Once again this location has ruined my lunch & messed up my order once again this location can't get it correct, how is this place still open ? Why is it the closet location to me ? Curbside pickup takes at least 10 minutes after being parked. Always forgets at least half your order.

This is a very standard McDonald's, but the bathrooms are very clean! My friends and I stopped at this mcdonalds on our way to a hiking trip. The service can be a bit slow, and they had a hard time with a coupon that my friend and I had. They also left out the egg in our sausage egg and cheese sandwich. HOWEVER, The people that work here are very nice and they try their best. They aren't rude like a lot of other fast food service workers. And again, THEIR BATHROOM IS VERY CLEAN! - perfect for a rest stop. read more

I don't necessarily write reviews like this but this "restaurant" is HORRIBLE. My southern soul just felt so out of place is this location. I was a big fan of the french fries and chicken nuggets but the customer service, bathrooms, and ambiance were terrible. First off, when i was ordering my 12 piece chicken nuggets and my large fries with my chocolate milkshake when all of sudden when i put my card in the machine to pay the lady asked me "where are your kids aren't they going to be eating this food, if someone were eating all this by themselves i think its safe to consider them as fat or obese." After this behavior i immediately started yelling back "You are the one who's working here and you are serving your customers. The customer is ALWAYS right. Also, i believe i don't recall asking for your opinion." After this experience i yanked my food out of her hands and started gobbling my fries right in front of her. I looked like a beast who hasn't eaten in days but i DONT care. I expected better from a restaurant who takes so many customers. But before i end this encounter i just wanna say that when i was drinking my milkshake i realized my straw got stuck on something. And before anyone asked, it was not just part of the Oreo i ordered but it was a STRAWBERRY!!!! I bet it was the girl who dared to body shame my skinny soul. I decided to let this slide since it was quite yummy and i heard great things about the place from my dearest friends and their kids. After this i knew i was gonna be on the road for a while so i decided to drop off the kids off at the pool (if you know what i mean) I went and there was toilet paper EVERYWHERE like someone had toilet papered a house. This left me shook. I just couldn't believe that the staff would leave it such condition. Next thing i expected was to slip over a banana peel but thankfully that didn't happen. I eventually got to the stall and the kids took a real far dive. My last complaint is about the lights. They were just far down and i expected higher ceilings. I thought at any moment the lights could just start falling down left and right. They could have even fell on me and i would have definitely sued. Food is OK but the prices are absolutely crazy. For the same price I can go to a deli get a breakfast sandwich and a drink for less than McDonald's and it's fresh not factory made and shipped. Wort mcdonald's ever I went through the drive through and the guy was unable to understand a 4 item Order I told the guy at the drive through three times i wanted a coke then again at the drive through window again the lady who didn't speak english told us to pull up I sat there for 15mins and the guy came out and asked what my order was again. after 5 mins he came out and gave me the wrong burger and forgot my fry's and drink after i told him what a wanted four times. The sign reads thick and juicy 1/4 lb burgers . They were when they first changed to fresh not frozen. Now they are flat over cooked and dried out. I always order fries with no salt but some of the employees have actually said to my face "what's the big deal it's a little salt" of course my fries were salty. Please don't order Door Dash or Uber eats. I order a meal from McDonalds and the forgot my french fries all the time. I went to the McDonalds my self after having it delivered an I was asked for phone that i did not get my fries. How the hell do I show proof besides have the bang with the food in it. I ordered thru Door Dash. Paid for express and then delivery charge and a tip for $5.50. They only wanted to refund me $3.00 for my fries. Which is bullshit. The fries cost $3.39 . I requested and argue for my $3.39 pls tax and a percentage of my tip. McDonalds did not not honor m receipt and Door Dash only wanted to refund me $3.00. This is a F#@%^ process. Just went on Friday 3/6/20 at around 8:10pm with my little son and ordered him a happy meal with a 4 piece chicken nuggets and just got the box with French fries, Apple slices, juice and toy! No chicken nuggets! Didn't realize until I got home which is about 10-15 drive, so disappointed and felt bad for my poor little boy. Now you go in and there's food on the floor and filthy tables - and lots of attitude from staff. Don't even think about using mobile ordering as they'll say you didn't pay, make you go inside anyway (with your screaming kids that made you want to use mobile ordering to begin with). I placed an online order for delivery, and Uber Eats delivered within the stated time. However, my large diet Coke was missing from the order. I reported immediately to Uber Eats, and have not heard back from them - this was an hour ago. I called the McDonald's in Peekskill, NY directly and explained what happened. The woman put me on hold and kept me on hold for more than half an hour. I kept calling them on my other phone, and they never bothered answering their phone. While this is common sense to check your order after you receive it from the drive thru You really have to make double sure and check here because they will get your order wrong. Hard to find but key location. Free wifi and looks fairly new.

They updated the restaurant and added self serve kosiks and now they bring the food to you and they have 2drive throughs and it looks so good they did a complete remodel and it is amazing!!!(Note:Some of the pictures on Here are older before the remodel.) read more

McDonald's on Welcher Avenue in Peekskill is hands-down the worst McDonald's probably in the state of New York after 17 years of attempting to get my order correct they have not succeeded not once was the oder correct. It is not uncommon for me to get a fish sandwich without the actual fish which is actually just a bread sandwich but whatever.
