Just as we pulled into Orange, the "Charge System" light came on. I just so happened to catch one of the chain parts stores just prior to closing; they verified my alternator was bad; and (thank the Lord) had one in stock. The young man at the counter suggested a decent hotel in town, and advised: "Now in the morning, you be at Altman's Tire when they open at 8; they'll take care of you." Sure enough, Altman's owner opened the doors just before 8 a.m. the next morning and had me on the road by 10 a.m. The price charged was cheaper than what I would have been charged back home and I've had zero issues with the work they performed. Altman's is like stepping back into a more sophisticated time. Thank you so much.

We were in crisis mode and the folks at Mac could have taken full advantage of the situation. They did not, they were beyond accommodating and beyond fair in what they charged for the repair. I was truly humbled by their humanity in dealing with our situation. We are forever grateful. The mechanic, Ben, fixed the problem properly and we were able to trek the 4 hour drive home without incident. Brandon and Ben are a reminder that there are still good, decent, people out there doing business. I will absolutely recommend Mac's Auto Center to anyone that is willing to listen.
