As of last week, there was also a massive hole in the windshield from a fallen tree branch. This vehicle had become an emotional burden, and I requested Roscoe's please take it away from me -- no matter the offer. Roscoe's responded to my request within a day, and they were very flexible in finding a pickup time that corresponded with my schedule (I even had to rain check twice). On the day of pickup, a very friendly and skilled driver named Rusty helped me to remove the stuck-on license plates and guided me through all the paperwork. I now have $300 in my pocket and a beautiful, Accord-sized open space in my driveway. He was incredibly helpful, was very careful not to damage anything in or around the driveway with his truck, and provided delightful conversation the entire time. I would recommend Roscoe's to anyone looking to get rid of a car ASAP for a very fair cash offer. I also hope that Roscoe's knows what an incredible employee they have in Rusty!

The next morning, I woke up to find my car leaking oil, which was never an issue before. I brought the car back to them and explained everything, but after nearly two full days with no communication, I had to call myself. They told me they'd have an update in 20 minutes and that it would be ready by then. Instead, I received an estimate for over $1,000 worth of repairs. Keep in mind, I explained the oil wasn't leaking before the service, but they just kept insisting it was a "broken cover." They didn't even seem to consider that their oil change might have caused the problem. What's worse is they weren't even willing to take responsibility for any of it, only agreeing to cover a small part of the repairs--yet that still wouldn't fully resolve the leak. This place used to be amazing; I've recommended them to so many people because of their great customer service and unbeatable prices. But after this, I'll never be coming back, and I certainly won't be recommending them anymore.
