I am surprised that I have not done the review for this place. It is the place that I go out of my way to get the bacon, eggs and cheese on a bagel whenever I am in the area. I found this place before Covid on the way to Bear Mt. or Minnewaska State Park and fell in love with this place. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and Turkey Sandwich on a hero ( wedge). OMG, it was just awesome. We went back few more times and it was consistently good. I was in the area last week but couldn't get my bagel since it was too late. They do close too early for my taste but I will just have to catch them next time. I might get to take a picture before I take a bite next time. read more

Beware - this is not an Italian deli. Food is abysmal. Chicken cutlet was frozen and not fried long enough, bread was stale, they forgot the oil and vinegar, and the prosciutto was as dry as leather. If I ask for double bacon/well done, on my bacon egg and cheese, then I should get double bacon/well done on my bacon egg and cheese. Multiple times I've arrived home after picking up food there only to discover that I have barely cooked, rubbery, bacon and only a slice and a half. In what world does a slice and a half count as double bacon? This is not a one-off thing either. The issue described above has happened more than a handful of times. Also, way too expensive It cost over $9.00 for the bacon/egg/cheese and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. If their food was on point I wouldn't mind the $9.00 price tag, but when you repeatedly mess up my sandwich, I'm done with you. read more

Okay y'all!!! This bagel spot is the JAM! We were in the area and I really wanted a bagel... I couldn't help but think this spot would be cool because of the name....welp my Yelp community it was ! Small joint but had all the fixins'! I got a everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheddar cheese and grilled onions and sweet peppers. It was DELICIOUS. Super fresh and tasty. They have tons of options from bagels, to the meats to the toppings (like veggies) and cream cheese! It took us 5 min just to figure out what breakfast bagel we wanted lol.y husband got a everything bagel with sausage, muenster cheese and egg and it was also good. The prices are very reasonable (to be honest the same as getting a bagel at a fast food join like McDonald's accept those are not good!) They also have pre-made sandwich for $3. My personal favorite "cool" thing I saw was not only could you make your hot coffee but cold coffee as well! They had whole milk, almond milk, simple syrup and flavored creamers to pick from and it was good coffee...I think next time I would go lighter on the ice though so it does not water down my coffee so much. The perfect NY deli/bagel joint. We came here hoping to get chewy bagels with yummy options for cream cheeses. This place did not disappoint. We got sesame bagel with lettuce, tomato, purple onion, and jalapeño cream cheese...delicious. Also a bacon egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel...delicious. And a plain bagel with cream cheese...delicious. Guys were super friendly. Place is very clean. Their menu looks pretty incredible for lunch items/subs/sandwiches too. Owner is confronted with issues and responds in childish, unfriendly and most importantly unprofessional manners. I was excited when this place opened back up after covid. However, I was very disappointed with this place. I ordered a steak bacon egg and cheese on a roll, and I got A steak and cheese on a roll. And it was tasteless. I also ordered chocolate chip pancakes and I got 2 chocolate chip pancakes that tasted like a burnt grill with bacon fat. The chocolate was only on the top and it was all burnt. I was SO DISAPPOINTED. I don't think I will be going back after the bad tasting food. How can u mess up on something so easy. read more

This deli the bomb. The bagels are so soft and fresh. Vegetable cream cheese is so good. For lunch go for an Italian stallion. You will not regret it. They have hot lunches everyday too. Fountain sodas are a nice touch. They also are one of the only local places to sell the best Snapple flavor (troparocka). They do catering as well: wedges, antipastos, fried platters. I work right down the street from this spot and it took me awhile to stop in. Looks a little gaudy from the outside and as a proud Irish American sometimes I steer clear of the overly Italian spots (I kid). Fact of the matter is this place turns out some pretty high quality sandwiches and hot food. My go to would be the stallion - Chicken Cutlet, prosciutto, fresh mozz, oil & vinegar you know the story. Breakfast is pretty spot on as well. I drop in Friday mornings for the weekly sausage, egg & cheese and it's one of the best in the area. The staff is very friendly and it's nice to support local business owners doing their thing. Definitely worth a shot if you're in the Peekskill area. read more

Before covid they was hands down amazing would rate 5 s no questions asked. But now they went way down hill. First time going to Fuhgeddaboudit and I ordered the Italian Stallion wedge. A few bites into the sandwich and I noticed the chicken cutlet was a FAKE fried chicken cutlet. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich from here, before ordering I explicitly asked them if it was fresh chicken and the lady at the counter said yes. I came home to eat the sandwich and it was a frozen patty that they fried. It was $8 for a frozen processed chicken patty and not a fresh chicken cutlet. I called to ask them and the manager on the phone said no they are fresh, which I know they weren't. I confronted her and she said well actually they are a frozen Tyson product but we fry them when you order!! She didn't offer to make it right at all. So I assumed from the name it was actually a real Italian Deli. Nope. I don't know any self-respecting Italian deli that would serve a chicken cutlet sandwich made from a frozen breaded chicken cutlet in a bag and thrown in a deep fryer. Then on top of it they put the roll that was to be used for my sandwich directly on a counter surface that was not meant for food (bags and stuff were in it) which grossed me out. They also took 20 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. The only reason I am not giving them 1 star is because they were super friendly and apologetic for the wait. read more

Just discovered this delightful deli yesterday while taking a morning walk. Met owner Silvia, a recent college graduate and lifelong Peekskill resident, who is the brainchild of the idea for this deli and was impressed with her enthusiasm and determination to provide a quality source for good breakfasts and lunches to Peekskill residents. Had egg sandwiches on fresh rolls from Neri's Bakery which were delicious. Coffee is from a local roaster Big Bang Coffee Roasters and is also delicious! the staff is by far one of the most pleasant staff out there. they will really go out of their way to provide a wonderful experience for you, especially the cashiers. the reason why i rate it as a two star is because i tend to notice sometimes when i ask for bagels they don't grab the bagels from a bin behind them( the fresh bagels) it just magically ends up in the toaster but when i ask for it not to be toasted they get the fresh back. kind of disappointed that they tend to use day or old how ever old the bagels are, and the cashiers are told to say they are fresh read more
