I do appreciate the variety of offerings, but was surprised to see a pumpkin cheesecake available but not pumpkin pie! I got a Franken-pie and was disappointed that the apple pie was one of the worst slices out of the bunch, right along with the blueberry pina colada. The texture and flavors of both slices just weren't great. The buttercream was delicious though! I'd come back to give them another chance, if not for the service alone!

The options they offer are a lot of fun! You can get ice cream inside of a donut, in a cone, in a bowl or get the Lesli Knope and get your ice cream between two waffles. We were all pretty happy with our ice cream and the prices weren't bad either.

They were offering free milkshakes to the first 100 participants and we were lucky enough to score one of those gifts! We decided to just take one and share it and decided on the Frozen Hot Chocolate, which is made with Blue Bell chocolate ice cream, hot cocoa mix, chocolate sauce, marshmallow fluff and a "kosher" marshmallow. I'm just not a big sugar fiend so I found the shake to be extremely sweet and gooey...wife loved it! I didn't try the marshmallow but she said it was good and she could tell it was homemade. We decided we would try the store in Gilbert at some point this summer to see what other goodies they offer. Overall, a good treat and thank you for the free goodie! Sorry, there was so much going on at the moment, I didn't take a photo of the actual milkshake!

Service was so good and friendly! I follow them on Tik Tok and the owner seems super cool and kind. I immediately wanted to support them when I saw her videos. I will be back for cupcakes next time and oh they have cookies and marshmallows and more!! Must try!!!!

Really loved the cinnamon sugar yum yum! My biggest turn off was the dough was really tough on the edges, so much my jaw was getting tired lol (even started aching). So I'm not sure what that is about. I also just came back from NOLA so comparing that dough to this dough, there's just something missing to give it that edge. Services was friendly and communicative, they let me know they needed time to get my order and how long the order would take. There were 2 parties ahead of me and it took 10 min. Also check their page/IG before you go, they update regularly, I had planned to go and right before I left I saw they posted they cancelled. So I'll def be back and I recommend you check out. perhaps it was just a one off, as long as the dough is not as tough as before, I'll keep coming back. 3 for 10$

I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. AZ Chimney Cakes specializes in Kürtöskalács, a.k.a chimney cakes, an incredible dessert that originated in Hungary. I have Romanian roots and Kürtöskalács are quite popular in Romania. That's where I had my first chimney cake. Located in the same shopping center as a movie theater, a Japanese restaurant, and a bunch of other businesses, I parked without any issues in the free back lot and walked over. Ambiance (4/5): A cozy dessert shop. I felt right at home when I saw a map of Bucharest by the entrance. You order at the counter and then they bring your order out to you. We sat at a table close to the door. Service (5/5): Friendly service and we were fortunate enough to chat with the owner for quite a bit. We learned about the history of the dessert spot and how they're trying out some new ideas. Nice lady. Drinks (N/A): No drinks for me on this visit. Food (5/5): If you've never has a chimney cake, you're in for a treat. They're made to order and customizable. More so than anywhere I've ever seen. You choose your base, toppings, additions, and drizzles. I went with the traditional chimney cake with Biscoff cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Nutella drizzle. Outside of the dessert options, which are the way to go for first timers, if you're feeling adventurous, they also have one or two savory options. The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. So cool to have them in Mesa!
