The service seemed great, if expensive, at first. I started to notice things returned with stains and thought I must have missed them. Then I received several orders in a row where whites were clearly washed with something dark and stains appeared on things that were not there before. I also used to think I had clearly put in socks without their mates until they lost a sock that was part of a pair I specifically made sure was put in together. Finally, twice my bags were delivered to the wrong building despite explicitly clear instructions. It was so convenient (again, if expensive) but I'm not willing to put my things at risk of damage, loss, or wrong delivery for what they charge. read more

Very convenient. They keep you up to date on when the courier is coming and were correct about the pickup and drop-off times. I have comforters and curtains I've been meaning to do and just never get around to it. So I thought I would try with the guest room comforter first. The problem is that I sent a comforter. It had stains, which were not removed or addressed. (Not even a comment "we tried to remove but could not"). And it came back stuffed in a bag all wrinkles. A dry cleaner would have put on a hanger, at least. It did smell fresh (slightly). Otherwise I would have doubted they did anything at all. Worth it with the intro offer, but will be going back to my local dry cleaner with other items. read more

The shirts came back in worse shape than when we sent them. My son said the guy had them in his trunk, not hanging up. They had long creases all along the front and back. AWFUL! NEVER AGAIN! I am writing this in the hope that it will be useful to someone, as I am extremely dissatisfied with a recent experience I had regarding an order I received from Rinse. When my bag with clothes arrived, I noticed multiple red spots on every single item I checked. I immediately contacted customer support, and they arranged to have everything returned for inspection and resolution. However, since then, I have not received any answers, which they promised, about the cause of the problem, the nature of the red spots, or any meaningful communication from their team. I have requested to speak with a supervisor several times, but each time I was met with the same generic response and no follow-up (never received a call). It has been more than a week and this lack of communication and failure to address the issue in a timely manner is extremely frustrating. At this point, I have no hopes they will provide a detailed explanation of what happened and the steps being taken to resolve the issue. For a service that promises to be a time-saver for busy people, Rinse has ultimately failed. Under these circunstancies, I cannot recommend this service whatsoever. I've been using Rinse for over a year and I'm very satisfied. They're reliable and my clothes come back neatly folded. I had to ask for certain accommodations because I'm disabled, and my needs were met with no problem. The valets are always friendly and pleasant. I've noted other reviews that talk about problems with the service. I've run into a couple glitches, but they were resolved quickly by Rinse. For example, I once complained that my clothes weren't folded properly (this has only happened once). They credited my account for the service and then offered to do the load over again at no charge. I have been using Rinse off and on for about two years and never had a bad experience as I've read in other reviews. Their customer service is very helpful with a quick turnaround to any questions I have had. My very first order was returned with a strong perfumy scent but when I called to make them aware, they said I should request "Hypoallergenic" as my laundry would then be washed in unscented detergent. That solved my problem for all my future orders. I have never had a bad experience with their washing services or pickup/ delivery timing. Using Rinse saves me considerable time when I have an over-busy schedule. I recommend using Rinse! read more

My apartment doesn't have a washer/dryer so I use this service pretty regularly, however I keep having items go missing. I really love my clothes and get attached to them so I have to stop using Rinse. I have less socks, underwear, pillow cases, and wash cloths after each delivery. And sometimes they lose large items like towels, dresses, and shirts. I'm not sure why this is such a recurring issue. They really need to pay better attention to washing each person's order separately and ensuring that all items are returned. read more

They started out good. Then they lost my underwear and I got someone elses. I called their costumer service number and they sent me a text telling me they will resolve the issue and I will get a link to file my complaint. I thought maybe a discount on the next service. I called again and complained I never received a link and they said to send them a website where I order a couple of underwear I ordered from and send them a website I found with my underwear however they didn't provide an email or link to send it to. I called again to complain. I simply told them that I wasn't going to do all the work and with no where to send it to and they should have had someone from customer care reach out to me after my third called and explain what to do. I all already decided not to use their company again but I wanted my complaint on file. They're good until something goes wrong. I threw all of my underwear away. I just don't know whose I got back. I have used multiple laundry delivery services in the past and decided to give Rinse a try. Pros: valet showed up on time and was easy to communicate with, no hassle drop off and pick up. Cons: quite pricey. It cost $60 for one large load of laundry. The wash was also very hard on my clothes - several pairs of underwear had new holes in them and had to be replaced, and 2 pairs of pants had shrunk to the point of being unwearable. I have never had this happen with other laundry services in the past. Overall, the service is very convenient, but considering I had to pay a lot of money only to have my clothes destroyed, I would NOT recommend Rinse. read more

