The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient. I have not actually been into Rise Up Bakery myself, so this review is based entirely on the delightful and delectable cookies I got to try. There was a sugar cookie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, M&M, and several others. I started by pinching off a little piece of one, then another, and then another. Before long I felt like such a little piggy because I had sampled nearly every cookie in the box. The problem was that every time I tried a new one, it was just as good, if not better, than the one before it. I kept thinking I had found my favorite, only to change my mind with the next bite. And these cookies were BIG hoggers too, probably around 6 inches across. These are not little dainty cookies you mindlessly nibble on. They have some size to them, and thankfully the flavor matches. So while I can't review the bakery itself, the atmosphere, or the service just yet, I can absolutely review the cookies. Based on those alone, Rise Up Bakery has definitely gotten my attention. Four stars for now, and mostly because I feel like I need to actually visit the bakery before handing over the fifth.

I normally love your cookies but the store today was an absolute mess. It was dirty, gross and disorganized. I am completely turned off from your store and will never come to get cookies again from this location. Your store was cramped full of people with no word on when our cookies were coming. They had not one but TWO people boxing cookies and they couldn't manage to box more than a 4-pack every minute and a half. Their was no communication between those working behind the counter. They had to stop the entire line from ordering because the register ran out of ones. They were out of one of the specialty cookies. They ONLY SERVE SIX TYPES OF COOKIES. How can you be out of a cookie if your only selling 6. The person in charge a girl no older than 25 looked scatterbrained and couldn't get any one to listen to her. The girl with the neon orange nails was not only rude to customers but other employees as well. The three best employees were Sammy the young girl at the register, and two young men who I believed were named Kyle and Austin? They were all kind and seemed genuinely apologetic for the state of mess the store was in. When I say mess it was disappointing to see what was once such a clean store turn into a mess. The table bottoms are all out of line and look like the ingredients are going to fall onto the floor at any second. There's a fine brown substance caked around the vent in both the lobby and in the kitchen. How negligent have the owners become to not notice such a glaring health hazard in the store. One of the employees had a cleaning rag sticking out of her back pocket. I don't think an item used for cleaning should be placed that close to anybody's behind. I remember this store being clean, well organized and friendly less than a month ago, what happened to this store? I think I'll take my business over to the Queen Creek location instead. Update: I got home and my peanut butter cookie was raw and my chocolate lava had no chocolate inside. Yeah this sealed the deal... Good luck with the business but I will not be dealing with this location again. read more

Have never been here before. But it was talked up by several people. Went in and was shocked by their prices almost $4 for a cookie. We asked about nuts since our kids have but allergies and they said only 2 of them have nuts in them but the facility does have nuts in it (which we totally understand). However, I watched the girl put all of them in the box with the same spatula (cross contaminating all of them). We asked if we could swap out our single cookie in a small box for a different one since we had not taken position of the box yet and the girl said yes. She kept the small box and handed us a cookie in a small bag instead. So we paid for the stupid box and did not even get it. And the frosting was smashed all over the bag. When we tried the sugar cookie it was nothing like Sweetcakes Cookies in Mesa (soft and creamy). It was dry and lacked cookie flavor. Lady who looked like the owner or manager in (round frame eye glasses) did not interact with customers and seemed like she did not want to be there. She was also the person who told the employee to put our replacement cookie in a bag and not give us the box. If the box is so expensive and you are loosing money. You should change your operations. Not cheat the customer. We will never go back. Sorry read more

I tried the chocolate chip cookies at Crumbl at around rush hours yesterday afternoon. There was a line when I arrive but we were served quickly. The cookies were still warm. Oh my goodness they were amazing. They are huge and 1 cookie could easily satisfy two people. However I do think they are pretty pricey and wouldn't be able to splurge very often. 4 cookies were over $11.00 including tax. They would be a nice gift for a friend recuperating from illness or as a thank you gift. The box they are packaged in is very pretty and would make nice presentation. I would recommend this shop for special occasions but way out of my price range on a regular basis. read more

Me and two friends went into the store and got shamed by the assistant manager, Joel, (as we were later informed) in front of the whole entire store. We had our masks hanging on our chin because the girl at the cash register couldn't hear us. A random man from the back started screaming at us to put our masks on or less he was going to kick us out. I had very high hopes for this establishment but the wait for these overpriced cookies in their store was not worth it. Their chocolate chip cookies were dry and basic. We went in and purchased 4 cookies. My daughter is SEVERELY allergic to tree nuts. We asked to have hers boxed separately and we got charged a fee to do so. After spending $13 on 4 cookies you would think you can get a complimentary box/bag to prevent your child from going in to anaphylactic shock. read more

From the food and tea to the gorgeous presentation and impeccable service, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. And seriously, the people at the bakery were SO nice. The lady who took my reservation was really friendly, patient with all my questions, and helpful. Once we arrived, everyone we interacted with was really sweet and made us feel welcome. If you're looking for a whimsical afternoon tea where the food actually tastes as good as it looks, this place is an absolute gem. Also, come hungry. My friend and I skipped breakfast and came around lunch time and we still EACH left with two boxes full of leftovers. They are very generous with the food. One more thing - the afternoon tea is not a one-size-fits-all. You get to pick from a bunch of choices what you want to eat, and what tea you want to drink. They also cater to most dietary restrictions (Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and Nut-Free) as long as you let them know in advance. By that, I do not mean that they prepare the sandwiches and simply remove the meat if you're a vegetarian like me. I had my very own sandwiches, and they were delicious. And last but not least, you can also the order to go if you'd rather host an afternoon tea at home (but, let's face it, it's more fun on site, and they have all the pretty dishes and whatnot!) And if you aren't interested in tea but just want to buy baked goods, dainty little items, or other treats, the shop has a lot to offer. This is a business I'm really happy to endorse!

While it looks like a very small space, they certainly have a lot to offer. First of all, captive audience, as they are the only place that sells food in the collective. Secondly, this is family owned, and operated. They bake and create everything with Love. The mother and her son were there and they helped me narrow down my choices. They serve breakfast sandwiches Thursday through Sunday, they have fresh , organic coffee they make each day, hot, cold, or frozen. They have a fun drink list with coffee, Matcha, and lemonade choices. You can even customize your own. They have delicious fudge brownies, and the cooler which I purchased the cappuccino fudge brownie and it's absolutely delicious. It has so many flavors and textures. It is a whole experience! My favorite thing was the cinnamon raisin bagel that they have. It is not sourdough, but it is absolutely delicious. They even dust the top of it with cinnamon sugar, and it is absolutely delicious. They can toast it there for you or you can grab it to go. They also have delicious fresh cookies, rice, crispy, treats, upside down cakes, and more! I ordered the March Mystery box and it was well worth what I've tried so far (trying to slowly…read moreenjoy my goodies). So far I've tried the brown butter chocolate chip cookie and the walnut streusel coffee cake. The cookie was chocolaty with a touch of salt--delicious! The coffee cake is my favorite though--buttery, crunchy, and lots of cinnamon--my morning treat! Can't wait to try the other two items that came in the box. Would definitely recommend and the surprize is just that--a fun little pick me up!
