Our AC stopped working on the hottest day of the year Sunday but he had it repaired in under an hour after diagnosing the bad part. He had it in his truck and was done very quickly. He then did service on our furnace which has always had issues and replaced a small part on that very quickly and did a full cleaning. Very professional and in and out in under 2 hours. We have used Schuler Heating & Cooling for a number of years because of this kind of great service and very reasonable prices - and will continue to use them!

My HVAC guy and Trane determine it is the motherboard. NOBODY seems to stock these and ETA is 2 days to arrive. I called everywhere I could find that was local-- because my HVAC guy was not going to do the legwork. I suspect most furnace guys try to sell you a new furnace because the part is NOT cheap and it is a bit labor-intensive to install. So- I got a hold of Phil. Not only did he HAVE the part, he was willing to wait for me to drive the 1+ hours to get to his shop to pick it up. Problem solved, heat again within 4 hours of making contact with Phil. While we didn't use their HVAC services since we live so far away-- I am confident you'd be happy in dealing with them. Not only because he has an arsenal of parts to get you up and running which he sells by his on-line business, but he seems like a great businessman. He knows what goes wrong regularly with furnaces, therefore he orders inventory accordingly. And, he seems very trustworthy and nice guy to do business with. Divide and conquer: Clayton handled the flush...no problems there, while Kyle tackled the water hammer, which speculated might be the result of a faucet cartridge I improperly installed. But he checked everything...water feed under the sink and even pipes in the basement (which he snugged since it looked like one of them was loose). Then it was back to the sink and the faucet cartridge. The good news? I hadn't muffed the installation! I just looked like the part was a lemon. Better news? He had the part on hand. Even better news? Both projects cost less than expected, even without using a discount card I had forgotten was taped to the fridge. In. Out. Done and done, but not before they did a thorough check for leaks. They were followed by Josh who talked me through the wide variety of furnaces they offer. Being that the unit was originally purchased from and installed by Air Guys, I called several times to try and speak to the service manager. After leaving two messages, someone finally put me on hold to relay my concern to the service manager who never spoke to me or returned any of my calls. I was informed that their installation service was non- transferable, and that they were too busy to come out. I was told to call someone else. I asked if they warranted their AC installation service, and couldn't get a definitive answer. I'm highly upset at the way that I was treated when I needed their help! After all, they were the original installers, and the unit itself is still under warranty!
