Prices start at $5.00 a load for washers and $1 per 20 minutes for the dryers, not exactly the cheapest thing but compared to paying for a laundry service I think it's a great deal. Also rent isn't cheap in Boston so I think the prices are very fair when you take that into account. Quarters only, but there is an ATM and quarter machine inside. I've only seen the quarter machine run out once but someone came in to refill it ~10 minutes after it ran out so not a huge deal. I usually try to bring my own quarters though so that I can guarantee having change without having to wait.

I hope in the future the laundry people can think of something to do in this situation so that this doesn't happen again. The chlorine gas production is potentially fatal or can cause bad injuries. The laundry room is not very ventilated. Overall, not sure if i would use this place again.

I was devastated when Lazy Bones laundry service stopped servicing my area as I am mobility handicapped and live on the top floor of a non-elevator building that has a washer and dryer in the basement. The repeated up-and-down to do laundry in the building is out of the question for me and taking a taxi to a laundromat is expensive. For a year I handwashed all my clothes. Finally I found RINSE. I have used their services twice so far. I waited to give two tries before reviewing here. They deserve the 5 stars. With RINSE my clothes (and other laundry such as blankets) are washed, folded and packaged flawlessly. The pick-up and delivery has been equally flawless with regular text communications from the RINSE office as reminders of pickup as well as delivery/dropoff tracking. I asked the valet who delivered my wash most recently if he would carry it up to my apartment door, which he did cheerfully, but he refused a tip because RINSE does not allow their valet staff to accept tips (saying they pay good wages to make tips unneccessary). The cost of using RINSE is no more expensive than if I used a laundromat, but in terms of convenience and making my life easier it is priceless. I recommend RINSE. read more

We've been using Rinse for a little over a year now and it has been such a great experience, each time! I throw my husbands clothes, all towels, and my clothes, and baby clothes in one bag and they arrive back folded and ready to put away. If I accidentally throw in a delicate fabric/ hang dry or dry clean item into my standard bag, I get a text and they'll hold that item aside, ensuring my clothes are washed properly. We do rush delivery for an extra $5.99 and it saves us SO much time, we'll never go back. We just switched to the new "rinse repeat" model and were really thrilled with how big the bag is. The fixed price is a great deal, given how frequently we use the service. Customer service is excellent - there was one day last spring where deliveries were delayed due to a snow storm. I had a flight out for a trip and all my vacation clothes were in my rinse delivery. The manager made a special trip to hand deliver my order to me. Really can't recommend the service enough! read more

It didn't take long for me to become a full Rinse convert. After my first wash and fold order came back tightly folded and smelling fresh, I sent in dry cleaning. Prices are reasonable for door-to-door service and now my winter coats and sweaters are all clean for next fall. Next I sent in dress shirts for repairs on busted-out elbows and they came back looking new to the unknowing eye. Since Rinse came to Boston, I've done less than 3 loads of my own laundry. Just think of what you might do with all that extra time not folding laundry and then you'll know exactly why I continue to be a happy Rinse customer. read more

Friendly and easy...I've been looking for a laundry service that didn't involve giving my keys away or being home at odd hours. Rinse texts me on regular pick up days and drop off days and asks if I'll be home. The hours are usually when we are all home 8-10. If I want to skip a week, I skip a week. Then they actively check in as to when I need another pick up. And when I text the number that texts me, a person responds! Also, it charges my CC which is amazing. No more looking for cash or quarters. I hope RINSE is here to stay! read more

I miss the 24hr laundromats in nyc that play Law&Order all day. My local laundromat plays Britney Spears and is a hotbed of clothing theft. I would still defend it from anyone who badmouths it but I don't enjoy doing laundry there. Rinse has been wonderful when we NEED clean towels/clothes/sheets. Tried their service for the first time and I'm very satisfied. Prompt service and clear information, and above all, clean and neatly folded laundry! The drivers (the valets) I met have been super friendly and did not appear rushed in the way other drivers (Uber, Fedex, food delivery) often are. The only thing that annoys me is that duvet covers cost $15 extra, as they would be part of my weekly laundry... fingers crossed that that changes! read more

In early April 2019, I took a pair of pants to be dry cleaned. The pant is styled with a large tie front belt that completes the look. It was attached to the garnet (see image of the dry cleaning receipt). Owner returns without the belt and then has the audacity to berate my extremely sweet, mild-mannered daycare provider when she goes to inquire about the belt. He even tells her that he doesn't care if I take my business elsewhere-there are plenty of customers in JP. Thinking this is one big misunderstanding, I go to the cleaner and ask him to help locate the belt. Should have been a simple request-long term customer, belt lost, let me be as helpful as I can. Not this guy-he gives a bunch of lame excuses (i.e., the belt was tagged differently, it wasn't on the pant, I might have dropped it, etc) and doesn't even try to help locate the belt. So I followed his advice and now take my business to someone who understands how to handle customers more appropriately. And Centre Cleaners-glad you can afford to lose a customer. Keep that up and it might cost you your business over time!

On top of that, they shut off the lights and force customers out right at 8:50, even if machines are still running--despite starting them well before the final call. We were rushed out mid-process, which is incredibly frustrating especially when we just spent $100 worth of laundry at this facility. Most laundromat's I've been to in the past at least let you stay a few mins past close if you have less than 10 mins left on the dryer. To make things worse, James continued yelling at us in the parking lot after we called out his behavior toward the deaf customer. No one should be treated that way. Clean space or not, the staff's attitude is unacceptable. I would not recommend supporting a business that treats customers like this.
