There is a big community vibe going on. We even heard about bingo night and a couple other upcoming events. We hung out in the front area near the fireplace. There are board games, as well as arcade games available to play. You can download the app to pay for song to play on the digital jukebox. Plenty of room if in the dancing mood. A couple pool tables in the back. I had no idea there was a back patio area with several standing tables and plenty of standing space. The restrooms separate the spaces. The bartenders were nice and attentive. We were served right away. Had a great time laughing, playing games, and singing to our jukebox requested songs.

The employees here spent too much time worrying about keeping up with the latest gossip of social media, more than attending to the needs of their customers. Worrying more about how many "Likes" they got on a selfie, rather than Worrying about their DAMN customer service. This will definitely not be my go-to hang out spot, anymore. Putting the oldies on the backburner was probably the worst decision the owners made. And in regards to the blonde chick Freshy, who clearly belongs at a strip club, grinding up on a pole, needs to get booted. Please take Coast 101 elsewhere. She controlled the jukebox as much as she control her phone. I may not have had a warm beer. but when I put 6.00 in the box, I never heard my songs because she kept blasting her Sade and Lionel Richie. Even though we share the same nickname, id prefer if she not play his sappy ass. If you want to do your dedication, do them somewhere else. Been a regular client for many years and longtime military veteran. Everyone here is usually really awesome except when I came on 10/1 they had recently just hired a new bartender Alexandria who was incredibly rude. She showed up to work drunk and not only did she not know a lot of the customers drinks she was overpouring the drinks. She also confessed to lying about domestic abuse in order to put her ex boyfriend in jail and ruin his life. Hopefully the owner and someone in management knows they have a walking liability and lawsuit waiting to happen. I hope management takes action, until then crows is headed down a bad direction and it is concerning. read more

I wish I could give this shithole no stars. crow's used to be such a great place with good bartenders who knew what they were doing and patrons who were mature. Now it's full of idiot frat boys and fat, bitchy bartenders who think they're hot yet take 30 minutes to uncap a beer. Don't bother going here unless you want shitty service from snarky idiots. read more

I wish I could give this bar 1/2 a star. This is one of the worst bars I've ever been to. This bar reminds me of a really bad coke bar from the 80s. It's full of knuckleheads (see Shawn E's review) and the bartenders aren't very good. Never go here. Ever. read more

I want to start with I've come to this bar over 30 times and spent money almost every time not only on drinks, but pool and the juke box. My partner and I took a long bike this morning and decided to stop in for some free pool. The man at the bar followed with you have to spend money to play pool for free. I am recently sober and just wanted to play pool. I've never been greeted this way at this establishment. He told us to leave or buy a drink. We kindly told him to fuck off and unfortunately I will never step foot in this bar ever again. Our close friend passed away recently and they are having a Remembrance Birthday but unfortunately I will not be attending because I'm appalled at the way we were treated. You've lost my partner, me, and our friends as neighborhood customers and I will continue to tell friends and family not to go to this bar. Never seen this bartender in all my time of going here and hope I never see him again in my life. Sorry to the bartenders I've built good relationships with but do yourself a favor find another bar that will treat you like a community because this will never be the one.

It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.
