After being a customer for over 13 years they refused to do business with us any longer because I was able to get a quote for a new furnace at less than half the price because of the business I'm in. From $20k to $7k. I guess I'm only a valued customer if I'm paying the BIG bucks. We also had a problem with them making a repair without prior cost authorization. They sell you furnace/AC system with 10-year warranty, but they don't register the warranty as 10 yrs from manufacture, so they don't honor their warranty when you have another contractor come and replace the part. Come to find out they never filed paperwork with manufacturer to honor 10-yr warranty, so manufacturer shows you only have a 5-yr warranty. Won't reimburse you either for that part under warranty. Wonder how many other customers think they have a 10-year warranty on parts, but Just in Time heating never properly filed the warranty with distributor/manufacturer? There is only one distributor that handles local area for parts, so all contractors use same distributor. Furnace heat exchangers and compressors should have a 20 or 30 yr warranty after talking with other contractors, but Just in Time heating offers 10 years. Any contractor can do warranty work if the part is warranted. Reason another contractor did the work is, Just in Time heating charges are double, they say a part is not under warranty when it should be under warranty, want to tell you other parts are bad but when you have another contractor come out for second opinion, that contractor says that part is working just fine. Charged $180.00 to replace a 5-amp fuse that cost pennies to replace on the furnace, took maybe 5 mins to remove cover and replace fuse then put cover back on. Just in Time Heating always tries to sell more than what is actually needed. Charges to come out and look, charges for installation fees, charges for part that should be under warranty, Wont honor the warranty. After having a lot of plumbing work done, I found I had been double charged for 1 item. The said they would credit it back, then tried to credit back less than I paid. The following day, a hose bib they installed would not close, spewing water all over my patio. Then I found out they lied about the 25 month financing (turned out to be 12 month). Their brochure showed the finance company offering 25 months interest free. Later the finance company (Service Finance) informed me they do not even offer a 25 month option. Just wanted to say how impressed I was with Donovan and Matt from Just In Time HVAC company. They came to my house to look at my water heater. Within a minute they diagnosed my problem, then they explained different options that would fit my needs and my budget. They made it very easy, and after they explained the ease of it, I went for a tankless water heater. They set up an appointment, relit my pilot light, and even noticed that I was having trouble with my furnace exhaust pipe, as it was nearly had no rise to it, which he explained could cause carbon monoxide issues. He brought new pipe when he came to do the main job, which I might add they fixed as part of the overall job for free! Donovan was always looking to make sure his new work and my existing work would be safe and efficient. He noticed my intake gas pipe was only hand tight, he fixed that. He was always working, spotting, and figuring out what was the best for each spot, while Matt used his youth and strength to effortlessly lift everything up and down from the truck to my basement and back. Overall an amazing job, with a price point over a thousand dollars less than other quotes. If you have a heating or air issue, I would highly recommend you call JustInTime first and have them out. I had another company look for the "so called" crack and they couldn't find it. Restarted the furnace and has been working fine since. Trying to sell us something we didn't need.... I had my furnace stop working at 10:30 pm last winter. They were the closest and the only ones answering the phone at the time. They told me it would be $100 just to show up but they would credit that toward the repair if I chose to have them fix it. They replaced a part, that I found out the next day was a $145 part and took only 30 min to install, and then charged me $550 for the repair. I checked the next day with two other reputable companies and they both told me that the repair, even at that time of night, would have been around $400 - $420. Armed with that info, I called these guys and asked why so high of a cost with them and if they were willing to refund the higher charge down to the $400 - $420 range. They said no and started attacking me about the fact that I cussed when told the cost of the repair charge. Sorry, but that's usually what happens when it's -8° outside with a windchill of -38° and some repair guy is saying 'well, just pay me the $100 service call fee and call someone else!' and the temp in the house is already down to 47°. They were very rude about the entire situation and very overpriced. Too bad they didn't educate their repairman to assess the situation and realize that my furnace is old and that it would soon be in need of replacement. Had they done that, he could have given me a great price and made me happy knowing that by doing that, I would be calling them right now since I'm in the market for a complete replacement of my furnace and AC. Just by ripping me off the extra $150, they're now losing thousands because I would never dream of calling them now!! There's no character in holding someone's wallet hostage in the middle of the night with extreme cold temps outside knowing that, no matter what, you're getting $100 just for showing up. If they would have just been fair in the pricing, I would be asking them to come out and quote me a price on the replacement of my furnace and AC. Instead, I'm using one of their competitors. read more

A repairman named Troy came out to service my dryer ventilation and when the problem was revealed to be more intense than originally thought he spent most of a day here installing my new ventilation and fixing my dryer so my house doesn't burn down lol. Last year, we had them clean the ducts, which was ok. While they were out, we had them also check the coils. They found cracks in the furnace, so we decided to use them for a new furnace. What a fiasco. On the appointed day, they did not show up. Apparently, a staff meeting had been called and no one notified the customers. Should have cancelled the whole thing then but they had my check already. They sent a crew out hours later than the scheduled time (more than 4 hours late). This summer we noticed water collecting on the furnace and called again. The owner came out and all he could do is complement his guys on a great install. Nothing was checked to make sure no water was dripping into the exchange, etc. There was even a screw missing that would have prevented some of the dripping happening outside the unit. I called a competitor this fall to check the furnace before we turned it on for the winter. Could not believe the sloppy installation, etc. WE WILL NEVER, EVER USER OR RECOMMEND JUST IN TIME FOR ANYTHING. Horrible. read more

I have used this business on two occasions, and have found them to be extremely overpriced for their service. For one of the repairs... I paid over $450.00 to have a part replaced on my furnace, to find out that the part should have been approximately $50.00, and it took their service tech 30 minutes to install. The same issue came back less than 60 days later, but I chose not to call them again. I did receive a quote from them on another job, but luckily I called someone else and was able to have the repair done for less than half of the price they quoted me. read more
