Flakey like a croissant, soft like a standard doughnut. Nice flavours of spice that complimented everything nicely. My only regret is eating the whole thing in one sitting - my body was not prepared for that much sugar!! Overall really great shop! I'm sure they're trying to accommodate vegans, but there is still some work to do there so the food tastes good and isn't just put together to say there is a vegan option on the menu. Everyone else loved their food. It's a nostalgic place for all of them, too, so that adds to their experience. The only knock was the tots were a little on the cooling-off side and didn't quite hit the mark... although I still managed to finish them.
