Purchased the vehicle as I was told I could take to a garage in Charlottesville for work. After calling and being told they are busy, no loaner vehicle, & they would need the vehicle for atleast a week, I called back and spoke to Gary. I mentioned I had a mechanic that could do the work, he said to get an invoice. After sending in the invoice, waiting almost a week for an answer, the answer was no, Ven the owner will not fix the car. Even though they are offering a 30 day, something mile warranty. This place is crooks. They lie. Owner will not reach out nor cares about what goes on with the vehicles and lives of his customers. Was told to send in an email to the employees direct email, like they can't just respond for him? Please, please go elsewhere & purchase your vehicle. Do not offer them your time or business.

Paul in finance was equally as knowledgeable and helpful in handling the titling, maintenance options and final figures. I highly recommend Chris for your automotive needs both new and used. I have mostly positive things to say and then a few typical items to share: 1). The good Wyatt was our salesperson and at only 21 yrs old sold us his 13th car for the month of June! He was a damn fine salesperson and he felt like very low pressure and relaxed with us. There was no sense of stereotypical salesman pushiness or arrogance. We enjoyed this young man alot... we recommend visiting him for a decent buying experience! In addition, the sales process was relatively easy and they worked well with our needs and requests. We walked away with the vehicle we wanted and with the monthly payment we needed. 2). The typical There were two cars that were identical and priced $700 apart due to "battery replacement" on the more expensive one. Think what you will of this. Sales manager was nice enough and we enjoyed working with him. But, when it came to looking at the extended warranty, the price was always his best price... until he "shifted things around" and found us like 3 more best prices. We were almost convinced to buy one but remembered that companies are ALWAYS offering extended warranties because they want your business, so we will wait and purchase elsewhere. Just seemed shady. Lastly, the wait on the sales manager to crunch their numbers is mind numbing and stupid. Folks, we have computers in 2020 and things should go faster. This is why people goto Carmax! All in all... we bought our vehicle here because it was friendly, local, competitive and we enjoyed Wyatt!

Now sometimes they just cant squeeze you in, but in an emergency I have been prioritized because the vehicle would have otherwise been unsafe to operate. They care, and that's is what makes Gibsons one of my favorite shops to do business with. They also stand behind their work, a year after they replaced a part, the part failed. They got me in, replaced the defective part, and didn't charge me a dime for parts or labor. If I had any gripe it would be that they are not open on weekends when everybody else is off, but hey, their mechaincs are people to and need a weekend as well to be with family. Last but not least, very second amendment friendly as they deal ammunition and select firearms and optics from the shop as well. I was impressed with the vehicles they had on hand, but I knew what I wanted from their website after I found the car on Autotrader. Everyone was friendly on site, from the Clay the salesman, to the support staff and the owner. I did my homework in advance, and we came to a price that I thought was satisfactory. They are asking fair prices to begin with, in line with the market, so I don't think it's worth spending a lot of time and energy to try and squeeze blood from a stone. If you want a nice used car and a good experience buying it, these are decent and fair people to work with. And if you buy, go to the Charlottesville Downtown Mall and get a meal while they're doing the paperwork. It's about a five minute drive, and you don't have to just spend the time waiting.
