cookies; I'm glad I did the half-dozen because each cookie is THICK! I mean, each cookie can be shared by multiple people! No way, could I eat an entire one on my own...it's a dense butter cookie. On to the flavors: I chose the following: cornbread, apple pie, s'mores, chocolate chip, blue raspberry icee, and birthday cake. Out of the 6, I liked s'mores, icee, and bday cake the best. The cornbread was in that it didn't have much flavor...just tasted like a dense butter cookie. Apple pie, while good, was a bit too much for me. This place took FOREVER to open, so when it finally did I may have set myself up to be too excited. I went in with my daughter who was visiting from college. She too was excited. The line was short and the ambiance inside was the trendy vibe of "we are cool", "you are blessed to have us", and "don't ask dumb questions." So there were five cookies to choose from of which only one seemed appetizing. We ordered it, paid the inordinate price, and saw that the money clearly was going to the box the cookie came in. We got to the car, opened the it up, and both took a bite. For the enormous size of the cookie it was impressive that it was well cooked. With that said, it was in fact a cookie. Mind you, I used to live a block from Sprinkles and I only give them a 4, so maybe I'm just not a dessert person. But overpriced basics do not deserve raving reviews just because they are trendy. I will still go there because it was a fair cookie and the packaging makes it a special gift to take to someone's house, but otherwise I'm sticking with Tollhouse at home. read more

Quality is F Cookies&Creme is my favorite Crumbl cookie but from this establishment the cookie was FLAT, crunchy and grainy. Not only was it obviously overdone but the taste was horrible too as if they used different/cheap ingredients. The one star is only because they refunded me and told me to keep the cookie, which I just threw in the trashcan outside. I was so excited for this cookie, the worker gave me a different one trying yo gave me an explanation as of why the cookie was flat instead of fluffy how the normally are, but it tasted exactly the same.
