We were passing through Amarillo and I wanted to stop by Crumbl to check out their holiday flavors. We got: - Eggnog (chilled) - Snickerdoodle I was pleased by how quick and efficient the ordering to pick-up process was here. Another plus was that the staff was incredibly kind. My cookies were great from here, as usual. I am obsessed with the eggnog one and will be impatiently awaiting its return. read more

I didn't get there on their opening day a few days ago but I finally got there last night. I was a little surprised at the price of the cookies but later when I was nibbling on them at home I realized that each cookie is so huge it probably equals a delicious cupcake in a different shape. They are huge, bigger than the palm of my hand, and thick. The first thing I noticed was how wonderful the place smelled even from outside. There was a long line. It probably took me 30 minutes from the time I got in line to the time I walked out with my cookies. I got a four pack for a little under $13. I took a little bite of each one just to taste as soon as I got to my car. They are very good and the icings are incredible! I would definitely buy the sugar cookie again and also the one with the cream cheese frosting, carrot cake cookie I think it was? My pictures didn't turn out that great because the Sun and shadows just weren't right. Right at sunset. I went to the movies when I left the cookie store and then when I got home I broke off about a third of each cookie to taste again before I went to bed. One thing I noticed was the cookies are very soft. They might have even needed to be cooked longer, especially the chocolate chip cookie which was very thick. If you like cookie dough you'll love this one! I usually prefer my cookies a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside if at all possible. That's hard with store-bought cookies. I got the carrot cake, chocolate chip, sugar cookie, and a peanut butter with chocolate frosting cookie. All were delicious. My mother was an excellent cookie maker so it's pretty hard to beat her cookies but that sugar cookie comes pretty close and the frosting is spot on. I would go in and just buy the frosting from them if I could. Maybe I will ask next time. They had tons of employees, probably three at the front counter and what seem to be around a dozen in the back trying to keep up with the demand between baking them and frosting them. It was kind of cute to see the table with several girls standing around it frosting the cookies and having fun together. Everyone was cheerful and friendly and the place looked incredibly clean. I didn't get a picture of it but next to the big cookies were a few little cookies. I asked about the little cookies and was told they were for parties and catering but I didn't catch what the guy said about ordering them. He might have said that you have to order a minimum of them or something. I'll have to ask about that next time. I realize they've got a winning concept already but if I was to make a suggestion it would be to make up a box of those little cookies that included one of each flavor they carry and sell it for a set price so that people new to the concept could buy a sampler, like buying a sample box of candy so you can try a lot of different kinds. read more

I'd heard so much about this place... friends would go to Lubbock and must-stop was Crumbl and they would post about their cookies and so forth. We tried it. Their app would not work for me - I don't know why - I could never set up an account. So, that added a bit to my wait. I caught a line. But not as long as I'd seen before. We got a box of all the flavors and cut into quarters so we could all try all the flavors. We only went that once. We were not blown away. All four of us in my family agreed they were just too sweet. I got pretty sick it was so sweet. It overpowered whatever flavors they were supposed to be. The ambience was nothing special that I noticed. But I was also in pain from standing so long in line so I may not have paid that much attention to decorum. Service was ok - but nothing really stood out. Just more waiting after I ordered. I was in Amarillo recently for a trip and I was happy to find out that they recently opened a Crumbl Cookies. Just like all the other Crumbl's, it's best to order online ahead of time. The cookies are prepared to order, and every week is a new selection of flavors. The Amarillo location was great, cookies were of course delicious, and the employees were top notch and very polite. Definitely will come again when traveling here in the future! read more

I just can't take the bitter old lady in there any longer. She's so mean and unhappy. Her mom started the store, and she shames you if you don't buy their products. I won't be talked down to anymore in there by her, and be shamed for not buying "her products" as if I'm not trying to make the best decisions for helping my family. I'll take the thousands I spend each year to an establishment that has better PR skills. read more

Not bad. Cookies are LARGE, like the size of a beef patty So get ready to be stuffed. Hard to finish 1, very sweet but hey it's a cookie! Your options are limited on a weekly basis so if you're looking for a particular cookie I'd check in and see what they have that week. I got the 4 pack for $18 and some change, yea steep but again these cookies are BIG and made fresh. Crazy but out of the chocolate chip, blueberry cheesecake, and the cosmic brownie the OG chocolate chip was my least favorite. I enjoyed the BB cheesecake. Some are more doughy than others. I prefer a crispier cookie. All in all they make a good cookie. read more

The store front is cute, but there is limited space to wait for your order to be called. The cookies are big, nicely decorated, and a treat for specialty occasions. Crumbl of Amarillo gets only 2 stars because the small waiting area gives you a view of the bakery in full. The girl working the register who handled cash, proceeded to wipe her hands all over the counters to "clean" and then without changing her gloves began to make cookies. For the price, perhaps the employees need more training on how to properly handle food. read more

Overpriced in my opinion. The cookies are good, especially the peanut butter ones, but I wish they offered smaller cookies that are a little cheaper. The cookies are massive and we normally don't finish them and then it goes to waste. A smaller option would be so much better. I always order online. If they get busy, it takes a while to get through the line. Cute store, but it is small and it's a grab and go so don't expect to stay and eat. Overall, pretty good but could be better. read more

When it's my day to take donuts to work I usually stop at Dunkin Donuts but today I thought I'd splurge and take Crumbl Cookies. As I drove up to the establishment I was already thinking of how many cookies to buy. Lights were on and the doors were open. I entered to a "welcome to Crumbl". As I studied the menu I was approached by an employee who told me "unfortunately we don't have anything ready and won't until 8. That is actually when we open". In small business you only get one shot at a first time customer. This one will return to his reliable Dunkin Donuts. read more

It was my first time there. I thought the service left a lot to be desired. There was 2 other customers in the store besides me. No one welcomed me or ask me if they could help. When I got to the cashier, I told her I hadn't been there before. I asked for a gift card she just stared at me, so I began scanning the room for the gift cards. I finally found them and handed her one. She didn't give me a total or receipt. I got to my car and realized I had no receipt (I always get the receipt when I purchase gift cards). When I went back in the cashier looked surprised when I asked for a receipt. No apology or smile; just a look of high frustration. As I scan the reviews I can see that good service may not be a high priority for this franchise. The good news is the cookie was delicious. I wish my experience buying it would have been commensurate to the taste of the cookie! read more

First time visit which will be the last time. The cookies are very doughy. I bought the six pack for $18 plus dollars; not worth the cost. The favors were not so unique and there was no surprise. The biggest issue is to pay that much money for six doughy cookies is crazy. This place won't be around for that long. You can buy many more fresh donuts for that price and at least that are cooked properly. read more
