On top of that, there were obvious new stitches added that hadn't been there before, and they didn't even remotely match the fabric or color of the knit. I also brought in a trench coat, which came back with all the same stains untouched -- honestly, for the best considering what happened to the dress. When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. Please do not trust them with valuable clothing, especially anything sentimental like a wedding dress.

She is kind, attentive and thoughtful....also incredibly clever at stain removal even for what I consider difficult stains. Last winter, I'd brought in a cherished sweater with a moth hole, only to see the hole become invisible on return, to my amazement. She had not promised magic, in fact was cautious when she saw the hole, but she worked hard to create magic. I have been extremely pleased and relieved to have someone as reliable as Lee's in the neighborhood. And even if it weren't in the neighborhood, I'd probably make the effort to go there - over the advertised and promoted cleaners all around.

I very clearly instructed her to cut five inches off the bottom and then turn it up and hem it. I returned back the following week and I paid her $45.00 dollars to do it. Well, the sewing job was done well, however, she refuses to cut off as much as I wanted. She only cut off about two inches and then turned it up and hemmed it. I'm going to need to take it to someone else to redo it now. She is so ridiculously obstinate and controlling that she is unreliable like that. I told her that I had other dresses from Temu that I also want to have fixed. Unfortunately, even though she sews very well I'm not going to be able to give her return business.

Dry cleaning was cheap, I believe he beat the competition back then, and the work quality was good! He actually subcontracted to a guy who did it for him in bulk. But as people shifted to more casual dressing at work, that contactor stopped due to lack of volume. That was around 2019 more or less. So the guy just couldn't do it at the same price, nor the same pace and he didn't have the same tools to maintain the same quality. I went to someone else to get my shirts done. But for other stuff, I'd still rely on him. Haven't had any business at his place since about mid 2019. In all my years, he only messed up once while cleaning a pant. Luckily it was an old pant with zero value. I think it was just that his machine was too old. The real and biggest problem was that he progressively started to become more and more unpredictable with his official store opening hours. YOu'd stop by when he was suppsoed to be open and it would be closed. You'd need to call him to make sure he was there to pick up. And as time passes by, he would not finish the job by the promised date. It wasn't a big deal for me, but I can understand that it's an issue for others. Feels like he didn't care much about the business anymore... I don't know if he's still in business or retired, I often see the shop closed when I drive by. I'm hoping he still working. I'd rely on him for things that require high skills because he does know really his stuff, especially when it comes to old or forgotten tailor techniques. But for things where time is the essence, I would not rely on him.

My wife had her wedding dress altered here for our wedding and then dry cleaned afterwards. Yang was professional and courteous throughout the entire process. The alteration process was a bit long, requiring multiple visits, but Yang was receptive to any changes that we wanted. I appreciate that after any work is done, he allowed us to check his work and if there was anything we weren't happy with he was opening to making the changes. Overall, I feel like his prices are reasonable for the work he does. My only strong word of advice is to make sure to call ahead before coming into the store to make sure that whatever work is done because usually he's behind schedule.
