Best fryed chicken spot if you get the late night munchies trust I'm big and I always love there food

Went by this Crown location early Sunday morning lol after leaving Philly from enjoying a night out with the cousins. I'm from Brooklyn so I get excited when I can indulge in some Crown action in NJ. I got my chicken wings and a pizza roll and it hit the spot just as needed. Service was quick and since it was near closing I received a 6 piece wing instead of a 4 piece lol no complaints on that. I also admired this location because it was open not closed in as I'm used to and it was very clean. When in the area I will definitely return. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for some time. My husband was out one night and I was on my own for dinner so it was the perfect time to order. I tried a bunch of menu items. The chicken was hot and crispy, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the fries were great but my favorite thing were the collard greens. They were so good spicy with pieces of pork in them, ugh I wish I had some now. I will be ordering again definitely. read more

Been here several times but never reviewed it. It's take out in a shopping center that can look a little desolate at night. We've been going for years and it's fine. This is my absolute favorite local place to get a lamb gyro. Huge portion for the price. You can get it by itself or get the platter with drink and fries. Delicious!! This review is based on our most recent visit. Ordered chicken wings, cheesesteak hoagie, collard greens, Mac n cheese, and beef patties. No complaints. I love their chicken. Good spice in the breading. We just got the wings this time. Very good. I'm always confused about the hard rolls they include. We never eat them. Usually hard as a rock. This was the first time getting a cheesesteak hoagie. Pretty good. If you order the plain cheesesteak they put a ton of ketchup and Mayo. It's an interesting sauce but sometimes too much. The collard greens are spicy but have large chunks of pork. Very good! Mac n cheese ok. I don't think it's homemade but maybe I'm wrong. Beef patties - I'm torn on these. Love the crust. Very spicy!! The meat has an awesome flavor. I have trouble with the texture. Almost wish they offered chicken patties. It's my personal preference because I'm not a huge beef person. Went by this BurlingtonTwp Crown Chicken Saturday late afternoon. I have been going there for years. They closed up for a while and but have now reopened and made the store larger. I always get the chicken breast. I was disappointed with my order when I got home. I ordered what I normally get and was surprised by finding such little meat on my Chicken Breast. It looks like they removed half the meat and then left the bone on before frying the chicken breast just to make it look bigger. Really now, come on. I think that maybe they pulled off 1/2 the meat and used it for something else? You pay a premium for the white meat. My 4 pieces came to a little over $11. I thought maybe it was just one bad piece.... but it was every piece. I have always loved my crown chicken but this may cause me to stop going there anymore. The service there was quick, but getting half the meat you paid for is depressing. read more

God has himself chosen a spot right next to a liquor store to place this amazing fast food fried chicken spot called THE CROWN FRIED CHICKEN! Prices are average and the food is delicious! Very very delicious! Honestly they have THE BEST PLAIN CHEESECAKE in town! And you won't even expect that! Like homie you gotta go here and pick up the fresh crispy chicken with some of them potato wedges they also got some spicy chicken tikka which is the chicken over rice for my platter lovers! Omg it's definitely a bad idea to order food from this place. They send me order incorrectly plus missing item however they charging me a lot that's crazy they are lucky because I didn't report them I just called grubhub then I got a refund. read more

I like this place however the chicken was cold and hard and the guy told me that it was fresh I was so disappointed. I then told the guy that there was hair in my food and he tells me that I'm the one that put it there!! I like the store but I didn't like being treated like that and on top of that no one wears hair nets they don't wash their hands and for guys with big beards they don't have beard guards to keep hair out of your food. They don't use gloves to serve the food nor do they wash their hands. And very often they're packed and during these days and times with covid-19 going on I don't feel so safe there. Its late night...in south hersey...and Wawa, McDonald's, Burger King wont do it for you. You are starving and you want to get your ear on in a major way. So, where are YOU going to go to get that food fix??? Crown Fried Chicken is that spot, for real for real. I dont know how I go months in between missing out and forgetting that this spot exist. My favorite are their fried chicken wings (you do have to season them before you eat them). Gyros, burgers, cheeseteaks, italian cheeseburgers and hotdogs, salads, pudding, I mean the list goes on and on what they can prepare late at night. It's a 10/10 best food chicken is fresh really crispy the have great service the night take 10 20 minutes but it's worth it

Best fried chicken ever. I love love love. I usually stick to what I know like Popeyes but I get grossed out by the blood and stuff in the chicken. So I wanted to try something different . This place is halal meaning the chicken is cut and the blood is drained out so you won't see any red in it, pure white. The breading is really really good also and very tasty. And you can tell the oils that they cook it with is clean. Very very tasty I highly recommend it. read more

Okay, so for years I've been talking about trying crown fried ...years !!! So last night we stopped and ordered some chicken, greens, and potato salad . And let me mention I love fried chicken(I can't stress it enough)but not here ! I was so disappointed!!!!! I thought the chicken was too salty, and I took one bite and could not eat the rest. Next, let's get to the potato salad.......omg I spit that thing right out . It was pure vinegar and or spoiled. I mean, I didn't think you can mess up a potato salad. OK, It always sounds good, when you're getting it, eating it, till 30-45 min. later, and your stomach perculates!! Being on a regimen, when you eat something fried, Holy Shit..your insides-tell you ..AHH Are you kidding me!!?? I went here couple times, in past 2 years, Don't anymore..since my eating regimen..have to stay clear away from fried, being bad in moderation..not with this.