if you are trying to have items back by a specific date, don't count on it with Rinse. I was waiting around at home because they were supposed to pick up my items at 9:30 which turned into 10:05 and then I got a message saying that they were cancelling my pickup. Even with their rush order which is an additional $10, i wouldn't have my items back before leaving on a work trip later in the week. When I told them that I was upset about what happened, they let a loyal customer go instead of trying to do what they could to get my items back in time. Don't do it! Messed up one of my J.Crew blazers during dry cleaning (heat damage) and then had the audacity to tell me it was due to "wear and tear." None of my other blazers/blouses have ever had the same "wear and tear." As a result of my not wearing the blazer right away and not immediately noticing, I didn't report it till after their 14 day policy, I assumed it would be returned without damages, silly me! They attempted to repair it, pics of the damage and their horrible repair attempts attached. I am now out the cost of the blazer, as well as the dry cleaning fee. I'm very happy with this service. Clothes smell great, nicely folded, even organized by type once returned. My tips to SAVE MONEY though cuz it can get pricey!! - Don't get any separately priced items done (comforters, bathmats) - Don't do your hang-dry laundry with them ($3/item) - Do the $60/month plan. Even one person makes that much laundry a month and it will always be cheaper than even one bag by the pound cost, at least in my experience. I have the Rinse Repeat laundry subscription and it works for me. The only reason I had to cancel is because I am moving out of their service area. I have been a customer for a few years and I think they are awesome. The valets are so kind and helpful. Many times because I live on the second floor they have offered to bring my bag upstairs when I tell them to just bring it on the porch. The customer service is also excellent. Beware: A massive ripoff! First and only time using this service. I had clearly labeled three bags for them whites, colors, hang dry. They messed up the order and combined the colors and hang dry for wash&fold and hang dried the whites. This is the WORST laundry company I have ever used. TWICE now they have outsourced my laundry to some POS laundry mat that can't even be bothered to fix their washers and dryers. Rinse ended up recovering my clothes, and the manager wrote a personal note apologizing for the mix up, plus my clothes felt extra clean after I received it. While this wasn't a fun experience, and the process to get it back was a pain, but I appreciate it when someone takes the time to write a response and acknowledge their mistakes. I couldn't pause the subscription while traveling and when I left the subscription I lost my existing wash credit. The note below says to email their customer service with my complaints. Really satisfied with Rinse. Their prices are very reasonable (pretty much the same as a normal dry cleaner), but the door-to-door service makes it incredibly worth it. If you live in an area where they deliver there's literally no reason not to use them over of lugging your stuff down the block to a laundromat. I've used it a dozen times now and it's always been great. Never lost an item. When I sent them a shirt that had a hole they sent me a text letting me about it and offered to fix it! The app is really slick and makes it easy to schedule pickups (you can also text them too), and everything from the design of their bags to the professionalism of the drivers makes it feel like a high-quality operation. I've never had a request they couldn't accommodate. I've only used it for dry cleaning so far since my building has laundry, but my roommate uses it for wash-and-fold and has been very happy with it. read more

My laundry is always handled well, and I like that the drivers always scan the QR code on my bag before they pick it up so I know that the company has a record of my items when they leave. The team is responsive to requests to drop off timing, and can always accommodate changes before 4p the day of if I find out I won't be home that night. Used Rinse twice, and both times something went wrong. The first time, an item of clothing was lost. The second time, my laundry was lost so I received a bag of clothes with some of my items and items belonging to someone else. I am missing more than half of what I sent in. It has been several days and my clothing has still not been located, and I am now out several hundreds of dollars in clothes. While customer service has been nice over the phone, there doesn't seem to be any urgency to resolving this issue. I would not recommend you use this service. read more
