Reynolds Chevrolet GMC Sales - The quote I got quoted

    Reynolds Chevrolet GMC Sales

Chris was my sales representative, Logan the sales manager, and Ed handled financing. The entire team was extremely transparent and genuinely open to understanding my goals from the start. They worked collaboratively with me, clearly explaining where they had flexibility and where their hands were tied, which I really appreciated. At no point did I feel pressured, whether it was around pricing, financing, or optional products. The process felt respectful, honest, and well managed from beginning to end. I am 100% satisfied with my purchasing experience. The deal we reached on a new Yukon XL was strong enough to justify a four hour round trip drive to trade in my old vehicle and upgrade to my new one. That alone says a lot. If you are looking for a dealership that values transparency, professionalism, and a low pressure buying experience, I could not recommend Reynolds GMC Subaru more strongly. Scathing Review for Reynolds Chevrolet…read more I normally try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but my experience with Reynolds Chevrolet was disappointing from start to finish. I spent weeks working with an agent trying to find a vehicle that fit my budget. I was patient, flexible, and clear about what I needed -- yet after all that time, I still couldn't get a single option that matched the pricing we discussed. It felt like I was being strung along with no real effort to help me find the right car. But the worst part wasn't even the lack of results. While I was there, I witnessed something that completely changed how I view this dealership. A manager -- Miss Garner -- openly belittled a woman who was simply there looking for a job. Watching a manager talk down to someone who was trying to better their life was honestly shocking. It showed a complete lack of professionalism and basic respect. Between the poor customer service, the wasted time, and the unprofessional behavior from management, I can confidently say I won't be returning -- and I wouldn't recommend Reynolds Chevrolet to anyone who values honesty, respect, or their time.

So where to start... FIVE stars isn't enough! So here are 5 more to make it 10! Not my first…read moretime buying a new Subaru, and this was truly a GREAT experience. Jacob T. was patient, and never pushy. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to answer all my questions and helped me find the right price point for the Ascent I wanted. Everyone I worked with there from Nick in financing to Brad who showed me all AWESOME options my new car has. Everyone was knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely excited for my family and I. I can't say enough how much I appreciated Jacobs assiatance with getting the deal made with our new Ascent. BRAVO management at Reynold for having a sales rep like Jacob on your team.

Be aware of anything at Reynolds Subaru. I Purchased a used Subaru Crosstrek. After driving 500…read moremiles check engine light came on and Reynolds indicated I needed a new engine. I discovered Reynolds knew there were issues and never reported such to Carfax which made it look like they had not attempted to address a sludge problem. I was able to secure the technicians notes - "All sprockets were just replaced due to lack of maintenance. Sludge and debris likely caused "another failure"- which indicates Reynolds knew of a previous failure; sludge buildup and sprocket replacement prior to putting auto on Used Auto lot and provided a Carfax to me which is very important in used car purchases in helping the purchaser be comfortable with the history of the car without any such reference. I had no choice but to purchase a new Crosstrek unless I wanted to have the used Crosstrek repaired with a rebuilt engine which Reynolds did not recommend. At the end of the day, although I had provided 2000.00 cash and 1500 trade in for the used Crosstrek, Reynolds did not allow for those funds to be brought into the new car deal. Nor did they discount the sales price in any way different than for any other purchaser which I would have been OK with by the way. And big, beautiful Subaru of America said, it was between me and Reynolds which also blew me away. I had facts / documents to share to support the above and Subaru of America says since Reynolds is Independent to take up with them to resolve. Keep that in mind in the future also if expecting Subaru of America to do the right thing. And equally laughable, General Manager (GM) said sales doe snot always know what service has done to a car before being put on a lot. FYI he is GM of Service and Sales. Net - 1. A car was mispresented to me by not sharing with me what records Reynolds had on file but ironically not submitted to Carfax as other visits had been. 2. I threw away 3500 as they did not provide any consideration for dollars I initially brought to the deal. 3. As I stated be careful and if like me never shop or deal with Reynolds Subaru.

I have bought 3 vehicles from Cris Cars over the last 10 years, every single one has had multiple…read morecostly issues. The first was a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder that wouldn't start randomly in the cold, less than 30 days after purchasing it from him. He told me it was probably just a battery, just go ahead and buy a battery. I bought the battery and it seemed to be fixed at the moment. Then the window stopped rolling down a few weeks after that and had to have the window motor replaced. When I went to get it inspected the year following purchasing it, I found out the entire frame as well as undercarriage was rusted and had to be welded to be fixed, which I also paid to have repaired. It took a mechanic almost a month to run down and fix the issue that was keeping it from starting randomly in the cold(it wasn't just the battery). Then the motor went. The second vehicle I bought from him was a 2004 Acura MDX. The first thing that went was the window motor again. Next the AC stops working. After those repairs, a year and a half after I purchase it, it starts making a horrible, loud sound so I take it to a mechanic again. The exhaust as well as several other parts of the vehicle are rusted through and have to be replaced or welded to be fixed. The 3rd vehicle I buy from him is a 2009 Acura MDX. He let me trade in the 2004 Acura MDX as I already had all the places that were rusted through replaced/repaired. Additionally, no bank would approve the loan because the price he had listed at was over 125% of the vehicle value, so if he didn't get my 2004 Acura as a trade in to knock down the already inflated price, it wouldn't have been approved for purchase through a bank. First thing I notice, not even a day after I purchase it, is the backup camera is so grainy/blurry, it is unusable. He tells me I just need to clean the camera off. I do so, and surprise, it doesn't fix it. He then tells me I can get a replacement camera installed at Best Buy in Charlottesville for $100 or less. I call Best Buy in Charlottesville, yet another surprise, it is more than double that and it will be at least a month until they can get to it. A side note on this, since he uses Carfax for his values, when you input the features of a vehicle in Carfax, they are basing the value of it off those features being in good working order, which this was not. The Bluetooth starts draining the battery repeatedly which forces me to disconnect the Bluetooth and replace the battery. A little over a year after purchasing, it starts idling rough and the check engine light starts flashing. It is turned off and towed immediately. The mechanic finds that someone installed a repair sleeve improperly which melted the coil, threads, etc. and states that it has been this way probably since I purchased it from Cris Cars. After the mechanic he sent me to having it for a month, I get told that they can't fix it unless they drop a motor in it after $1000 worth of work that I now owe for regardless if I replace the engine or not. An engine, an AC compressor, and $4200 later....I take extremely good care of my vehicles. I have all regular maintenance done, have a folder of all maintenance records, and have not put massive miles on any of these vehicles. The second I suspect something is wrong; they go to the shop. Every one of these vehicles cost thousands of dollars to repair shortly after being purchased from this business. His logo is cheap but reliable, yet his prices are not cheap, and not one of these vehicles was reliable. Based off each of these issues, it seems he slaps the cheapest fix on things he knows will break again within a year or two, forcing you to purchase another vehicle before you have even finished paying off the loan. The vehicles are overpriced based on NADA (which is who your insurance company is more than likely to refer to for the value if it is in a wreck), Kelly Blue Book, etc. He does not offer in-house financing like he used to, he refers you over to a bank that you could have gotten a loan through regardless. Definitely do not recommend!!
