While they've changed some of the restaurant's interior, the same great service and menu awaits each guest, whether a returning customer or an Amarillo newcomer! And one step in Malcolm's gives you a sense of the 1950s/1960s Amarillo that you've read stories about! We brought our kids here when they were babies and they've grown up enjoying it! And I enjoyed it before then, even in high school. Malcolm's has been a mainstay in Amarillo's landscape for decades and I'm glad it's not going anywhere!

Went through last night with my wife and two kids. Bought $35 worth of food in the drive thru. Everything was barely warm, there were hardly any fries in each meal and they were mushy at this point. 2 people's chicken strips and a chicken sandwich was nearly cold. The only thing hot was the gravy. So if I had to guess we got pulled up to wait on gravy after they made the rest of our food and let it sit there. No ranch in the bag either after asking what sauce we wanted.

Parking lot was full and I must say the # of spaces is way to few. That'll surely be a problem. The service way great. Lots of staff to handle the load. Ice cream line was 10+ deep and there were several in the donut line. Of course my ice cream didn't disappoint. It's heaven :-). The only thing I'm sad about is there is no longer 31 favors to choose from in the DD/BR combo stores. I will return. OFTEN!!!
