I really wanted to give this spot a higher rating because my wife and I LOVE Crown Fried Chicken at other locations , but this visit fell a bit short. Let's start with the bright side--the customer service The woman behind the counter was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. She really did her best to make up for what ended up being a pretty frustrating order experience, and that effort definitely didn't go unnoticed Now for the food and ordering issues... We ordered the mango habanero wingettes, and listen--I understand saucy wings... but these were swimming ‍ It was more like a pool of sauce than a glaze. There's a difference between flavorful and flooded. The first mixup - We also ordered spicy wings expecting wingettes, but instead got a standard box of regular chicken wings Not exactly what we had in mind. Then came the second mix-up with the falafel salad... which came out as a falafel sandwich To their credit, they let us keep it at no cost and remade the salad , but that added even more wait time. Unfortunately, neither the sandwich nor the salad really hit. More specifically, the falafel itself just wasn't good. And as people who genuinely love salads, and like falafel, this one just didn't deliver The samosas were actually flavorful , but they didn't include the green sauce shown on the menu--and they lacked that crisp I'd expect. A little disappointing. And the fries... we asked for them well done, but they came out soft and soggy In my disappointment, I didn't even take photos . The setting is also a bit shabby compared to the Peekskill location, but I get it may not be what they're aiming for. All in all, it was a mixed experience. Great service trying to hold things together, but too many misses on the food and order accuracy. That said, because we've had such great experiences with other Crown Fried Chicken spots--especially Peekskill--I'm willing to give this one another shot Hopefully next time everything lines up a little better read more

This was pretty terrific. *And* I didn't even see the updated menu! I had chicken wings. They. Were. Delicious. Had a somewhat spicy coating and was crunchy. The rice was, okay I guess. It would need some doctoring. Has a spice that could benefit from a little sour cream. I am 100% definitely coming back for some of their other items. read more

Will you stay and eat there... NO, never! Is this the best take-out... YES! GREAT fried chicken, GREAT cheesesteaks, GREAT fries and GREAT prices! All combo sandwiches (platters) come with a can of soda. LOVE this place! The guys that work there are pretty nice and for as busy as they always seem to be, they turnaround pretty quickly. Like I said, you're not going to stick around and eat in there, but for take-out, 5-star! 'May' even be Halal (but I don't want to say for sure). I went here the other day and I will say, it is very hard to get into because there isn't much parking. The food I will say was good but the fries were very undercooked and soggy and the chicken was juicy, but really spicy. It didn't take long for it to come out. So far we've order the fried chicken and the tenders which were surprisingly good. The seasoning is slightly above average and cooked well. However, we ordered the mac and cheese which tasted so awful we had to throw it away. The wait times are a bit long here, but it may be because they've been closed for a long time and just opened back up. The food is Halal. Stop cooking your chicken and fish in the same oil. And why when a 9 piece is ordered you guys look for the smallest pieces to put in the box? Your chicken is good when it doesn't taste like fried fish. Your chicken and lamb over rice is NYC quality. Don't skimp on paying customers and stop frying everything in the same oil. read more

Best friend chicken by far anywhere around here and I will certainly never return to KFC. Enough said. I see someone else mentioned the sweet corn nuggets - its unfair how good they are and how much you get for only $3. Dangerously good. I also love the chicken and rice plate with tziki sauce. As far as fast food goes, this is a decent place. You can grab your typical fried chicken, burgers, and gyros in addition to any other craving you might have and you can do it all for a reasonable price! I came here one rainy weekend craving food that wasn't Burger King, Wendy's or McDonalds. As far as environment goes - this place needs a serious renovation. Its hard to tell that this place even IS a restaurant. I have no idea how they have stayed in business, but thats another issue for Bloomberg BusinessWeek to tacke. As you can tell from the pictures posted, its also quite a little shabby with unorganized menu items glue pasted onto the wall. There is only one large six person table in the restaurant too, so keep that in mind before you bring out your entire party here. read more

What a fun place to get some good food! They have pictures on the walls of all their dishes (good pictures too) so you can have a good idea of what you'll be getting. People are friendly and timely with orders. Food is top-notch quality! There aren't too many independent fried chicken places like this place around Westchester that I know of (and they have other stuff besides fried chicken). Today I got the 21-piece corn nuggets (oh. my. god were they good!) Really hit the spot! Also the fried chicken I got from there, I have to say, might even be higher quality than KFC (I didn't even know that was possible lol; then again I haven't had fried chicken outside of NY lol).
